My fussy adult children love this coffee. I prepared it as latte coffee with hot milk as I had run out of Nespresso pods and they liked it so much that the coffee machine is now used only for actual espressos and Illy for white coffee. High quality and worth every penny.

I love a good, strong filter coffee. I love the taste and the aroma. I thought I'd give this coffee a try, it is just like drinking a filter coffee, it has that real coffee taste, it's a great flavor and strong too so I find you don't heap a spoon of coffee. I own a tassimo and a normal filter machine and I normally buy Nescafe gold blend but I have now changed to illy. So if you want a great tasting coffee in an instant then look no further.

I agree with those reviewers who say that, for an instant coffee, this is one of the best available. However, if you don't drink instant very often you might want to bear in mind that for some reason the coffee becomes hard and undrinkable much more quickly than jarred coffee. I am not sure why, except that the lid doesn't seem very air tight.
I am so happy I found this brand of instant coffee. It's Italian style, very smooth, rich, and not bitter. Would be great if it became available in our local stores, since shipping by FedEx took longer than expected.
I’d bought the instant medium roast coffee. It was alright. Not spectacular or anything. Definitely better than the regular store instant coffee. But doesn’t quite pack the punch. Not as aromatic as I was hoping it to be. Still worth trying out.
I usually always buy the Lavazza instant but this was on special offer so I decided to try it. I regret that now. If somebody gave me a cup of this in a blind taste test I would not be able to tell it was from a premium brand like Illy, it tastes like a supermarkets attempt at copying a premium brand. Its just not very good and certainly not at that price. Quite acidic, lacking depth of flavour.
While many might be reluctant to use instant coffee (IC), I have always been an advocate of IC as long as I recall. Granted that most IC brands are subpar, there are some that are surprisingly impressive. That being said, Illy’s IC is one of them.Why do I drink IC ? And saving a fortune!! I think this is as good (for instant) as using a Nespresso machine. Worth the extra price, it?s got a bit of ?taste? but overall a mellow decent cup of coffee!
I have been an Illy fan for years and was happily surprised (or not) how good their freeze dried coffee is. I bought it for backpacking, but it's good for every day use. Just be careful how big a scoop you use - it get intense fast (big smiley face)
