IK Multimedia iRig Stream Streaming Audio Interface

I am a Gospel musician who often “goes live” on Facebook during services. I always wanted a way to stream in stereo once I found out that Facebook made that a possibility but there weren’t any options other than a usb mixer which even the smaller ones are sizable and you need a power outlet. Now that I have the irig Stream I’m able to do live streams in stereo with a VERY compact footprint. This this is awesome and the sound quality is great! One small thing to note is that the lighting cable that came with it (has a red ring around it) wouldn’t work with my iPhone XR, but another cable from an older irig did work...kinda strange. But I still love this thing!

Very good interface for livestream. Especially easy for me to do online music lessons. I can connect electronic drums, headphones, microphone and loop back music from my laptop. So my students could hear all these sounds clearly with great quality.

Does everything you want!

It’s a great solution for audio streaming! For a couple months I was doing the “headphone adapter hack” into my iPhone for live music streaming but I had no control of levels and no stereo signal. After I purchased the iRig Stream, my audio levels were perfect and in stereo! - My only complaint is that no DC power adapter is included with it, important for charging your phone during a long streaming session. You have to purchase it separately, not cool! I did some investigating and found it uses a common 5v DC adapter. I had one laying around fortunately, because the iRig power adapter is $40?!

Good for basic level livestreams

I purchased the iRig recently. It was fairly easy to setup, once I downloaded the iRig recorder app on my phone. I use it for DJ livestreaming, and the sound quality is OK. The setup works with RCA inputs. It doesn't sound as good with a microphone input if you are singing. But speaking is OK. For the price, you can do a decent livestream over Instagram or Zoom. Also be careful that your sound input is not too CPU intensive or else the recording will skip.

I LOVE THE IRIG STREAM!

The shipping took a while as the product was limited in availability but it was so worth the wait. The iRig Stream was so easy to set up with my audio interface and my iPhone to play my music from my MacBook Pro. I produce with Ableton Live and sometimes I like live streaming my productions to give people a sneak peak into my work. When I did some test recordings on my iPhone, I was so blown away at the crisp, clear sounds that were coming through. I mean top notch quality. My vocals were very present and the music mixed amazingly well. I am so happy with this!I previously used the Zoom-22 for the same purposes but I just wasn’t quite happy with it. It sounds good but compared to the irig stream, I saw a dramatic different with the irig. Superior!Love it!

Perfect solution for Streaming to Twitch

Love it. Its' small and compact and does exactly what its intended to do.The only thing I dont like is the power adaptor choice they use. Its very easy to get unplugged and I fear that I might damage the pins on it. Once its all set up its pretty permanent though so overall I am satisfied.

Stream playing along with tracks

I am playing guitar along with tracks on Periscope live streaming site. Computer>Pro Tools>Mackie Mixer main outputs L&R>iRig Stream>iPhone 11 Pro>Periscope. Works automatically. If u have sound in headphones from irig stream unit its working. I am also going to run guitar tru iRig HD2 into mixer for play along along with mic for singing. All into mixer then out to iRig stream to lightning plug on iPhone. There is a usb cord provided for Android. Can check out sound on Periscope> Tom Serotonin and the Dopamines. Cheers !

The portable recording solution

As a person that likes to be on the go and sometimes comes up with ideas or opportunities to do recording this little device was exceptionally good even when I'm sitting around and I just on my iPad or iPhone I can plug it in and do some on the go recording. I really like the fact that it does not have to use any extra equipment to run power to it it plugs into whatever iPad iPhone computer you have and run over that battery power. Now as a person that is totally blind this is a good device for touch tile so you can touch the buttons and understand kind of what they are with a little bit a help of explanation of what is what you can operate this easily.

Very cool with good audio but slight improvement needed

Really enjoyed using this product. It does connect super easy with the output from our DJ decks. We use it to stream live on to Instagram and Facebook. Super easy to use however one issue that we ran into but was totally our misunderstanding of how the device worked. It only transmits or displays audio level only when you are live. Would be great if you were able to pre-check audio level before going live instead of adjusting levels while you are streaming and people are viewing. Not the end of the world since we adjust levels pretty quickly but it would help out! Still would highly recommend! #sweepstakes

iRig Stream exact fit

This is just what I needed to get music from a remote Mixer to add to the video being recorded , instead of settling on the ugly Room ambience interferring with the Audio.Add a power-Pak , and avoid cables causing Public to trip over ,
