Good performance, for gaming don’t need anything more expensive. Perfect pairing with RTX 4070ti. I personally find intel CPUs to be more stable compared to AMD variants.

Best CPU in this price range. Performance wise is between 12th generarion i7 and i9, but with reduced price. Probably best Intel processor for most users.

Seems like a very decent PSU, can cope with a 13600K and an RTX 4090 (non-overclocked) without issues. Would recommend the brand and model (so far). Will update if anything changes.

This processor is beastly for the price point. Don't let the i5 designation fool you - this processor will do absolutely everything you want it to do unless you work in a field where the higher core counts of the i7 and i9 are necessary. If you aren't sure whether you need the extra cores, then you don't. For Joe Schmos like me, the 13600k is a great value and an excellent performer. A couple tips: 1. Look into custom mounting brackets, as these can lower the operating temperature. Using these can be tricky, but it's worth it. 2. Consider setting a limit on the turbo, otherwise it will run at 184W at all times when under load. This is not usually necessary, the 125W non-boost limit is already great performance, and it will pull 184W for short periods for sudden ... MoreThis processor is beastly for the price point. Air cooling should be enough to keep it cool, but make sure you get a high-end unit! Cheap-but-good won't be enough for the heat this workhorse produces.
Performance of the CPU is solid and lightning fast, however the significant increase in power draw and resultant heat (even with well rated 240mm AIO setup) from previous generations is a notable downside. Can't comment on OC but given temps currently, I'd be avoiding it where possible.
This is a great processor, the only pain point was not realising the motherboard I'd purchased (MSI Mortar B660M DD4) didnt support the 13th gen Intel chip without an update, which is easier to say than do when you're buying everything new and don't gave a spare LGA1700 processor to update the BIOS.My recommendation for purchasing it would be to either 1) wait until the motherboards support 13th gen out of the box, 2) make sure you buy a motherboard that can update the bios without a CPU installed, 3) buy it if have a spare compatible CPU lying around that you can use (I ended up buying a pentium gold G7400 which made me feel dirty and I'd probably have been better off spending that extra money on a better motherboard as it was only out of its box for about 5 minutes)
Fantastic CPU for gaming. I used to go overkill on cpus but this will be perfect for most builds, especially at higher resolutions.
I had many temperature issues at start with this CPU, but after undervaluing and some AI tweaks on B760I ASUS board, i could've better benchmark scores on low temperatures. Before UV : 23300 Score - 100 Degree Throttling on full cooling speed (AIO)After UV : 24600 Score (Cinebench R23) 82 Degree Maximum Temp.If you are thinking about which is better for you in comparison with AMD Ryzen 7700X, I would recommend the 13600K More, since I already tried both CPUs and I am much impressed by Intel i5 13600K.
incredibly fast bundle. Built and tested ready to drop into my new case. Was all up and running in a few hours. Had to call tech support because the wifi module was mis assembled. They were helpful but eventually i decided to totally strip the computer down to realign the wifi pcb. Assembling with the water cooler attached is awkward.
My new computer is such a refreshing experience. Everything opens almost instantly. 10 second boot time, all apps feel extremely snappy and responsive.
