Decent for their price, horrid for anything else.

I bought these a couple of weeks ago, and I can say I'm not impressed. The bass and the mids are very present while the top end is lacking. In a song like Doin' It Right, where the top ends are shown and are portrayed perfectly, these earbuds lack. these headphones are horrible if you listen to music, but if you're on a budget, and don't really care about audio quality and usually use earbuds while on the bus, while running or walking, these are fine for that. A different set of earbuds I would recommend for around the same price are the KZ SZN. They are really nice, around the same price and they are modular if you want to swap them and make them wireless.

Excellent sound but very fragile.

Initially very happy with these headphones, sound quality is good, and they are simple to set up and pair.It's possible to switch tune, pause playback and receive calls using the buttons on the wire.On long term use, it first becomes very annoying when the speakers are near end of battery. At random points, a "beep" sound will appear, cutting out playback. Then a few minutes again, repeating again and again. All JBL products do that. Just give one small beep, then keep silent about it.Also, because of the open design, these headphones collect ear wax which may influence playback. Be VERY VERY careful not to clean this out without taking the bud off. I broke my set cleaning out this: under the bud is a very very fragile speaker membrane, totally unprotected. I used a standard key, and apparently that was enough to hit the membrane and break it. Next set should be with a metal mesh.Finally the headphones are fairly heavy, so the wire drags on the plugs. For running, the bumping of the wire is very audible, and not good. These are better for cycling etc.
