Incredibly fast, priced fairly, and worth every penny. Highly recommend to anyone looking to build a high-end rig.
I had to spend an entire day figuring out how to get temperatures under control even with a 360mm AIO this thing will run in Autoconfiguration from the bios to pull max power 253+ watts at 100C depending on the game you are playing or what you are doing. I finally found a video that explained to me what was going on. I adjusted my PL1/PL2 limits from 253/253 to 145/253 and I went from a cinebench score of 35,000 100C thermal throttle to 31,000 63C all core temp average. This is already a lot of information for an average user and I had no idea or was even aware of all of this information prior to purchase but I recommend giving this video a look over instead of running the CPU at 100C thermal throttled on the regular.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LnzDawjBcPM&t=11s

FAST!!! Took back my i9-13900K since it was still under the return period as a total tech member, and purchased this i9-1400K.
Like the title says, this is a 13900ks renamed. It is fast and runs hot. Paired with my Asus z690, haven't had any issues yet. Runs smoothly.
I like Intel so I pre-purchased the processor. Ended up returning it after hearing about some reviews. If you really need Intel, get the cheaper 13900k. For me, I went with the AMD 7800X3D for my gaming rig rebuild.
Upgrading from a 9900k I underestimated how big of an upgrade this would be. With the same 3080 I’ve noticed tremendous FPS gains, faster loading times in general day to day use, and all the other general things you would expect from a good upgrade. Paired with an EKWB 360 AIO the temps are incredibly manageable. Temps stay around 60-65c and occasionally spike to 70c if my room is hot. This is with the pre-applied thermal paste from the AIO and without the thermal grizzly lga1700 mounting plate.Overall it’s very easy to give this a 5 star rating. I’m very pleased with the very noticeable difference in performance and with its temperatures.
