Amazing Utilitarian Design
Let me preface this by saying that I’ve had a Hydroflask since 2017. I’ve seen over the years as Hydroflask came out with new designs and modifications to the mouth and lids of their bottles and honestly I always found them quite ugly. I clung closely to my 2017 edition wide mouth, glad I would never have to make the change. Yet last month, I tragically left it behind in a university classroom and was unable to find it again. I searched for old stock of that same 2017 design and found some on Ebay but after watching some reviews about the new Flex Straw Cap design, I gave in. And I am soooo happy that I upgraded to the new tech! The new straw cap it so much easier to clean (it comes apart so you can get into every nook and cranny), the mouthpiece locks into place so ... The muted Oat color I got is also so lovely and goes perfectly with my now more neutral/monochrome style. I hope to cherish this bottle for many years!... Show more

Does not keep drink cold after an hour. Ice melts quickly
I am very discouraged with my purchase of the Hydro Flask bottle as it does not keep drinks cold very long. Ice melts quickly. I have tried everything, making sure lid is secure and on tightly. I have put the water bottle in the fridge after filling it with water to try to keep it from turning warm after about an hour. I always fill it with cold water and ice. What am I doing wrong? It seems like for $40 plus dollars, the ice shouldn’t melt quickly and water shouldn’t be warm after an hour or so.I only use it for water.... Show more

Fits in my car cup holder!!!
I love this 24 oz hydroflask! It fits perfectly in the cup holders of my car and boat unlike bulky bottom water containers. Now I've never had a straw hydroflask, but now I love that too! I appreciate the flip top to access the straw so my hands don't touch any part that goes in my mouth.....genius! It's easy to clean since the straw is generously wide. The container keeps my water cold all day at work and even on the boat when it's hot outside. The indigo color is great for year round. It's more like a navy color and it's perfect. I'll keep buying hydroflask!... Show more

Great!
The Hydro Flask 24 oz wide mouth with flex straw cup is the best out there! I have a few Hydro Flask cups and they will last forever. They keep our drinks cold all day long! Even the next day I see ice remnants in it because it works so well. This particular size is great because it also fits my car cup holder which is great! Love the built-in straw as that is my preferred way to drink. These are easy to clean; I put them in the top rack of the dishwasher. Highly recommend these! So worth the price! Amazing quality!... Leveled up.
This 24oz HydroFlask with flex straw cap has literally doubled my intake potential. Perfect for a treadmill or spin bike workout class. I also love that the wide mouth lids can be switched out interchangeably (with the exception that the long straw would simply not fit inside my shorter 12oz bottle). Truly keep hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold. Washes clean of any residual coffee or tea smells or tastes. Slender design fits in any cup holder or travel bag side pocket.... Show more

Love the insulation
I love how insulating it is. It keeps my drink hot or cold for a really really long time. I guess there is always a drawback to the insulating ability though, because the sleek and heavy design of the bottle makes it always fling itself out of the bottle pocket of my backpack! Because of that I always have to keep it inside the bag and it makes it harder to take out and sip frequently when I'm doing a lot of walking and can't for example, carry a bottle with a bunch of bags already in my hands. Also, with the way the straw piece is, it seems that it would also get dirty easily in open air. But for its insulating ability, I still love it.... Show more

Makes Hydration Easy
I got the Hydro Flask Wide Mouth with Flex Straw for my 11-year-old son. He LOVES it. It keeps his water cold throughout the day. He loves the straw that allows him to simply flip up the tab and take a sip. With the flip-up straw option, he seems to drink more water than if he has to remove a cap to take a drink. The Indigo color is a nice rich color. The bottle is durable and I love that it is dishwasher-safe. The carry handle is durable and is big enough to easily grab and hold onto. Would highly recommend this bottle to anyone looking for a good quality water bottle.... Show more

My turn.
Four years ago I gave a hydro flask to my then 14 yo granddaughter when she asked for one for Christmas. Two years later her cousin wanted one and I gave him one, again for Christmas. Both of those water bottles are still being used. The grands are still happy with them. So this fall I picked one up for myself. I’m really happy with the 24 oz bottle I bought for myself. It’s the perfect size for my cup holders.I maybe buying another one this fall for the 13 yo and in a few years the last two will get theirs.... Show more

Not kid friendly at all. So banged up and deformed
Bangs up easily and loses form. Difficult to flip straw up. Not kid friendly. My 7 yo has carried this around school for under 3 months and it looks so bad-its deformed on the bottom and the paint is chipping off. The straw compartment is hard to flip up. She has to use her teeth instead of her hands to get it to flip. I just got her a yeti straw container which flip opens way easier. The 5 yo cant open the flip straw up at all. Not impressed with hydroflask design and quality at all. Not worth the price.... Show more

Works well with the Chug Cap
I find the flex straws not very effective when you have ice in the flask. I substituted the chug cap on this wide mouth flask, and it works better. I wish the boot of the flask would fit in the holder. I like the boot since the bottom of the flasks always get scratched and dented, but need to use the holder. I also wish all models came in the full range of colors. You should also be able to order any flask with any style cap as the base model. I have a collection of unused caps from mixing and matching.... Show more
