Illy Classico Espresso Capsules 10 Pack

This is my favourite nespresso pod coffee. It can be quite pricey in UK shops ap I was very happy to find it on kaffekapslen at a decent price. Unfortunately I ordered the boxes in October, and they arrived with a best before end date of 30th November. It's not too bad as the pods keep really well but they won't be at their best by the time I finish my fourth box. Maybe that's why they were sold out almost straight after my order.

Better than Nespresso capsule

So far I tried original (red box) flavour and this one. Both flavours are outstanding! I personally enjoyed this brand over actual Nespresso capsule. Especially, it works well with Latte. It has unique bold, citrus, fruity scent + flavours!

Cafe quality espresso

Great coffee. Tastes like my americanos Inter at blue bottle (pre-Covid that is). Cute look too, the red capsules. Also this is the first auto delivery I’ve ever done (with any product) and wow, I’m super pleased with it!!!! Thanks Illy!!!! P.S. for my americanos (which i make using this more generic espresso machine), i heat up water in a kettle and I used two illy Classico capsules to make a “double shot” Americano. Put little hot water in mug and pour the two shots over it. Add a little half and half.

Excellent product, just slow shipping

Great coffee, some of the best I’ve ever had. My brother hates coffee unless it’s heavily sweetened, and even he loved it. I made him try it with just froth milk and he said it was excellent. So if even a non coffee drinker says this, you know it’s good

For Nespresso pod usage, Illy is simply the standard. Consistent good quality grounds and good packaging. Would like to see Illy have an alternative biodegradable capsule as an option.

Great coffee and easy monthly subscription.

We are serious espresso drinkers from Milano and we are big fans of Illy every morning. Ordering refills every month is a breeze and we use it in our Nespresso machine. Whenever we have had to contact customer service, they have been great. Our two suggestions are:1) Implementing a recycling program for the used capsules and 2) reducing costs by using lower quality package. Don't take me wrong, the silver boxes are beautiful but I would rather save money with recyclable, lower-cost packaging.

Illy capsules compatible with Nespresso machines

Love that Woolies has capsules available for Nespresso machines like the Illy products. Forte product produces a strong coffee, which is my favourite and the taste is superb. Would recommend the Illy range as great value for money.

Impulsively picked up a package of pods at eatily for my Nespresso and absolutely loved the flavor! So I bought a bunch more from the website! Delicious flavor. Smooth and rich. Not bitter or burnt. Perfect for my daily cappuccino. Superior to the other pods I’ve tried. The pods ive been using for years sit in the drawer as i find myself opting for the Illy every time! Buy some and enjoy!!

Smooth and Balanced - As good as any coffee house

The description on the box says "Mild and balanced", but I think a better description would be smooth and balanced. In my mind, mild meant that it would be weaker in flavor, so I was actually hesitant to buy it, but the espresso definitely wasn't lacking in flavor. It made for a very enjoyable latte.We have been Nespresso drinkers for over a decade, and while good, we've welcomed the new options that have come out recently. And out of all of them, Illy is the best and well worth the premium. My wife always comments that it takes exactly like what she expects at a nice coffee shop.Keep up the good work, and please add more options for your capsule family.

gone bad?

I was so excited to see these in store so I bought a few boxes… I’be had the Lungo 3 times and it is so insanely bitter tasting. I can barely drink it. Was it a bad batch? The pods don’t seem to poof at the top of the canister the way Nespresso brand and other brands do so maybe there is something wrong.
