I like this product it stays oily and protects metal. It is a good automotive lubricant I use when assembling engine parts etc. I prefer over WD40 which is actually Water Displacement 40 WD40 dries out after a while. WD has it's uses but the INOX is a better oily thicker lubricant.

Inox is not just a water disperser and lubricant, it's uses are so varied you can do away with your WD40, Silicone Spray and anything else of that nature. An example of its versatility is it ability to be used for things like engine bay detailing. Spray this onto items under your bonnet and it brings back lustre and shine but without attracting dust like the traditional silicone sprays as it dries and does not wash away with water. It made my engine bay look like a new car!
So much better, Aussie made, no kero smell, foams when applied easy to see where & how much, doesn't run or drip, brings old plastic to like new, waterproof protection to help stop corrosion.
Restoring a ~200 year old wooden chest with rusted and seized up hinges. I tried soaking them in a container of WD40, nothing, soaking in vinegar (which got the surface rust off), nothing. Took the hinges into Bunnings and the staff member put them in a vice and used a crowbar to open them (with great difficulty). He sold me this spray and was very confident it would loosen them up. I was skeptical but he had no doubt. Well, what a fantastic product that has made these incredibly old hinges work like new again within hours. I am completely amazed and so happy I can use the original hinges in my restoration. Could not recommend this stuff more AND it's cheaper than WD40!

Gen 4 Pajeros can have a problem with the rear handle not activating. the mechanism on the cargo door. Removing the interior from the door is painful experience. Armed with a can of lube and long straw I managed to thread the straw through to the mechanism. Spraying it again a day later with no improvement. Determined not to remove the trim I purchased a can of Inox MX3. Two days of spraying freed the mechanism. It's now on my representative maintenance list.
Best spray to prevent metal corrosion when storing tools. Also great sprayed on aluminium when drilling, tapping and machining so the soft aluminium does not stick to the cutting edge.Thicker and oilier than WD40, so does not evaporate. WD40 is a great penetrating fluid for stuck and rusted bolts, but does not lubricate and protect steel from rusting like MX3 does.
I have been spraying Inox MX3 Lubricant on my Outboard Engine, galvanised trailer, Jet ski motor, fishing reals and in generally around the house on hinges and locks for years. Its safe to use on all your electrical components as it wont swell up the seals. It prevent corrosion. I go through at least a couple of cans each year. I prefer Inox Lubricant rather other products on the market because I've been told it wont damage electrical items. After washing down your water craft allow it to dry. Generally the next day I spray (flood) Inox on everything mechanical. Over the past Nine years I have had no issues with this product. I guess it works.
