Even if you're *not* vegan, this is a great, high-quality, one-ingredient Turmeric! Okay, there a couple of fillers, but barely! I've been taking it for so many years, I only vaguely remember what the old packaging looked like! Haha! I take one capsule in the a.m. and one in the p.m. - always with food. I've tried taking more but have had gastrointestinal issues. I take it for arthritis pain. I've also tried *not* taking it, to see if it was really doing anything. Big mistake! I need to take two a day to get the relief. Works great! Any other benefits are a plus, as I only take and notice it to help with inflammation. I learned the hard way that it stains, so I tap a capsule into a small cup and tip cup to mouth. Perfect!
If you're looking for the well-researched BSM-95 form of curcumin, this product is not it. It's called 'Curcumin 95' simply because it's 95% curcumin. Plain curcumin has very poor absorbtion. The packaging says 'bone & joint', but it is unlikely that much of this curcumin will make it to your bones and joints. It could still be very useful for gut health, but no further, and the packaging and branding are misleading.
