I have bought this after acquiring few phone holders before and I must say that this is by far the best I have ever used. I did my research before purchasing. It does not vibrate much whilst driving. It is of very good quality and has an adjustable length. I love that I can mount this in the middle of the dashboard and run the wire neatly.I bought this for my wife and she loves it and I think this is one of the best phone out there. Will definitely buy another one for my work car.

Purchased this in store on a road trip through NYC - great experience. Attached it to the windshield and it holds very well. I have a Pixel 6 Pro with a case, which may be one of the largest phones out there and it holds it fine. The one touch feature allows me to pop it into the holder very easily and it's not fallen out after several thousand miles of travelling. Will probably get another one for our other car.

When I picked the iOttie I knew that I technically had a couple options since it’s for dash or windshield, I wasn’t sure initially which would work. I needed it for a newer Mazda3, the screen is a major factor in dash space but the windshield is also very difficult to maximize use of a mount. I was able to install on the dash, to the right of my screen so it holds my phone in the same region but doesn’t impair my visibility. The install was so easy, while I didn’t need the instructions I did glance them over and they were clear and easy to understand. This is the best phone mount I’ve ever had, I’m so glad I finally discovered what I had been missing!!!
This is so close to perfect -- I think it will live up to the top reviews for almost everyone. The connection to the car, the adjustments and gimbel and mechanism, these all work great! But it does not quite work out-of-the-box for my iPhone SE (2016) in a slim case, nor I suspect for the iPhone 12/13 mini: the jaws don't quite get close enough to each other to fully grip such a small phone. A fraction of an inch closer would do it -- so I'll stick some padding (like a little bit of weatherstipping) to the inside of the jaws which I'm sure will do the trick (and would still let this work with any larger phone, too). But without this mod, my iPhone SE (2016) falls out if I take a sharp turn at 20mph or brake slightly suddenly.
So far so good. I docked 1 star because, having only used it for a few weeks, I can't attest to the product's longevity. Having said that...It's a wonderful product. It's so easy to mount and dismount my phone (iPhone 12 mini, for reference, it fits perfectly). The suction cup adhered securely to the dashboard in my car so I didn't need to use the dashboard disc. It was quick and easy to install. The telescopic and pivot knobs are well thought out. I love that I can fine tune the position if need be to eliminate glare on the phone. And what a relief, when using GPS, to have the phone in an easily viewable position so I can keep my eyes on the road. I travel a lot for work so this was totally worth the cost.
Excellent item. The suction cup creates an *extremely* strong bond, with the assistance of the adhesive applied to it. The arm can be flipped a full 180 degrees (or even a bit more), and can be extended and retracted, meaning that the arm can effectively be very short or very long. The snap-to-close mechanism is clever and works wellMy only complaint is that the arms that open the grip are a bit awkward to use. I'm sure there's some better way to design the opening system.This is about the best traditional grip-style dash-mounted or windshield-mounted system I can imagine.

I actually bought one of these from Amazon a year or so ago when i got my new (to me) car! This stand is the only one i will ever buy. I needed a second one for a trip, urgently so i went to Microcenter, and when i saw this model, no sales pitch was needed, i grabbed it right away!Why is this one so good? It is easy to put the phone in the stand one handed, and can also be taken out one handed. There is a quality-of-life magnetic wrap to put around your cable, so that you do not have to fish it from the floor of the car when you get in, super convineint!
