I have 3 instant pots, but wanted an extra insert because i use them so often! I bought this one and love it way more than the inserts the instant pots come with! I don’t have any issues with things sticking to the pot, it doesn’t leave residual marks after it’s been washed either

Ceramic Non Stick 8 Qt

Bought the second Ceramic Non Stick Inner Pot 8 QT to use for items that will stick to the inner stainless steel. Have a large Rice Cooker that I have had for over 30 years purchased in Calgary China Town. It is still working awesome. LOVE it. We have all sizes of Pressure cookers that my husband, mother in law, as well as close friends love using. I will not us one as I am afraid of blowing up the kitchen. So when my husband bought me my Instant Pot 18 Months ago I looked at it with dread was on awesome price in Vancouver Island, B.C. Canada. Now I do like my Instant For 8 Quart. Have used it for different thing. Always experimenting.

Convenient Non-Stick Inner Pot

This inner cooking pot works really well in my 6 quart Instant Pot. The only drawback to this pot is that it doesn't have a handle to lift it out of the Instant Pot. So when you try to take it out you have to tilt it to the side to get your hand under the upper lip of the inner pot. If you have hot liquids in the pot that can be a problem.

Instant Pot Ceramic Insert

Disappointed with this nonstick pot. The ceramic coating is quite thin and easily scratches, revealing a white base underneath. I am very careful when cleaning and use proper utensils. I only use my instant pot to make bone broth, and it seems the bones have scratched the interior while cooking gently on slow cook setting. Wish they could make a nonstick pot that is more durable. Not worth the purchase in my opinion.

Less sticking, cooked meal with even heat.

Cooked rice for sushi. It became more authentic cooked rice, goes well with donburi. Ceramic coating gave more even heat circulation. Hope coating will hold for a long time. Don't use metallic ladle, rice scoops or cooking tools.

Love it

Worth every penny. I've used it for oatmeal so far and it sticks on the bottom a bit but cleans off easily. With the stainless steel pot, it sticks like crazy and you almost need a sand blaster to get it clean. I like it very much for "delicate" things like oatmeal and rice. I like that it's ceramic coated instead of Teflon (PTFE) so there's no Teflon scraping off into my food over time. Fits perfectly in the 6 qt. Instant Pot Duo Gourmet that I got at Costco.

Much Easier To Clean Than The Stainless Pot & Fits Perfectly!

This non-stick pot is much easier to clean/cook in then the stainless steel pot that comes with the Instant Pot pressure cooker. I honestly don't know why the manufacturer doesn't give the buyer the non-stick pot and LID (using slow cook method) when purchasing the cooker, instead of us having to purchase these items separately. Cleanup is simple and easy. I just put soap and hot water in the non-stick pot, let it sit for a few minutes and wash it out. The 6 qt pot fits perfectly in my 6 qt Instant Pot. I am now happy and loving my Instant Pot!

Nice additional/spare inner pot, at a good price.

It's great to use for yogurt, as a second pot to store yogurt in while it chills. Great for rice and starchy foods. I'd recommend this as a second liner, or for practically any food except when you're searing meats. Some owners have said it takes longer for the Instant Pot to heat up using this ceramic coated pot compared to the stainless steel one. But I haven't noticed any difference using it in a 3qt Duo Mini. Or Lux mini. Good fit and finish. Instant Pot customer service is great. They really stand behind their products. I highly recommend Instant Pot brand and its products. WalMart fills orders much faster than the IP Store can ship things from Canada. Parts and accessories for Instant Pots are a nice addition to WalMart's line.

Not a true non stick coating

I specifically bought this for it being non stick so I could make rice and not deal with a caked mess. I previously had made rice with the pot it came with and it stuck so I bought this. Well I used it yesterday and guess what, it stuck. Additionally there is a weird chemical smell when it’s hot. Not pleased at all. I feel like I wasted money on this. Every other rice maker I’ve ever used never had an issue with sticking. Won’t recommend this to anyone.

Somewhat lighter weight than original pot, but works well

The non-stick pot is particularly useful for warming up foods that may have a tendency to stick. It is not as heavy as the stainless steel pot that comes with the device. In particular, it lacks the thick steel bottom of the regular pot. However, I have warmed, slow-cooked and pressure-cooked with the non-stick pot and have had no difficulties. Also, I like having a second pot for times when the other is in use or occupied with food storage in the refrigerator. The interior surface of the non-stick pot appears to be quite durable. On separate occasions I have placed the metal steaming trivet and a metal colander inside and have noticed no scratches. True to expectations, it cleans easily.
