I am a retired dentist, and I know how to mix cements. This stuff mixes just like dental cements.I mixed it using a circular motion working the two parts together into the center of the mass until it was a uniform color and consistency, picking it all up with the spatula from time to time to turn the entire mass over so all of the deeper materials got mixed in, too. It took about 3 minutes and 200 circles to get that much mixed but there is plenty of working time with this stuff. Don't be in a hurry and be sure to get it all mixed uniformly.I used the Home Depot JB Weld products to affix a 11X14 heavyly embossed brass memorial plaque to a concrete surface. The concrete was vert dirty, so I had to wash it with muriatic (Hydrochloric) acid and then I neutralized the acid with baking soda and lots of water.I dried the surface well with a large propane torch and mixed the entire contents of both packets (10oz - $40.00 at HD) at one time.I spread the JB Weld on both surfaces being careful to stay within the confines of the space where the plaque would be.I placed large clamps on the concrete and used thin framing shims to press and hold the plaque in place while the epoxy set.It was a warm day in July and the JB Weld set hard in 3 hours, faster than I expected from the packaging instructions, but I was able to remove most of the excess.JB Weld is very sticky and that plaque is on there forever.I am happy with the results.

I really like this epoxy. The bonding is simply impressive, almost like a friend you can trust. It worked its magic on multiple surfaces. My expectations? Met and exceeded, like a promising date! It has stood the test of time and proven to be incredibly durable. The packaging deserves a shoutout too, easily identifiable. It dried surprisingly quickly, which was a treat. And applying it was as easy as pie. In short, it's an epoxy that has my seal of approval!

The reason I think this is a really great product is because it exceeded my expectations. The brand was more than satisfactory, truly living up to their reputation. It was also incredibly easy to use, making the task seamless. The effectiveness of the epoxy adhesive was the cherry on top, it did the job perfectly. Highly recommended!

Works well - no complaints about that. Would use it again.Bought one batch and even though I used equal amounts of each tube, I was left with a fair amount of hardener. Bought my second batch, and the first time I used it a chunk of air came out of the hardener tube. Luckily I had the hardener left over from the first batch so that I could match the quantities. Considering the price, JB should take more care in filling the tubes. Yes, I know they are supposed to be filled by weight, so the quantities should be equal.
Fixed a rust hole in the bottom of a semi truck rear end. It was about the size of an ink pen. Drained oil & used a grinder to get all the excess rust off. Applied to an area 6x6 square. Left it set 24 hours & refilled with oil. Painted over it once I saw it didn’t leak. Probably 50-60,0000 miles & no leaks. Worth every penny. Update, a friend has repaired his the same way, no leaks either.
My purpose for JB Weld was to repair a propeller that had hit a rock and took bits out of all 3 blades. It was an experiment to see if it was possible to fix.Note: I'd caution anyone trying this that your prop could get out of balance and potentially damage your sterndrive/gearbox from vibration. So be aware this might not be a good idea for your setup. So I used tape to cup the product around the damaged spots, about the size of a quarter. Let it harden for 24 hours. Then with an orbital sander, removed access from the repaired spots to the right thickness and shaped each fin to the right size. The engine is 288 HP and the boat is 4200 Lbs. The prop (aluminum) would be under a fair amount of stress at full speed. Worked like a charm. I've put 25 hours on the ... Its not an actual "weld" but an amazing epoxy.
This is one of the best multi-part adhesive on the Market. I have been using it for well over 25 years and it never lets me down. It doesn't make a difference what the application, mechanical, plumbing, bonding or whatnot. It provides a superior bond with great results.Surface prep and planning are very important, making sure surfaces to be bonded are clean. You can use denatured alcohol to clean up product from area's you don't want the product on. I have never been disappointed using this product and fully recommend it,
I have used the original JB Weld for different projects and always with amazing results. For example: I have used it to, seal a hole and crack in a Ford tractor engine block and it is still holding after many years.I have also used it to attach a small piece of throttle linkage after installing a different engine, a 442 into a grand pre. The throttle is still working.I have also used it on a wheelbarrow when the plastic cracked and it sealed up easily.I have also used it do many other broken parts. It has never let me down.
The thin metal pipe in the weighted plastic patio umbrella base snapped when it blew over. Once I dug out the threaded piece a piece of 11/2” PVC pipe fit in nicely to the base. Used the JB weld there and the umbrella pole fits into the PVC pipe. Probably stronger than the flimsy original threaded pipe. Drilled and Tapped a couple holes in the PVC to anchor the umbrella.
