I got this in Lullaby to try to match my Becca lip liner in Blissful (RIP to Becca). The liner literally looks like my lip color just better but can be super drying on me. I was looking for something hydrating to go over top that would vine with the liner color & was in a compact tube for traveling with. FOUND IT!! This is surprisingly pigmented & very hydrating. This is perfect everyday lip color, but I would say it's a bit more raspberry than nude pink (like the description says). It's subtle enough for professional the settings, but certainly brighter than a nude. I thought it might look a bit matronly from the picture online, but it feels super young and energetic on (I'm 23 for reference). I find myself reaching for it practically every morning with every outfit. It goes on super smooth and silky, and has a very pleasant, subtle vanilla smell. It wears beautifully throughout the day, leaving my lips hydrated once it's rubbed off. Definitely transfers, but the product never claims to be long lasting or transfer proof. A little rubbed on the cheeks also makes for a beautiful just-back-from-the-gym glow.
This is my second review of this lip balm -- I loved the Runaway shade so much I used it all, and when I went to replenish I added a second color to my order.I am loving my second tube of Runaway just as much as my first, but I was surprised to find Heartbeats to be pretty drying! It's a lovely shade of red and I still find it more forgiving to apply than regular lipstick, but I had to demote it to once-in-awhile usage instead of every day. Maybe I'm sensitive to something in the Heartbeats pigment that's not in Runaway?I wonder if variation among the shades explains why some reviews say they find this hydrating and some say the opposite. For me, Runaway is the best product ever; Heartbeats is just okay.

I will say, the staying power isnât fantastic - even when it faded, I found there wasnât much of a stain left - but itâs a balm, so I didnât expect it to be super long-lasting. As somebody who loves skincare and makeup and tries a variety of brands and products (e.g. Burt's Bees, Buxom, The Body Shop, Blistex, Item Beauty, etc.), so far, this is truly the most hydrating lip balm I have tried. They wear the only lipstick I had found that didn't irritate my lips. I also loved the colors. They were just the right level of pigment and coverage with being too heavy. Alas, this is NOT a replacement for that product. It reminds me of every other tinted lip balm I've ever tried and then forgotten about as it drifted to the bottom of my purse forever. The color is totally generic. Really just meh. Maybe ok in an emergency but definitely not worth the money. Not abstract, very subtle and makes my lips feel smoothly great. Now in my other reviews I know you wanted a picture and I am prepared finally to provide it now. Thank you so flipping much for all my free samples. Yinz got some really good clean makeup that I'm more than happy to try. I'll definitely be buying more when I run out.
