My 1 year old American Staffy was reacting to everything she ate and breaking out in rashes left, right and centre/shedding excessively all over the place for about a month, so we decided to give Ivory Coat a try. Within a week, her shedding came down to something normal and her skin irritations had cleared up. She'd lost the redness in her eyes and just overall looks MUCH healthier and is more active as a result. We were prepared to fork out for other brands such as Hills or Royal Canin but really wanted to give something home grown a shot first, and I'm very happy we did. Not only has the food been great for pup's overall health and well being, but we also get to support a hard working Australian business in the process too. Win/win!

GSD suffers from yeast build up, originally was on Blackhawk for 3 years, months of trial and error with other brands promoting grain free, changed to raw feed was not affordable for the amount of food she eats. Finally found this and never looking back. Absolutely loves the fish and 3 weeks in and no crazy scratching for hours!! 1000% recommend this product.

My King Charles Cavalier cross Tibetan Spaniel likes this flavour. She used to eat Instinctive Bite salmon flavour, but it is discontinued. So only likes fish flavoured dog food, so I am happy other companies do fish flavours. It's only been a few days, but she is eating them happily and no tummy upsets. The only reason I gave four stars is there is no indication of percentage of fish. I don't think it's as high as Instinctive Bite which was 70% salmon, but still high enough to be healthy and nice flavour.

I'm very glad to see an 8kg size bag. I have been buying the 13kg bags for my small dog as it was better value for money than frequently buying the 2kg size. Pet Circle delivery to metro areas is super quick as always. Thank you so much for your excellent service!
Our dog has gut problems and this product was originally fish only. It worked brilliantly for him. Seems to be ok since they added beef to the formula. We shall see. At least there's a guarantee of no chicken which is his worst problem. Can we get bags that can be recycled please.
I have a few points to mention about this product. I had to give it 1 star as it wouldn't let me post without giving it a star but this product for me deserves no stars. 1. My dog threw up and has had diarrhoea for several days since starting this product. It's the only change to his food I have made so I know this product is what has caused him to be sick. 2. Ivory Coat is not an Australian company as stated in the info section. They were an Australian company until a couple of years ago when they were sold to Real Pet Foods which is a Chinese company. I wanted to buy Australian so this was very misleading information. 3. If you google Ivory Coat there is a lot of information and reviews about this food making dogs sick and alerts have been issued warning about ... MoreI have a few points to mention about this product. If you google Ivory Coat there is a lot of information and reviews about this food making dogs sick and alerts have been issued warning about this product. Now I thought I did my research but had I read these alerts I would never have purchased this product and I would've saved my boy from being sick. I ordered 4kg and only used about 1kg the rest has been thrown in the bin. I'm not saying that this product will make your dog sick but it made mine sick and I wanted to post this review to let others know.
I started feeding my dog this product, only change I made to her diet and my dog got really sick with vomiting and diarrhea. Stopped feeding this and she went back to normal. Be very careful with this product, after a quick search I found many people with the same problem and worse!
I have been using this product for years and they have recently changed packaging and when I purchased two packets with the new packaging I noticed in the ingredients that they had added beef pulp. Not taking much notice I gave it to my dog and straight after he vomited it all up. I have sent the two packs back to request for a refund. I tried to calll ivory coat but no one returned my call.
I have a 7y/old choc lab retriever, rehomed to me in Feb 2020; it turned out she had 'environmental allergies'. By a process of elimination I've removed all animal meat products from her diet until her protein source was fish, then was recommended to get her off all grains too. My girl is now on Ivory Coat grain free Salmon & Ocean fish as her basic food + occasional steamed fish & winter vegs added for taste/texture variety. This diet plus a daily antihistamine keeps 95% of her allergies in check; vast improvement & worth the extra cost rather than ongoing monthly medication or needles. We are both very happy!
We always have ivory coat salmon or the lamb and sardine for my 3 years old staffy. When we adopted him, he had skin dermatitis conditions that we need to find out. I have tried so many grain free food and even air dried raw food but this one is the best! My dog loves it that he can eat it just on its own (without wet food). Apart from the benefits of grain free and complete balanced nutrition, what I loved the most is that my dog's coat has improved and we don't have any concern any more when it comes to his skin. Also, since it is high in omega 3, my staffy's coat is really shiny. I am so happy with Ivory coat dog food and I will definitely keep on re-purchasing it. I have also tried the chicken with coconut and my staffy is still loving it.
