The shoe was still one size too big after I followed their instructions of foot measurements. There’s no difference between their men’s and women’s shoes, as I was told by customer service. I was skeptical that this shoe wouldn’t fit my female foot, but the price was good so I thought I’d try it out. I was right; the heel box was too wide and shallow, and the instep was too high, therefore, had to lace the shoe tight. Men and women’s feet ARE anatomically different. We have wider hips which causes a difference in pressure load, our joints are more flexible, our lower limb bones are structured differently. I never checked out its performance due to the poor fit. Probably not gonna shop inov 8 again for these reasons.

Excellent shoe. I was really impressed. After about four or five wears I have noticed that the insoles slip back and leave a gap at the front of the shoe. I've read here on other reviews that the insoles are removable so that they can be replaced with others but I personally find the slippage quite inconvenient in a shoe of this price. I will probably look at gluing them down as a solution. Overall the shoe is really comfortable though and I found them great for CrossFit and other workouts. If I could solve the insole issue, they would be perfect.

I've used these for walking, running, and rowing. They're comfortable all around, especially compared to the other brands of barefoot shoes that I own. The shoe's construction appears to be durable for the time that I've had them. The toe box has plenty of room, and the laces stay tied with no issues. I ordered my regular size, and they fit perfectly. All around great shoe.

I love the look and style of this shoe. I love low profile soles too.My problem with this “natural or barefoot” design is that it gives my big toe a ridiculous amount of unnecessary room but cuts off space my smaller toes! My toes want naturally to aim forward and spread out a little but this shoe is angled in a way that my 3rd and 4th toes are crunched. (I have good looking feet. No unusual issues.)It’s like these shoes are made for “cross eyed “ feet that turn inwards.

OVERALL: These are great barefoot/natural/zero-drop gym shoes. I've only worn them for 3 weeks and I only wear them inside of the gym on smooth floors, so I can't speak to the durability or performance on tougher terrain, but I purchased these as basic gym shoes (rehab, weightlifting) that would be healthy for my natural foot structure and they seem great so far! These are my second pair of INOV-8 shoes, and I am happy with this brand (for running, hiking, gym, daily wear).STYLE: These are ugly shoes, in my opinion, and I hate seeing them in the mirror, but they FEEL right (I don't notice them when they're on!) and hit all the markers of a natural, good-for-your-feet shoe.SIZING: I have size 7.5, narrow, flexible feet with a high arch and I purchased a Women's ... MoreOVERALL: These are great barefoot/natural/zero-drop gym shoes. It fits, but it feels a little loose, especially on the sides of my foot.INSOLE: The inserts/insoles feel slightly better than other brands (Solomon, Altra, Hoka) but still cheap and flimsy. I will toss them out and swap for SOLE-brand inserts for better support.

Admittedly, I'm still working through my last pair of Bare XF from 2017 of heavy use... so I'm not wearing these just yet. I purchased these in anticipation of my current pair worn down soon(ish), and I always wanted the black + gum color combo (one gripe on my last pair was, despite how comfy and solid and durable it is, it wasn't that stylish for casual wear). I tried this pair on, and it seems stiffer than my current pear, possibly firmer. Expecting to soften up as I break it in over time. LOVE the gum soles.

These feel, at try-on, almost identical to my 235 v.2, so I love them; however, this review is coming from a tried-on-and-walked-around-the-house stance, not a trained-in stance.Pros:- wide toe box- 0 drop- gorgeous colorThey're so thin and light I felt like I was standing directly on the floor, but not in a bad way; I just felt very grounded and aware of the way my feet were positioned. If I could, I'd keep these too and rotate them around with the 245s, probably choosing these for workouts with running, rowing, or fast-cycling lifts. Maybe box jump workouts, too.

When I first wore the shoes they were absolutely perfect, super comfortable, I wore them for working out in the gym and they were light, bouncy, I absolutely loved them. But only after 1 week the insole started moving. After about 5 minutes of wearing them, the insole moves up the back of the shoe, up your heel, which leaves your toes hanging out over the front of the insole. VERY uncomfortable!! I can't go for a walk like that and even in the gym I need to take the shoe off several times and readjust the insole! I am now trying to find out how to glue the insole to the bottom of the shoe (trying to find out which glue to use!) to stop it from moving. A friend has the same shoe and has the exact same issue. I have been looking for a zero drop shoe so that I don't have to do squats and deadlifts in the gym with just socks. These fit absolutely perfect right out of the box. I am usually a womens 8 in sneakers and 7.5 in dress shoes. I bought the 210 V3s in size 8 and they are snug in all the right places and not too tight. My foot is a touch on the wider side. I appreciate that the shoe's sole is a little bit stiffer than other types of barefoot shoes because I believe they will last longer this way. However, the stiffness of the shoe does not limit feedback from the ground. The shoe is somehow a perfect balance between secure feeling and freedom of movement (I think the secure/planted feeling is because the upper it not knit and the sole isn't foam). Perfect shoes for weight training (and cute enough for running errands before or after a workout). I have been moving into heavier weights for my training, and my trainer suggested barefoot shoes so my feet have better contact with the floor, and I'm in the correct posture. I used to wear inov-8's for running (I quit running ... not the shoes) so I am familiar with the brand and philosophy. I have always appreciated the wider toe box, heel drop, etc. So when I went looking for barefoot shoes for weight training, inov-8 was my first stop. The shoes are super comfortable and my trainer is really happy with my body posture, the flexibility of the shoes, and my connection to the floor when lifting. When I was first fitted for them in running, I ended up buying an 8.5 which is what I got in these shoes as well. I ordered an 8 and 8.5, and kept the bigger size for a bit more room at the toes.
