Good for the price

So, the speaker really sucks. I wasn't expecting a lot for a cheap price and 3" speaker but it was really bad. On the other hand, plug in headphones ( I haven't tried powering a cabinet) and the sound quality is really good. And this is about as inexpensive an interface as you can buy new or used on the market. Much cheaper than IK's other interfaces. It's not a Focusrite or Apollo Twin but for the price, just grab it.

Great practice amp

I use this amp when I travel to practice. It. Has enough volume to sing with., but not enough to be annoying to others. If you are looking for a good practice amp that you can take anywhere this is the ticket. It connects to my IPad and works with tone bridge and Ampitude apps. This enables me to use my effects with the amp. The only thing it should have had was a power adapter plug, it is strictly batteries only.

Great with an external speaker cabinet

I originally got this iRig Nano to use with my Steinberger Spirit GT-Pro for my sailboat cabin. But I ran it into my Jet City JCA12XS with a Celestion GT12-75 and it sounds really nice. I use a pedal board for comp, effects, and dirt. Very nice. The built in speaker doesn't compare to an external cabinet.

Hot tip

To use headphones see review below. For sound to come out of both phones you need a 1/4 male MONO to an 1/8 or 1/4 female stereo adapter (depending on phones plug). Not actually stereo but you get it in both ears.

Maybe Faulty...Maybe just a Poor Device

Bought to have a small speaker and headphone connected amp. If played with a clean sound the speaker is no louder than the unplugged electric guitar. Tried headphone jack - again, a lack of sound (it's there, just feint). Then tried the lite version of their App...not good. Returned it to MF for a refund (almost would have been cheaper to keep it due to postage cost).

Not universal

For ios only, not for aux using, for music apps only Has not DC option While switch stomp keep fingers on volume, - can get over... But for this price good quality. Make a deal

Poor sound

Use it for speach & music. Didn't plug in any instrument (guitar). It's sound quallity is very poor!

Good product, good for what I use it for. Can help me record my originals, and also very durable.

Wish it allowed headphone only use

Update added//// I decided to try the "amp out" outlet with headphone and it does work...i gotone of the adapter plugs, a 1/4 to 1/8 standard headphone adapters and my standard headphone work...unless the plug is exactly in right spot it is mono but if you jiggle it to right spot you get both going,,,however for me the mono speaker is better then nothing...so that solves my main complaint about not being able to use headphones...if u have 1/4 plug headphones they plug directly and maybe those would run both speakers but I dont have a set of thise and prefer my earbuds anyway..
