Intex Easy Set Pool 2419 Liters

This has been one of the most worst purchasing experiences of my life. I received this pool 2 weeks ago. The description stated it came with the pump. The price is not good without the pump. After several emails with pictured documentation, price comparisons etc., the manufacturer finally apologized for the item description being wrong and wrote I’d heat from Wayfair shortly. Several days later I got an email from Wayfair asking if I still needed help. This should be a case study on how not to treat customer. I’m packing it up the pool and sending it back because without the pump the price is much higher than buying it from another company. I have spent hours just trying to get this straightened out. False advertisement!!! The description clearly states the pump is included with this purchase. It is stated both in the description and the specifications yet it is NOT included. When reaching out to anyone and everyone both at Wayfair and the manufacturer they both state that it is not. I guess we are to assume that anything you purchase from Wayfair may or may not include what is advertised on their website. They want to act like Im uneducated or cannot comprehend what I read. In no way shape or form does it say that this pump is NOT included. Yet they want to act like Im stupid and tell me it say it is not. DO NOT purchase this if you expect it to include everything it says it does.

this pool is exactly as I expected after reading the description. the sides are soft and slipped inward, and you blow up the top ring to keep the sides up as it inflates. I was hesitant because some reviewers complained about needing a pump, but assuming you are expecting a larger than normal kiddie pool, there is no need to buy a pump. they include in the package black plugs that fill in the holes where one would put a pump. I think the purpose of having a pump would be to keep the water circulating. Bought this for the kids over the summer, found the flattest part of the garden and started to fill it, 5 hours later it was sufficiently full. Seemed quite sturdy considering the grass wasnt completely level. I purchased the rain cover and cleaning tablets with the pool and it kept it relatively clean and clear. The inflatable ring around the top of the pool did not stay inflated however it didnt really effect the use of the pool, in fact it made it easier for my kids to climb in and out with it deflated. After about a month and a half of use the water eventually turned green so had to be emptied. Unfortunately during the emptying the seal around the valve split and the pool flooded my garden. In hindsight a smaller pool that can be filled an emptied on the hot days is a much better option over this pool. Yeah its nice to be able to hop in and out on a whim but realistically its not warm enough to warrant keeping an unheated pool.

This pool is huge. Only the top bit inflates, the rest you have to fill with water. It is sturdy, material is definitely hard wearing. The kids love it.We wouldnt buy again. Actually we have had it a couple of weeks and I want a new one that is smaller. We have never managed to fill the whole thing up, it takes sooooo long to fill it to enough water that the kids can get in. I think it is supposed to be a permanent pool, with a filter etc, not what we bought it for. We accidentally had it on a pebble while it was very full...kids could feel it through the material, i managed to partially lift it and remove the stone which was sharp and should have burst the pool...it didnt. Its robust material for sure. You will need a filter unless you want to spend hours emptying and refilling every day. We bought a cover which heats the pool mildly making it go from maybe 5 to 1c we bought a chlorine pool floater thing for over night which smells like a swimming pool so must work.All in all its a great pool, but not for us in England who get 4 days of consecutive sun every 200 days and need to empty out grass and dead bugs each day.

Its is easy to install and is a great hit with my grandchildren. The pool is good, but be aware it is the tip of the iceberg given all the other bits and pieces you might want to consider. You need to put it on a flat piece of ground. I had a small patio area I thought was ideal but of course we always lay patios with a small slope to drain the water. So 20 sharp sand to level the base. Groundsheet to go next to protect the pool. Then set up the pool, real easy actually and you need a small hand pump to inflate it not included. You will definitely want a cover. And chlorine tablets and a small floaty dispenser and test strips to make sure the water has the right pH balance and chlorine levels etc. . It is just a tad more than 30 More like 250 plus 35 a day heating costs. Still great fun.

Ok so this is great value for money.Its deeper than I expected and would be so much fun for kids.It was so easy to put up that I thought i was doing it wrong.There are some major downside though.1. You can get loads of added extras with this pool that I didnt get. The instructions assume that you have them. So I spent 20 mins rummaging around looking for parts that I thought i was missing.2. The pool is so deep, the water was and remained freezing. It was freezing for days . Even though we were having a heatwave in may. The kids wouldnt go in and it was so cold I could barely put my arm in to pull the plugs out. We have just over a 1 inch slant, which goes against manufacturers advice to place on an absolutely flat surface. It copes well considering and only leans very, very slightly with more water pressure on the wall to the lower end evident by the wall being slightly more upright than the higher end.Thick, sturdy pool lining. A nonslip floor which is very reassuring to my non water confident wife.I would adhere to manufactures advice of placing on level ground as my very slight slant is evidence enough of what instability can occur. I think Ive just about got away with it.A very good quality product and highly recommend it.Update after 1 month its taken a fair bit of punishment but is still amazingly steadfast. Brilliant.

A foot pump takes for some time to inflate the ring, which then deflate slightly quite quickly with just exposure to the sun. We had a quicker result with an electric pump. We emptied and cleaned after use, then stored. Next time we put it up it already had a hole in the main area. We patched that one. As weather turned bad, we again emptied, cleaned and stored. Third time, there was a hole in the ring so the only part that inflates was not We patched that hole too and managed to keep it up for another 3 days. I wait to see what other holes we get next time we have a heat wave. Also, in case they prove to be as sturdy as expected the Intex pools offer addon options and accessories like a cover and perhaps a filter at a later stage. Moreover the reviews were good. I was tempted to order the larger and higher 8feet pool, but as we have limited outside space it seemed wiser to stick to the smaller 6feet variant.The pool came neatly presented in a a 60 x 40 x 12 cm box, this is important as it implies there pool doesnt require too much storage space also given that only the top ring is inflatable, this pool is easy to deflate and subsequently easy to fold in a compact manner. Included are 3 filterhole plugs 1 spare that youll have to put in place if you lack this accessory. There is also a filter connection part that remains unused in my case for now. Youll have to make sure you place the pool on a level area and on a floor cover. We already had a collection of inter lockable rubber playgym mats on which we placed the pool to have a soft seating and to protect the bottom. Then youll have to inflate the top ring, for this a nonelectrical pump is advised. In order to spare me the effort of finding our pump, I just inflated it by mouth, which took less than 2 minutes and a few deep breaths. During the early stages of filling with water youll then have to make sure to straighten out the bottom mat of the pool. All in all, the set up is less burdensome than a full inflatable childrens pool. However, filling the pool with water took about 40 minutes and a lot of water be aware that these Intex pools require a substantial quantity of water as they are 2x to 3x as deep as the average inflatable garden pool for young children. So there is a cost to that, and in times of severe drought you may be reprimanded by you neighbours for putting such pool in place.Nevertheless the outcome was very satisfying. Its is really nice and even a luxury also for grown ups to have a reasonably deep pool outside during hot weather. Its very refreshing for dad to cool down and enjoy a beer in the sun. And the children have a lot of fun with it every day when the weather allows.Most importantly the material of this Intex pool is of high quality, it is made of thick layers plastic that can endure some wild childrens water play. Even the inflatable top ring seems much more durable than a traditional childrens pool.The only drawback is that is lacks standing sides and a supportive top ring. So you cant really relax and hang on the sides as you will push it down and the water will flow out. Similarly, when our youngest, 6year old enters the pool he will lean on the top ring for support, but this will cause water to flow out.We have already bought a cover that will keep the water clean and that helps to heat it up a little, I keep this in lace with ratchet straps. Ive also ordered a somewhat treacherous but affordable pool heater, well see how that works out. The next step would be an investment in an Intex filter. In the mean time Im looking into adding a wellmeasured amount of chemicals to the water to keep it clean for more than two days we live in a hardware area and after a couple of days of intensive play the water gets milky and unclear.But overall, very, very pleased with this pool. Highly recommended.
