Among all their offerings Jack Daniel's Black Label stands out as the instantly recognizable, iconic classic and the brand's flagship. It accounts for 96% of Jack Daniel's sales, making it the best selling whiskey in the world. While the true meaning behind the "Old No. 7" on the label was lost with Daniel's death, it is known that it won 7 gold medals in a very different time. It received its very first at the 1904 World's Fair in St Louis, Missouri, where the spirit reigned supreme over 24 others from across the globe ― a sign of things to come. The most important step in its creation is still the charcoal mellowing, or as they like to call it "The Extra Blessing". Before going into barrels, the clear, 140-proof distillate is filtered through handcrafted charcoal drop by drop, a process that takes from 3 to 5 days and is the reason behind the Black Label's signature smoothness. Following in the footsteps of Jack Daniel's Tennessee Honey and Tennesse Fire flavored expressions is Jack Daniel's Tennessee Apple ― a blend of the iconic Tennessee Whiskey, the Old No. 7, and their own in-house green apple liqueur. The 70-proof expression is fresh, fruity, and sweet with the whiskey base shining through. It's smooth as well, due to Jack Daniel's signature charcoal-filtering process. Ive never liked Jack Daniels, or Tennessee whiskey. I hate to admit it, but this is beautiful. Theres a slight hint of something that always brings banana nut bread to mind. It doesnt taste exactly like that, but theres a hint of something in the background that reminds me of that. Im not good at describing tasting notes, but this has all the qualities of a perfect bourbon, with none of the issues that make me dislike the entrylevel Jack Daniels whiskey. If I didnt know better, I might even think this could be from Kentucky. Its that good. And look at that bottle. Just look at it. Buy some right now. Or leave more for me. Im cool with either one.

I love the Jack Daniel's Apple flavored whiskey. It's so smooth and compared to other flavored whiskeys similar to this one, the apple doesn't taste too artificial. I've tried the Jim Beam Apple whiskey before and it's just too sweet and artificial tasting. Not this one, it's smooth going down and you won't need a chaser. Definitely worth the buy.

The most expensive out the Jack Daniels brands. It is worth every penny. I am a repeat consumer of this product. I wish that it was offered in a larger size. I would recommend this product to others.

Mixing this with a little cranberry juice and it tastes amazing. Honestly the. Eat flavor of Jack Daniel’s they have put out. If you want to do shots with it too it tastes great alone. I also like to mix it with Mountain Dew sometimes. It tastes like biting into a whiskey soaked apple. Definitely recommend for all the whiskey lovers out there.
I'm reviewing this product as part of promotion, I came to this expecting the worst after trying "Winter Jack (shudder) and was pleasantly surprised. Went down a little too easy but loses just a little too much to the apple flavour. Might be decent to whack it in a sauce for pork. Honey is still JD's "alternative" of choice
I rarely drink but fancied trying this as a change from the occasional cider that I have. Really pleased I bought it as it's delicious, I tend to drink it with cloudy lemonade as that has a little more of a sharpness to it than normal lemonade and is a perfect accompaniment for the sweetness of the apple. Obviously it would work well with normal as well as cloudy lemonade or even tonic water. Although you can drink it neat, my personal preference is in a tall glass with a couple of ice cubes (or whisky stones if possible so as to not dilute it) and an ice cold lemonade. Perfect for a warm summers evening.
We received this as a substitute for a bottle of Pimms. Neither of us drink bourbon but, in the true spirit of the lockdown, we were just grateful to have a substitute. So "cocktail hour" arrived and we gave it a go with ice and lemonade. Wow! It's so good and the lovely crisp taste of apples really comes through. The bourbon and apple works incredibly well and I think it will become a new favourite. If you're looking for something different from all the botanical gins give it a go. It's reasonably priced too!
I love a JD with a mixer so had to try this apple flavoured version. I thought it might be too sweet but actually is well balanced with a crisp apple taste so no need for a sugary mixer, tonic is great. You can definitely tell it has the full but mellow JD flavour running through it. Its a great time to grab this on offer like I did if you’ve not tried it before.
First thing to say is that this is my first ever review on Ocado despite years of purchasing. I felt compelled to review to say how lovely and refreshing this drink is. The original JD is one of our favourite drinks. It is just one of those drinks I would order in a bar when I am not sure what I fancy as it never lets me down, always with a coke mixer. However, we saw this on offer (?25 from ?32) and thought we would give the Apple one a try. All I can say is 'Wow'. It smells like crisp Apple's fresh from being picked and the texture of it is so smooth that we have really enjoyed drinking it neat, in a short glass with a big cube of ice (note - get yourself some silicone ice moulds). You do not need more than a single/double measure to enjoy this drink. We are yet ... MoreFirst thing to say is that this is my first ever review on Ocado despite years of purchasing. When lockdown is over, I am looking forward to going to a bar and finishing off an evening with a JD Apple on the rocks. Try it, you will not be disappointed. Trouble is, I am going to have to purchase the other ones now too aren't i!?
I received this to try and review. I don't normally like a bourbon, but having recently tried the fiery variant and being impressed, when the opportunity to try the apple for free came up, I couldn't resist. I was really surprised by the flavour. It was sweet and tasted of apple sweets with a booze kick. My husband loves his bourbon and was equally impressed by this variant. We tried it neat, on the rocks, mixed with coke and mixed with sprite. I recommend on the rocks or with coke. definitely nicer being chilled if you like your whiskey straight, and we both thought the sprite made it a touch too sweet. Will I buy again? Yes!
