This is a very useful Speaker, compact enough for bedroom use, loud enough to use in the living room, I tried both and decided to have it in the bedroom, fed via optical from a Sky Mini Box, Sky have the JBL code available so seamless control from 1 remote, the JBL remote is nice and compact when needs be to change source. Bluetooth has no drop outs from my phone and tablet and from all sources the sound is rich and pleasant. Unlike some other speakers I tried and returned the volume range on this is suitable for use at night as it goes so low you can barely hear it, so not to wake the rest of the familty sleeping. in True JBL fashion it can go loud when required also. Sound quality is good for its size, its a small unit so do not expect a Bass Monster!! This is so disappointing for JBL. It lacks basic features such as a visual volume indicator, when you turn the volume up or down you have no idea what the volume level was or is. Not even a few LED dots like on the Flip speakers. Do you remember what volume it was on yesterday when you turned it off? Neither do I. So prepare to blast your entire house late at night. Also it has no EQ settings! You can't adjust the bass or treble, no night mode, and you can't select a voice-clarity mode. There are no settings. Bottom line - it looks nice and solid, but it has NO features and you'll quickly realise what you're missing.

I bought this sound bar for my projector about a month ago. Works great and the size and weight is convenient and light. I connect it to the projector using Bluetooth, so there's a little bit of audio lag, but that's to be expected. Sound quality is great, I also love that it comes with a small, sleek remote that has a mute button (great for commercials XD). My space is a 10'x20' room, but I project on one of the walls so I really only need the audio to reach a 10'x10' space (not sure how this performs in larger rooms). Setup was easy, just follow the directions in the manual. It auto-connects everytime I turn it on (if my projector is on) which is always nice. Overall a 10/10 product!

What I loved:Design: Compact and stylish, overall a Premium look with quality materialsFeatures: Easy BT connection and integration to connect tv HDMI. You can set up to control the bar with the tv remote.Sound: the bar is Small but powerful. We love the sound being clear and with the right shades.Areas of improvement:- JBL remote is minimalist and works well, however is missing the preset selection. To control the EQ setting you have to download the app - a bit annoying-From sound perspective, it is missing intense bass.-Overall, the performance is very good considering the price a the compact design.

I did try the optical cable on the tv as well, it works as a stereo speaker. The HDMI is the best, the bar will give you the cinema feeling with the ambient sound system.The sound quality is great even on the loudest setting, the low and high frequencies come through every time, making the music or movie become more enjoyable.When it is connected on HDMI, the sound control goes through the tv or tv box remote, so you can put away the bar's original remote. When you turn the TV off the bar will switch off as well. I think it is great. Mixed opinions on this as we previously used a Bower & Wilkins Zeppelin connected to our main TV which is far more advanced than this in terms of output, although saying that it is a little unfair to compare the two.Despite the device being in theory very simply to set up, I struggled to connect this to our TV, maybe due to the TV's age, but I wasn't too impressed with the audio quality once up and running. So who better to trust.The price point is great and affordable for most people, which makes it attractive.Sleek and inoffensive, it was simple to set up without the need for instruction.Two cables, power and HDMI! (Don't forget to use ARC).It also has optical input (no cable supplied).Quickly we were up and running and the soundbar took over the audio from my TV.I have placed it on a cupboard below.The audio was in time with the speech and audio effortlessly.I tried a few movies (transformers) to get that boom and bass... I returned it because I got a defected one. As I switched to Dolby from PCM on my TV, it made a loud pop sound. Speakers are not supposed to do that. After that pop sound, the speakers kept popping anytime a video/audio starts at a higher volume. That got very annoying to hear.
