JBL Tune 230nc TWS True Wireless Noise Cancelling Earbuds | Black

I purchased these after purchasing our college age daughter a pair to replace her 2 pair of LOST overpriced AirPods. I have AirPods Pro’s and these surpassed them. I love the app and Noise Cancellation. People say they can hear me better and clearer whileOn calls as well. They are a little bulkier than AirPod pros however, they actually stay in my ears! My AirPods and my Beats buds fall out. I have fallen asleep with one in my ear multiple times and it is always still in my ear when I wake up! Can’t say that for the others. I love the long battery life as well. I am please with my purchases! I wished they had white in stock when I got mine but I settled for the black. My daughter and I both have iPhones and never have to reconnect! Love these and will look at JBL for future earbud purchases as well. Also, I was able to find a silicone glow in the dark cover for them online for protection. I highly recommend the 230NC model.

My lovely mother bought me this and I do quite enjoy it!! To turn on and off the sound cancellation, you have to hold the left earbud down (make sure your hair isn’t in the way) and count to one Mississippi. It works to turn the audio both on, and off. To pause what you’re listening to, you hold down the right earbud for one Mississippi and it will pause. The battery life is one thing I really enjoy about it because out of all the headphones I have ever used (which is a lot) this has the longest battery. I can go through a nine hour school day without it dying plus I wear it a bit before and after. However, when it comes to calls, the headphones don’t have a built-in microphone meaning that the audio your device picks up is from the audio sucker thing on the device. Overall though, if you don’t expect to have perfectly clear audio quality like other headphones, I absolutely love these. I’m not positive about the microphone thing but I just think so bc it doesn’t work on my iPhone XR (it could be because my phone type) or a handful of others device. But I’m not a NPC just in case you were wondering (honestly I ’m only saying this bc I feel like there are a few npcs). These earbuds provide very clear and pure sound, and are loud enough as well.Battery lasts much longer than I can listen to music continuously, and the case holds for 3 full recharges.They fit firmly and comfortably, never had problems with them falling off while walking or cycling. Sometimes the noise canceling can make you miss important details of your surroundings, but the ambient aware feature makes this problem non-existent.Hands free calls are fine, I haven't had any complaints about people not hearing me clearly.The app is a bit annoying, popping up, asking to connect every time I start using the earbuds. This must be an automatic and background process, not bothering the user with unnecessary interactions after the initial setup. I'm thinking of uninstalling it.A codec better than AAC would be very nice, aptX or LDAC for example, although few people would notice the difference in sound quality. Anyway, such good hardware can easily handle and benefit from codecs more advanced than SBC and AAC and it's a shame they are not supported.Overall, these earbuds are excellent, the case and app need one or two finishing touches.Don't forget to set the streaming app to high quality sound to fully enjoy your 100 wisely spent dollars.
