This speed Square has changed my life. It's all that and then some. Sexy black with white lettering!! It's pure porn! Man rocks up on the job flashes this tri slut and all the other chippys get hard! People are looking at me like Jesus has been reincarnated! I'm smashing angles left right and centre earning that big dough leaving the haters in my wake. Just buy one it's the danglers.Only issue with the fecker is it'll fly out of your belt every few minutes!!!

I was toying with an American square but to be honest the finish and reviews weren’t good, even on the pictures it looked hard to read the markings, I looked also at the Milwaukee ones, the imperial version wasn’t what I wanted this time, though at 62 I’ve grown up with it I guess the metric system is finally getting through to me, the metric one from Milwaukee demanded an higher premium. I have had Hultafors products before and decided to go with this one.I’m glad I did, it’s very well marked and I don’t see that changing through use, straight where it needs to be, very sturdy and accurate to boot. It’s not the cheapest by quite away but I personally think it’s quality exceeds its price. And therefore I recommend it as one to look at for certain

Found this to be very useful for quick markups and also as a router guide for small jobs. I especially like the ability to draw lines at a particular depth by sliding the tool across the workpiece.

Wanted a good speed square for a while..woodpecker stock seems to be impossible to get so went for this Hultafors from previous reviews and other purchases from Axminster in past. Whilst the square is square and can be used for 80% of tasks required, I was disappointed that the lipped edge when placed on surface isn't flat. There's a twist in it, albeit somewhat small it does rock side to side when pressing down. Just not as accurate and precise as I thought this would have been.
Very easy to use. The angle you want is easily and accurately set, just piviting your tool against your piece of wood. Dimensions of the rafter square are large enough for main applications. Nice to have in my workshops.
I bought this a few weeks ago and was really impressed with the workmanship, the accuracy it produces when drawing angles and squares, or running lines down a face. Superb tool, detailed, easy to use, accurate and great attention to detail with the inscribed measures. Won't be without this ever!
I have used and dropped many rafter squares over the years and I always buy Hultafors. I was given one as an apprentice and just like them. They are a professional tool for the roofing tradesman and site carpenter. That's it! Axminster's service is excellent and so makes buying any tool a pleasure.
Bought this as a replacement for DeWalt Rafter Square that was nowhere near the accuracy. Axminister Tools, as always, hasn't disappointed me. I'm a woodworker and I depend on accurate angles in my projects so this square is a great addition to my workshop.
