Excellent product, packaged efficiently and does what is written on the package. Lanolin is an excellent lubricant for threads, tow balls and other equipment requiring a light touch.

Good product for restoring and protecting clips on dog leads, however very disappointed could not get the plastic nozzle tube attached (hence 3 stars). Does not seem to fit nozzle meaning a less targeted spray, more wastage and more over my hands. Warning: does smell like a sheep farm.

Best lubricant and rust preventative for outboards etc. Doesn’t set properly though if you want to use it for underbody rust protection for 4x4s. I’d use Lanotec for 4x4 chassis and body’s as it sets to more of a skin and doesn’t hold the dirt like this does. None the less an exceptional product, way better than WD-40 for lubrication or mechanical components in my opinion

This is a Brilliant Product And ive been using a Similar product for the last Few years.How ever this is a Different Brand and I have no Hesitation in it quality and Performance.Price point could be a Bit cheaper as The product is Brilliant however the right pricing will have More people giving it a Go And Repeat customers.Brilliant on a Light spray on Workshop tools Including Garden type tools That are Prone To Surface Rust Including My Machinery.
Great product I apply this after a good 4wd undercarriage wash. Help to avoid corrosion from a beach trip. It leaves a great shining to surfaces. I sometimes apply it also before a beach trip but is definitely better not to do it to close to the trip as you will get sand sticking to it, leave it dry for a good week or two.I have only seen a tiny minimal signs of corrosion after using this in the last 3-4 years with 15 - 20 beach trips and that's is because I'm very picky.
Found it hard to spray evenly using the nozzle, either over sprayed or nothing. Needs some practice to press down on the vavle at consistent pressure and move can along the chain or track that requires lubrication. Long term effectiveness yet to be determined.
Lanox is the "go to" product for farmers on equipment and I now use it on the black alloy of my caravan. Makes it look like new. A great protective coating. Spray on and wipe over, then a light buff which leaves no sticky residue.
This product is excellent for overall protection of outboard motors before heading out on to the ocean. Use before every trip to prevent corrosion and inhibit moisture and water penetration.
I purchased this product quite some time ago when it was just called Lanox and refused to give it a review because it was too early to know its capabilities compared to what I wanted to purchase and had previously purchased from SCA. Over time I decided that the quality was not as good but it did work for what I wanted it to do! The final nail in the coffin came when the can was half used and it lost pressure requiring disposal. I have now found the better stuff I wanted to buy elsewhere.

I've used MX4 Lanox for years and found that it's light enough to wick into small spaces, yet the lanolin provides actual lubrication and protection when it has penetrated. That's what a real "general purpose" lubricant should do. Thicker lubricants tend to stay on the surface, while solvents like WD40 soak through but don't offer any lubrication. MX4 only has a subtle lanolin smell that isn't offensive at all, which makes it perfect for household use. Probably would also be good for a quick 4WD underbody protection, although Lanotec products have more lanolin content and are the best choice for that job.
