After ushering in a new era of instant film, Impossible has taken another step towards a full revival of instant imaging with the creation of the I-1 Instant Film Camera. The first new camera in years to accept Polaroid 600-type instant film, the I-1 is a fresh take on a classic, offering the legendary format with advanced features and capabilities. For imaging, the camera relies on an 82-109mm lens with a 5-zone autofocus system. Depending on the zone, the focal length will fluctuate slightly. Of course, the changes are slight and composition is made easy with a removable pop-up optical viewfinder on the top of the camera. One of the signatures of classic Polaroid images is the flash, and the I-1 brings it to modern times with an advanced ring flash that offers twelve LEDs to illuminate your subject. For tactile control, the I-1 has physical lighten/darken and flash on/off controls to help dial in the appropriate exposures. For advanced techniques, the camera offers Bluetooth LE 4.0 connectivity for connecting to a smartphone or tablet. Using an iOS or watchOS device, photographers can take full control over the camera, including full manual operation, remote triggering, and even a variety of creative modes. Additionally, the camera has a built-in USB-rechargeable lithium-ion battery that allows it to work with I-type film that does not have a battery pack and it has a 1/4 inch-20 tripod thread on the base.

I have loved Polaroid cameras since I was younger. I still have my original Polaroid cameras from back then, minus the Polaroid I-zone camera (I miss that one! Wish they would do a come back). The fact that you can take a photo, have it print and develop before your eyes, it’s amazing! I have taken many photos of people that are sadly no longer here with us, and the fact that the photos of them will never be deleted like it would if it were on a fried hard drive, makes me extremely happy. Seeing those memories encapsulated in an instant film, gives me a sigh of relief.

In theory, this is a great product. An instant film camera I can control with an app on my phone? Yes please! I loved the idea of manual exposure, double expsoure, and long exposure. I felt I could live with the short battery life as a trade off for the perks. In reality, however, this camera falls far short of the mark. My camera took a long time to charge, even though it was straight out of the box and still sealed. I spent six + hours reading the directions, waiting to see if the camera would even be capable of accepting a full charge. I got off one shot that was focus-blurry when it was in the supposed focus range, and the rest of the shots that came out of the pack were black, no matter how I shot them. After one blurry shot and two black ones, the battery ... MoreIn theory, this is a great product. An instant film camera I can control with an app on my phone? Yes please! I tried all kinds of trouble shooting, all to no avail. Bottom line; don't buy this product, because despite the innovative features, it's not well-enough designed to remain functional for very long.

Ive bought two of these as gifts now. Love it, an absolute bargain. The app allows you to operate the camera remotely, create double exposures and add effects to the shots. There are so many different kinds of film its impossible not to create something fantastic.

Is a pretty great camera. Is not as big as I thought it was gonna be. Solid build quality. The image of the prints are what you expect for an instant camera. This would make for a perfect gift and the price is pretty affordable.
Came unopened and all new! Fantastisk
Just like the Polaroids i remember, but even better! Get instant prints, but much better quality control. My friends and family love taking pictures with it.
High spec , quality instant camera with bluetooth function!
This is my second I-1 Camera, a great value at current pricing vs. when these cameras were first released. Expectations were very high upon the launch of this, the first new camera to use IMPOSSIBLE instant film, I myself was hoping that this would be in the same caliber as the legendary SX-70 Land Cameras, but that was my mistake. The I-1 is a great camera with it's own set of nuances and once you get to know what these are you can make great pictures and enjoy this admirable effort to break new ground by the IMPOSSIBLE Project team.
Very nice to got this camera with equipment as you say. But there was 2 tiny, but important small screws lost! I hope you can send me or tell me were I can buy. Best regards Hans L.
I've used 3 film cartridges/24 pictures so far and have not been able to get one good photo out of all of those shots and the film is expensive. I do not recommend this camera to anyone!!
