Janome Horizon MC8200QCP Professional Quilting Machine

I love my Janome. It is taking me a bit longer to familiarize myself with the machine and compared to my older Janome it seems a bit more difficult to set up the bobbin rewind. This will, I am confident, all become easy-peasy when I become more familiar with machine. Love the new options and can't wait to try them out. At this point I am a happty camper, or should I say a happy sewer.

Hi Shelley I want to say thank you for your fantastic customer service. You got me out of difficult a Spot with your Janome Memory Craft 8200. I came to NSW from my home in far northern WA to visit my daughter and grandson at the end of June, due to fly back home to WA on the 9th of July. During my visit with my daughter, WA GOV cancelled my G2G pass and closed the borders due to the COVID outbreak in Sydney. I can not return to my home in WA until the hard border closure is lifted. I had quite a few customer orders for quilts back home and didn't want to lose my customers. Great machine for Quilting

Love my new machine. Stitch quality is excellent. Free motion quilting is a dream with the large bed. Visibility and lighting are perfect. Mr. Vac & Mrs. Sew are always so helpful and ensure you are happy with your purchase.

Love it - a fantastic upgrade for quilters

I received this machine in November but waited to write my review until I'd had a chance to use it extensively. I can now say with confidence that it was everything I wanted and has made my life as an avid quilter so much easier. Previously I was sewing on a vintage Singer so I didn't think that I needed modern conveniences like a needle threader, thread cutter, alphabet stitches, etc. I was wrong. This Janome is powerful yet easy to use. The amount of throat space was a major selling factor and it exceeded my expectations in how roomy it is. Also the speed: 1,000 stitches per minute is no joke! I'm usually at less than half that. I haven't tried FMQ on it yet but definitely plan to! Highly recommended.

Love my machine but....

This machine is a dream to sew with although there is a learning curve. I went through every page of the book and made samples which helps me when I go back to do certain stitches. My only complaint is that it will not sew over heavy, thick seams. Glad I have my old all metal singer for those projects. I tried all the wedges and assist gadgets and nothing worked with the electronics.

My New Machine Arrived!

This is 2nd time I've purchased a machine with them and both times the machines arrived quickly with all items. The 2nd machine was at a great price and excited to try this brand because I have not used this brand. I received the new machine in 2 days.

So smooth - sews like a Maserati

Hi Shelley I've made my first garment made with my new Janome. Navy blue linen pants constructed using French seams and in seam pockets with contrasted fabric and a little detail to clearly identify the back. It was a breeze to sew with the new machine. So smooth! I feel like I've moved from a 1950s Mini straight up to a Maserati! Can't wait to start my next project! Thanks so much for your advice. Catherine

WONDERFUL machine - Everything I hoped it would be

Hi Shelley I recently bought a Janome MC8200QCP from you, and just want to let you know that I’m delighted with it. It has been everything I hoped it would be, nice and big, the dual feed foot has been WONDERFUL, the knee lifter is so handy, and the automatic thread cutter is great for piecing - no more great tendrils of thread trailing on. I am busily making a cover for it which is lots of fun and will send a photo when I’ve finished it. This machine is an upgrade from my other machine, another Janome (a DC6030), which is also a really good little machine. I’m a diehard Janome girl, this is the third one I’ve bought and wouldn’t buy anything else. I’m wanting to get into machine quilting, including free motion quilting and this machine will take me there. YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH JANOME

I have only just begun to explore this machine. Compared to my other Janome MC6300, I would rate them evenly; the reason...Janome makes a great machine.

new machine in the shop.

Very nice machine.. I have an alteration shop and have all types of things to come in for adjustments. I am adding this machine to 4 others that are used heavily every day.. I hope it performs as good as the Elna and Pfaff that I love..It is larger and will be used for the heavy large items... It sew very fast and that is what I love most... The stitches are beautiful.So far everyone is happy with the machine.
