Very good day, however I am a little disappointed as I cannot use the ibasso uac app in my iphone. What I am really happy with though is the physical doc, it looks and feels brand new. Really awesome for an unboxed item which is 2k cheaper than the new one.

The sound is very clean and crisp with no EMI noise or any other kind of noise. The soundstage and imaging are better than my other dongle which is twice the price. The only problem I had was when I connected it to my android phone the sound was getting cut off after a few minutes. Installing the ibasso uac app fixed that problem. The bundled usb adapter and the usb cable had fingerprints on them. But I am satisfied with the product.

I had the option to pick up this great Portable DAC/Amp for my over ear headphones and after reading reviews for use with my android S23 ultra elected to get this one. I initially ordered through Amazon, my typical go-to provider but after two separate delays in the delivery elected to go here as Headlamp is a vendor Ibasso lists here in the states. Not only did the product arrive quick, it was also $5 less. I highly endorse this company for their pricing and service

Excellent resolution amd power for a portable dac. Has both 3.5mm and 4.4mm balanced pentacon connection. Has detachable usb cable and came with iPhone ott cable too...Was able to drive even the akg k712 pro to very good level. Silent on iems.The sq is fantastic. Lot of resolution but not on your face. Lots of air and insights into the recording but still listenable without fatigue for long periods.Compared to my tempotec e44. Power wise both are almost same. But this one has both 3.5 mm and 4.4mm balanced. E44 sounds almost there but little warm tonality. This one is more neutral but still retains air and resolution still sounding fatigue free...
I'm using 1 Custom Junior IEM Balanced). No complaints regarding the sound, it's absolutely great. The lightning cable supplied was sub par. The cable length is way too short and the jack was heating up on the lightening port side. I belive that due to the short cable, the USB C port (Female end) got loose on the DAC. I've replaced it with a better Fiio lightening cable but it's still not secure and disconnects with movement (significant movement) so cannot carry it in my pocket anymore.
I felt this DAC as a more natural sounding rather than digital hifi sounding.Pros: felt somewhat true to original sound without any coloration. Good addition of filters with the UAC app. Individual buttons for vol up and down and led indication for standby, pcm and dsd modes. Could feel some difference in detail when playing a lossless media.Cons- gets warm during extended use. Slight swiggle at the usb c connection with the dac. Couldn't find any app for windows 10 or 11 to try out the filters or adjust the gain. Driver provided by ibasso doesn't suit work well with windows 10 or 11.
Good build. Buttons for volume control are good. Can drive my iems without braking sweat and adding color. Able to drive my HD6xx at decent volume.Getting hot sometimes while using. App only works on Android. EQ would have been really nice feature to have.
I used to own the LG flagship phone that had a very decent DAC and high quality headphone socket built in. Listening to Apple music (lossless) was a pleasure. LG stopped making phones sadly and I had to move to another. So, an external USB DAC was the only option to be able to get good sound into my headphones as the default DAC in phones is crap. I did my research and settled on iBasso DC04. I must say, it exceeds my earlier LG sound quality. I am very impressed by how dynamic the DC04 is. It is very good at the high end of frequencies, very clear and details - but whats even more impressive is that this little DAC also had the low end grunt and the 'chesty' feel in the vocals. Love it!
This was my first dac before I was using Moondrop - click and I think my Final A3000 needed more power which moondrop - click wasn't able to provide. But Ibasso is so perfect. The clarity and the tone is just perfect. I think if you're looking for balanced and organic DAC just go for it.
It works well with my iOS and android devices both and that is the best part of it. Experience could have been better if few more controls like next or previous for songs. Also it obsoletes the volume buttons of my it's devices that is bit pain sometime. Sound quality wise it really makes good music better.The lightning to c type connector also comes with it and that is not indicated on the product page, that made me purchase additional connector along with the dac and that is now useless since hpz is not returning it.
