I prefer the 75t and 85t over the new 'lineup' of Jabra 'Elite' 3, 4 and 7 earbuds. I love the 75t for workouts and bought a few extra as spares just in case. I also bought these and only recently opened them up to try.. and wow.The sound coming out of these is pretty amazing and im guessing it has something to do with the uniquely larger 12mm drivers - a hard detail to find and a detail you wont see in competing brands. Maybe thats why the MSRP of these are more expensive than the newer top o the line Pro 7s. If you are looking for Sound Quality, these are among the best. Sure, these are larger than the slimline look of the Elite 3, 4, 7s and even 75t.. but its not obnoxiously so like the Sony W1000XM4s which protrude quite a bit and have less comfortable foam ... I cannot speak on behalf of the ANC - but from my experience Jabra's ANC tech is very average. The call quality from these with the 6 microphones should give this a standing chance with the new competition too but to be fair, I havent tried it and cant offer a fair comparison. All I know is that the sound quality of these are amazing - great soundstage, bass and clarity. Bought a second pair when Jabra 'refreshes' *cought* waters it down into what will inevitably be called the 'Elite 8'. Get these!

I could not get a good fit/seal in my ear with the tips that come in the box. I read several reviews that mentioned this but said the sound was so good and the ANC (active noise control) kept this from being a problem. Well unfortunately it is a problem for me. I really wanted my search to be over for premium ear buds. I used the ear buds for about three charging cycles (15 hours) hoping they would grow on me. I was not very impressed with the ANC. I ended up finding and trying some old ear bud tips I had in an effort to improve the seal/fit in my ear. Even with a better seal the ANC never was impressive. To illustrate I bought a pair of JLab Go Air Pop Bluetooth Earbuds, True Wireless with Charging Case, for under $10.00 on Black Friday. I knew I was going to be ... I knew I was going to be buying a premium set soon and thought having a cheap pair lying around when the expensive pair is charging would be good. The JLab Go Air Pop drowns out almost just as much ambient background noise by being in my ear as the Jabra Elite 85t true wireless earbuds did with ANC onI have an air purifier that is mostly used for white noise in my bedroom. When I turn on the ANC (active noise control) I can hear some frequency change of the air purifier but it does not drowned it out. Maybe a 5%to 10% percent reduction - which is not impressive at all when I have a $10.00 pair that is doing it almost better without ANC.I’ve tried to talk myself into keeping these and getting used to them. I just don’t think I can. Everytime I put the cheap $10.00 earbud in and I’m having almost the same experience as I am having with the Jabra Elite 85t true wireless earbuds it discourages me from wanting to keep them.Let me say a few nice things. They feel well built. They performed well on phone calls - they have 6 microphones.Cons-The fit, the ANC, sound is average to me even using the app to adjust the equalizer. If you want to try these out they aren’t terrible - just not for me. Maybe you will have a perfect fit in your ear and you will have a wonderful experience - I really wish I did.
Jabra have truly downgraded from a top quality product (the Jabra Elite 75t) to this. I don't have any complaints about the Jabra Elite 75t, as they were top quality ear-buds at their finest, but not only has Jabra failed to make any improvements with these newer model ear buds, but these don't even compare at all. To say they pale in comparison to the Elite 75ts is an understatement. Maybe Jabra truly reached the pinnacle in their achievements with the Elite 75s and there was nowhere else to go but down from there. Idk. All I know is that these ear-buds suck and Jabra is kidding themselves if they think they'll ever make a top-quality product if they can't make anything that can compare to the Elite 75ts. That's for sure. The sound quality of these air buds is very ... MoreJabra have truly downgraded from a top quality product (the Jabra Elite 75t) to this. That's for sure. The sound quality of these air buds is very stalk and bassy (not in a good way) and the treble does tend to produce some feedback in some areas, especially if you have the treble adjusted to high in the Equalizer settings of the Jabra App. Don't buy these. They aren't worth half of what they're selling for. I wouldn't pay more than a nickel for these ear-buds. Bring back the Elite 75ts, Jabra, or something like them, or I'm boycotting all Jabra products for good.
I bought a pair of 65t in 2021 thinking I should treat myself to a nice pair of earbuds for my new job. Not even 6 months in, the battery of my earbuds has shown significant deterioration, they could only play 1.5 hours after being fully charged. I sent an email to their support team and it took them 2 weeks to respond. They agreed to send me a new pair and it took another 1 week or so for the replacement to arrive but the earbuds came defective - the right one wouldn’t turn on. So I had to send an another email to the support team and again it took them 2 weeks to respond. This time I asked for the 85t instead of the 65t in hopes that this model would perform better and what happened to my 65t was a separate incident. I was very wrong. The 85t came defective! Both ... The jabre elite 85t earbuds are the best set of earbuds that I have found after an exhaustive search. My search for the perfect headphones has led me to try just about every one of it's competitors--Samsung Galaxy buds pro, Samsung Galaxy buds live, Beats powerbeats pro, Sony WF-SP800N, Apple airpods pro, and Bose SoundSport--before finally settling on the Jabre elite 85t. While there are specific griped that I found unappealing with it's competition, the main reason why I've settled on these is that it provides all the software capabilities I require to use them for all of my headphone needs while providing excellent comfort and decent battery life. While there are specific griped that I found unappealing with it's competition, the main reason why I've settled on these is that it provides all the software capabilities I require to use them for all of my headphone needs while providing excellent comfort and decent battery life. At work I am able to connect to both my work and personal phone simultaneously and answer calls on either phone. I spend at least 4 hours a day on the phone and the digital ANC Jabre has is among the best I've found in a true earbud. Though they boast an all day battery I've typically been able to get about 5 hours on any given charge using nonstop between listening to media and answering phone calls before requiring a charge. The charging case and it's fast charge is a godsend as it provides the fastest charge I've seen. The six microphones these boast picks up your voice clearly when answering calls or online meetings which is a major issue among the competitors. You are able to customize preferences based on the function you are performing such as listening to audio and having a phone call which gives you the controls of your audio specific to what you are doing. I do wish Jabre would allow you to utilize just the left headphone without using the right one but unfortunately you can only operate with one headphone when using the right bud. The jabre software allows for customization of many functions to control media on your device without sacrificing design with buttons. You are able to set functions for one, two, and three taps for both the left and right headset which covers many of the controls you'd need to control your device without having to open the phone. You are even able to customize the sound to utilizing their software which does help if you are riding them for listening to music. While working out these headphones for snug enough to not dislodge even while running and it's water resistance means you don't need to worry about sweating while wearing them. One other feature, hear through, allows you to toggle between noise cancellation mode to being able to hear ambient noise clearly at the touch of a bud. The six microphones seamlessly allow ambient room noise to be heard and then removed by toggling the mode back to ANC which I haven't found in any other ear bud. It is a culmination of these features coupled with it's snug yet not invasive design, ability to pair with multiple devices, hear through and ANC modes, water resistance and multi on board microphones for improved speech clarity without sacrificing sound quality which separates this product from any other one I've encountered in the market.
After trying almost every brand on the market over several years. These actually really do cut the mustard. The pros: 6 actual regular microphones (which in my opinion and for my usage is better than bone conductive), These also allow for wireless charging which I found handy. They don't invade your ear too far, wearing them is very comfortable for extended periods of time. The 12mm drivers used on this set are also a key differentiator between this pair and the Elite 7's. I also like the PHYSICAL clickable buttons on each left and right headphone. I personally cannot stand touch controls as they are not always reliable etc.The Multipair - Multiconnect feature is great, allowing power users to switch between devices easily on the fly.The cons: You miss out on ... Thusly, You can only operate with the right headphone in mono mode.?Another con, I have noticed is that Jabra has moved on to refresh their line of these products and go in a little bit different direction. I highly doubt we will see the likes of the 95t. The 85t's say proudly on the box "Designed and engineered in Copenhagen" -- I liked this and was hoping to get some 95t's that replace these as the ultra-premium tier for Jabra products.Lastly a major Con that ALL premium headphones and earbuds majorly miss. Is how come we can only connect 2? I'd ideally like to connect up to 5 or more audio routing devices (perhaps even some non audio routing devices) it would be really great if Jabra or Plantronics or somene figure this out because with the continual growth of connected devices that we interact with daily, I'm finding the 2 paired phones/devices thing to be rather paring. No matter how easy it is to go into pairing mode and manually connect. I am super hopeful some player in this space would work on this!
I misplaced my Jabra Connect 5t Earbuds. I liked them so much that they became my go to earbuds. I spent a week looking for them. Finally, I gave up looking and chose to replace them. I was going to replace them with an identical pair but decided to try the Elite 85t. It was on sale over the holidays so why not go for the best Jabra has to offer? And then, two weeks later, I found my Connect 5t earbuds. So, I kept them both. And I use them both. I mostly use the Connect 5t for office work. I use the 85t for everything else. Both are by far the most comfortable earbuds I have use used in years. The 85t have a more natural sound both for media reproduction and audio pass-through using the external mics. The bass is deeper, for earbuds. And there is more flexibility in the Jabra app for the 85t.I currently use the 85t during workouts, personal computer use, and watching videos while riding my exercise bike. The 85ts work perfectly in all situations. I have the Elite 85ts synced with multiple devices. The earbuds will auto sync with whatever my last two device was. Other previously established sync relationships are easily re-established from the devices blue tooth connection screen. I sometimes have to re-establish the sync relationship with these tertiary devices. Overall, not a big deal.My only complaint about the 85t is the poor job that the ANC handles low frequencies. For example, when shopping at my local Best Buy I usually hear a bunch of background noise that I easily tune out. The 85t's ANC will filter out most of the background sound but will extenuate the low frequency of the H-VAC system overhead. I didn't even know the H-VAC system made as much noise as it did until the 85t put it front and center. I tried this in a few other settings where I knew I would be subject to low frequency noise and sure enough the 85t did a terrible job of filtering it out. I have seen other reviewers point out similar issues with the low frequency. I hope Jabra takes this seriously and issues a software update to handle it.Now, ANC is not all bad news. With the exception of the lower frequency band, the 85t does an excellent job. I took these to my state's High School soccer semi-finals. I was in the stands with at least a thousand screaming fans. I used the 85t with full ANC just to see how they would handle the noise. And they did an amazing job. That insane person behind me with the super high bullhorn vocals was almost completely drowned out by the ANC. Which probably saved my hearing. The hoots and hollers were a bit obnoxious even for a sporting event. I also played with the ANC level and allowed some conversation to penetrate the ANC bubble. It did an ok job. Not amazing but I could follow a conversation. Not too bad for earbuds.Overall, I really like the Elite 85t earbuds. They work perfectly for my environment. They are great for Office use, exercise, and apparently sports crowds. Though, keep in mind that these are not rated for hearing protection. Case in point, Jabra has an ANC processing issue when it comes to low frequencies. I think the Elite 85t earbuds will be the earbuds to beat if Jabra can address, and fix, the low frequency issues with their earbuds. Jabra has the comfort issue figured out, great sound, excellent pass through sound, phone calls are crystal clear, battery life is excellent, and most of the ANC is better than any other earbud I have tried.
It's a good bluetooth headphone for the price. Even though it supports multiple connected devices, it doesn't do great when I tried pairing it with my windows computer and android phone. But those are not issues with the headphones themselves. Bluetooth is a bit messy for multiple devices. The main reasons why I deduct points are:1. In Hear through mode, the loudest volume for hearthrough (allowing maximum hear through), introduces some unnaturalness and injects some noise which is not present in the environment. So up until the last but one step, it works fine, but at the last/max step, it goofs up - it feels like the level of hear through actually drops and there is more "comfort noise" added in the lower frequencies.2. Even though it supports multiple connected devices, it doesn't do great when I tried pairing it with my windows computer and android phone. But those are not issues with the headphones themselves. Lack of sidetone in data calls. Sidetone is when a small part of your own voice is fed back to the headphones so that you don't feel like your ears are blocked. When it's a cellular call, a sidetone control setting appears on the app, but in a data call like whatsap, or facebook or signal, etc., the sidetone option disappears. I'm aware that the device and most times even Android itself may be unaware that it's a data call, but then I would expect the sidetone option to be available so that users who know can use it.3. In a data call, the "hear though" option is unselectable from the app. You can either pick OFF or ANC.These are all advanced user points but once even a person without knowledge of these terminologies is shown this once, these are very simple ideas and make a big difference in the user experience. Finally, my brother has the 75t, and 85t definitely has much worse battery life. We talk regularly and we compare the battery life through the call we are on, as well as our own experiments while listening to music.
