Brilliant earbuds... if you only want to listen to music

I'm afraid these just did not work for me, based on all the marketing and other reviews these earbuds should have been brilliant, but I found that the one area that let them down was in using them for voice calls. You may think 2 stars is harsh for failing in one category, but I feel that being able to use these earbuds for making and receiving voice calls to be a major part of their job.I liked the earbuds, and wanted to them to be good. The design and feel and fit of them was perfect, very light, nicely shaped. The audio playback from them was brilliant, sounds & music came through nice and clear, and receiving voice calls I could hear the other person perfectly. And this was with me using them in a quiet room connected to an iPhone with no background noise whatsoever. Strangely when used to record voice memo's, or used on a PC with Teams & Zoom they were perfect and my voice came through very clear, they just did not work properly when used for traditional phone calls. Researching after the fact, and there are a number of complaints on the same subject.I'll be returning these as not fit for purpose.

Good, but not great

Before these I had the Jabra Elite 75t for about 18mths, and they were a good set. Didn't quite fit exactly in my left ear, but good enough for ANC, and could be worn for hours. Just not that great for voice calls inside noisy machinery or environments. The righthand earpiece died a few weeks ago.I got the Elite 7 Pro thinking it would be a better iteration, but I'm not overly impressed by them, especially for the price. Sound is good, and multipoint works well. One good thing is I can at least use one OR the other now, not like 75t.Issues I've had:1. They're a similar physical size and shape to 75t, which were comfy for hours at a time in my ears, but not these. Go figure.3. Not any better for voice calls in a noisy environment than the 75t. Things are meant to get better as we progress... but that doesnt apply here. Look elsewhere if this is important to you.

Onto the buds themselves, they're also magnetically attached inside the case - they're incredibly small and light at just 5.4g each.Setup was straightforward - downloading the Sound+ app first, which guides you through bluetooth pairing with the headphones, and installs any firmware updates. You can connect the earbuds to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously with Multipoint and I found this worked flawlessly.The app is full-featured and lets you customise every aspect of how the earbuds work. From EQ settings (you get a series of presets to try and you can also create/save your own), to inbuilt white noise playback in 'soundscape' for deep focus/sleep sessions, to customising the amount of ANC you hear, vs the HearThrough function for hearing the environment around you whilst listening. You can even customise the way the earbud buttons work, as well as how you want yourself to sound when you use them for calls.In terms of fit and feel, they were initially a little unusual to fit (being familiar with another popular brand of 'pro' headphones), but you have to kind of twist them into your ear like a corkscrew. They fit well, there's no danger of them falling out, and yet you barely even notice they're there - I can't overstate how light these are! These would work well for listening during running/yoga, or any kind of active sport.The ANC is very impressive, and enhanced by the way the earbuds sit in your ear. I found the sound profile suited mid/bass heavy tracks with some tinny-ness creeping in for treble-heavy music at high volumes.For a good quality set of wireless buds that won't break the bank, the Elite 7 Pros are a strong recommendation.

Great for music. Horrible for calls.

I needed a pair of earbuds for taking calls on my cell (work: Samsung S22; personal: Google Pixel 6) as well as when I'm on my laptop using Zoom and MS Teams. I have a Jabra Evolve 65 headset that works well but os bulky, so after doing research online and seeing the Elite 7 Pro was meant for calls, I purchased them.They were great for listening to audio and I enjoyed the features that were available to customize the audio experience on the Jabra Sound+ app.But they absolutely failed for taking calls through either phone (tried both) or connected to the Windows laptop. The packaging these buds came in was very smart, neat and compact. A good quality, if rather short USB C charging cable is included neatly packaged with 2 sets of additional sized earbuds which are also well packaged in a resealable plastic sleeve.The buds case feels well-made and compact with a status LED light on the outside just above the USB C charging port, although I have yet to use this as the case has wireless QI charging. The buds sit nicely in the case, held securely in by magnets. The buds themselves are extremely comfortable and well-fitting and I found the already fitted medium earpieces perfect. Whether I was walking, running or cycling they remained in position far better than other earbuds I have been using for the last few years. The push button on each bud takes some getting used to in comparison to the touch sensitive ones I have been used to however, after a few days I got used to this and the advantage of the button is that you won't ever get an accidental press or activation which used to happen to me regularly. The sound quality is exceptional, and the bass is great. I can really notice the difference between these and other buds I have used. There are three sound settings to choose and the passthrough sound setting works very well enabling you to listen whilst hearing what is going on around. Call quality is crystal clear and calls easy to answer at the touch of a button. I downloaded the Jabra Sound+ app to my android phone and quickly and easily connected the buds. Straight away it notified me of a firmware update which it started downloading and installed in around 15mins. I found the Jabra Sound+ app itself very smooth with useful calibration features which tailor the sound of each individual bud based on your hearing after a few tests. I found this to be a useful feature as my hearing is noticeable worse in my right ear after an accident and the app picked up on this. I am more than impressed with the Jabra Elite Pro buds. They have a great fit, sound awesome and the Bluetooth connection is reliable and stable. The Sound+ app has lots of useful features and settings allowing users to personalise their earbuds to suit them. Battery holds up as you would expect from a premium set of earbuds with a full day's use. Are they worth the hefty price tag? If they are reliable and last for many years to come, then it is a small price to pay for a great set of earbuds which will be used daily!

You can't replace the charging case if u loose it

I have lost 2 cases now(slipped out of my pocket on the bus). Unfortunately you cannot buy just the case, and do not belive tje Jabra website saying they sell just the case. I have talked to a representative over the phone and they don't have replacement cases even though the website says they do but just out of stock. If you loose the case you have to buy a whole set again.-the earbuds can suddenly fall out of your ears. This normally happened to me on hot days. ( I needed to do this a couple of times as I was out and about or at a friend's house and I didn't have the original charging cable with me).3-I suggest that you do not use these earbuds for making phone calls as anyone you are on the phone to can hear all the background noise however you cannot hear your background noise as much. Having a phone call basically sounds like you have the hear-through option on all the time and you cannot turn it off.The hear-through option allows you to hear background noises and sounds as you would if you were not wearing the earphones but it sounds very stereo like. As the microphone for the earbuds is basically inside the ear buds and it's done through bone conductivity the sound quality for what you're speaking into the earphone for someone else to hear on a phone call is not very good.The only time someone can hear you properly if you're using these earbuds for a phone call, is if you are sitting in a quiet place that has absolutely no background noise.Please note these earbuds I meant to have something like 6 microphones....which clearly are still not that great since it is so far away from your mouth.

only works for mobile devices (for the most part)

I bought these earbuds thinking that it'd be great to use for my workstation at home. seeing as these were bluetooth & my PC allowed for a bluetooth connection, seemed easy enough.
