I have been a lover of Issey Miyake since it was first released. I still buy it now. But since the original..so many more different scents and different varieties have followed. Bleue is a very different kind of fragrance. It has quite a kick. At first it is almost over powering.. but give it 10 minutes, and what you have is the most alluring scent. I know with all Issey miyake fragrance that at first they are all very powerful. But wait and let it do its thing.. and the whole experience changes. I am a bit of a baster when it comes to fragrance.. i go silly..but after 20 minutes I can't smell anything.. but everywhere I go I get complemented or ask what is that Heavenly scent you are wearing. My husband and I were shopping a couple years ago and trying new fragrances and as soon as he caught a whiff of this on me he practically RAN for the checkout And I was right behind himI had been wearing Philosophy amazing Grace for years and I still love that and this has a very light crisp clean scent that you will probably enjoy if you too are a fan of Amazing Grace but it is more of a floral and Id say a bit more sophisticated and sexy. If youre an Amazing Grace girl at the office this is probably something youll enjoy for date night. But honestly I wear it nearly exclusively now. Its not too much for daytime or work in the least. I really think youll love it. We both do. I get stopped all the time by both men and women to ask what Im wearing. I do wish it lasted a bit longer as I saw another reviewer mention but I still have to give it 5 stars. I love it that much I also love that there is a refill available for the cute bottle at a really good price. And the rollon is fantastic for travel. To me this is still a great fragrance! I agree with most people who consider this more of a greener fragrance than a blue fragrance, even though the title and the bottle are blue. You can definitely smell the lime and rosemary in the opening. I do prefer the dry down as it's much better with that cypress and ginger. I still think it's a unique fragrance and I still haven't smelled anything like this. Performance is pretty decent.
