As a woman who suffers from ADHD and does NOT like change...this blew my mind and I'm glad my friend put me on tonight. I'll never look at Jameson the same now with this smooth succulent gift from the God's πππΎ It doesn't burn going down. It's like silk just in liquid form. Smells just like fresh oranges straight from the π³ itself. I'm in love!

This was a delicious orange liqueur, which unlike some of the old traditional liqueurs didn't catch at the back of the throat. The orange scent is *really* to the fore, which means there is none of the huskier flavour of Jameson behind it. I was expecting something like the whiskey/whisky marmalade my friends make for me, with a heavier feel to it, and a definite whiskey bite. That being said, it's very pleasant and would go well before or after a heavy meal over the festive season.

I absolutely love Old Fashioneds, and was so happy to find this whiskey. It has a delicate citrus orange flavour, perfect for when I don?t have a twist of fresh orange peel in the house. Mixed with angostura bitters, a splash of simple syrup, and a large ice cube- and voila! Just as good as our favourite cocktail bar, if not better. Absolutely recommend.

I like SOME of the fruit-flavored whiskeys, so I decided to try the Jameson Orange Irish Whiskey. It is really good. It has a strong orange zest smell when you open it, and you can definitely taste the orange in it, but it does not taste bitter or overly strong of orange zest or orange oil. It is very pleasant and mixes well with unsweet iced tea for a really refreshing beverage. It does not taste like an artificial orange flavor.
I really enjoy flavoured alcohol so when I saw this Orange Whiskey I had to give it a go. When you open the bottle you can smell the pleasant orange aroma. It is not to overpowering, but it provides an interesting take on traditional Whiskey. I had mine with ice and soda water and I was very happy with the taste. It was fresh and flavourful but still retained the Jameson Whiskey notes.
I regularly buy single malts but I'm hosting a 'do' and looking for a whiskey choice to share with friends who aren't whiskey drinkers. I tried this as advised on the bottle - over ice with lemonade and a wedge of orange. We have a winner! Makes a lovely light citrus drink, not sweet, not artificial and not too strong on the whiskey side either, which is just the ticket for a long summer drink with friends. I diluted 1:2 whiskey to lemonade. It's 30% proof from the bottle.
This is a great example of perfect balance of orange flavor. I love Jameson and just how smooth it is but not a fan of flavored spirits but somehow wanted to try this! Great decision, it keeps that Jameson smoothness and the Orange is not obnoxious or too sweet. Had this neat and that in itself is all you need to experience the true flavor of this one!
I?m very surprised with this. I was a bit wary about a ?flavoured? whiskey concept but it is actually very good, at least to my taste. It?s slightly less strong than traditional one, but still quite punchy. The orange flavour is prominent but not overpowering. I haven?t tried it in cocktails but just straight with a little bit of ice was perfect for me.
I really was not sure to think about this when first recommended to me, not described as whisky (but instead as a spirit drink) as well as being bottled at the relatively low 30% ABV. Not being one to shy away from trying something new I thought I would give it a go. My initial thoughts were that I was not sure what I was drinking, but after the first couple of sips I knew it was indeed a whisky, a different whisky but still a whisky. I would not normally mix orange with whisky but the two do seem to work together & this tastes like natural orange rather than anything artificial. I have now tried both neat over ice, with lemonade as well as with a drop of ginger ale, shockingly the ginger ale works & I loved it, like adding a slice of fresh orange to a normal whisky ...Β MoreI really was not sure to think about this when first recommended to me, not described as whisky (but instead as a spirit drink) as well as being bottled at the relatively low 30% ABV. Honestly, it reminds me of orange-oil based household cleaner, or furniture polish. The orange flavor is WAYYYYY overpowering, to the point that I can't even taste the JamesonIf they had paired just a touch of the orange flavor with the dark flavor of their Stout Caskmates, I think this would be a wonderful combination. But it's just too much.
