The extremely respectable battery life on these outshine any others. I forgot to even charge these for the majority of the time using them so far.To finalize this, I can say without a doubt, these are a smart purchase for any average listener or school goers who need an extra upgrade in sound. I wouldn’t recommend these for any heavy movement activities but they do stay in place pretty well.

Pros: So far, AMAZING battery life (I've not had to charge them yet when by now I would have had to charge my airpods, little if any sound leak, sound quality is decent enough for the price point, I've gotten complimented on the style, and they're pretty comfortable on my ears Cons: The headband part is a little bit tight and the part on the top of the head is poorly cushioned (even if you expand it, due to shape it doesn't relieve tension) even though I have a small head. Sometimes I have the reverse issue where headphones are too big. It does take some time before it starts to hurt but it is not ideal. Misc: I got these on sale so I think for the sale price and battery it's a good budget headphone. Otherwise...there are better headphones. The dust cover it comes with is nice and I like that the charger is bright orange for visibility/differentiation from my other white and black chargers. I cant say I really recommend them but I can say Im content with my purchase and will probably use these until they fall apart.

I was pleasantly surprised by these headphones. As a more entry-level model in JBL's lineup, I wasn't expecting such an even sound profile. While I've never been a big fan of "on ear" style headphones these are surprisingly comfortable to wear, and still do a decent job of blocking out unwanted noise. The sound stage is nice for right-left separation, though it doesn't have the depth of higher-end models. The bass response is much better than expected as well, these headphones definitely outclass many earbuds in sound quality. Overall, these are a great bang for the buck. While they don't have many of the features of fancier models, (no active listening, auto-off, or voice assistant) they don't really need those things to be good headphones. The JBL Tune 520BT headphones are a stunning value in their class. They are an on-ear wireless model, with bluetooth connectivity, long battery life, and are phenominally portable. I am not usually a fan of on-ear vs my preferred over-the-ear, but the cups are very comfortable and cushy, and they do not squeeze the ears too tightly, yet still feel very secure. I even dig how clearly marked the left/right cups are, and the control buttons are placed smartly and feel well-made.Pairing is super simple, and you can manage them by downloading the JBL app to your phone. The app is intuitive, and allows you to customize your EQ, or select a preset, each of which is set well to bring out the best in the headphone's sound. There is also a setting for video playback that helps fine tune performance, and it works very well. I have not noticed any latency ever with these. There are expanded bass functionalities, and they definitely boom. As a personal preference, I generally do not go for heavy bass, preferring a more balanced, rounded, full sound, which these provide! Clarity and detail also recieve unexpectedly high marks; they are almost in the same class as my top-shelf, over-the-ears set that are much, much more expensive. While I do miss having noise cancellation for air travel, the value and quality here make me forget about that!I am finding these are perfect on-the-go headphones that I keep with my laptop for work. They fold very well, and are super slim, making them easy to slip in and out of my messenger bag. They feel well-constructed and durable.Long story short, these are my new workhorse headphones. Intuitive, quality, reliable, and comfortable. Oh- and they look stylish too!
I received this headset a few weeks ago and finally had some time to try it out. To date I’ve been pretty impressed with this headset. The contents of the box were basic and included the headset, a short orange USB-C to USB-C cable, a quick start guide/instruction manual, and the headset’s warranty documentation. The fast-pairing BT connection was extremely quick and reliable on both my Android phone and when connecting to my Windows computer. The sound was impressive right out of the box. However, it was even better when both sound and equalizer adjustments were made via the JBL Headphones App. All my video and voice conference calls were crystal clear on the headset. Another great product from JBL. JBL Tune 520BT Headphones are very well designed and simple to use. Very well packaged as well as graphics on box. The moment I unboxed I realized these were solidly built and designed which I am accustomed to from JBL. Packaging was on point with a quick and easy setup manual. Headphones were charged and ready go right out of the box. Easy to setup and connect to blue tooth. The Tune 520BT sound was very good from a basic easy to use headphones. They seemed to block out surrounding noise. I would like to try on a flight and see how they perform. They sound good, just not loud enough for me. The bass is lacking in these headphones. My old pair, the 500bt ones are louder and bump better than these headphones. They aren’t bad, they are just… meh. Yes I’ve adjusted the settings on the app and on my phone. I’ve done every possible thing. Watching movies using these just suck. My phone speakers are louder and clearer. Also, after a while, your ears get hot and uncomfortable. They don’t seem to hug my ears right, that could be because of my big ah head tho. On the other hand, the battery life is phenomenal. If you’re looking for a basic pair of decent sounding headphones for music, these will work fine. First let me say that most of my earphones are in the ear types. I've always wanted to try over the ear headphones because of the belief that the base would be better and the fidelity crisper. These earphones don't disappoint. They are lightweight and easily fit on your ears. They look kind of small at first glance but do a good job of isolating sound to your eardrums. Let me be clear that they do not go over your entire ear like some of the larger ones I have seen. With that said, they sound much better than in the ear headphones.I guess I was expecting more from this type of headset. The bass it's definitely augmented versus in the ear headphones but not as much as I would have liked. JBL makes excellent ear sets and these are no exception. The Tune 520 are over-ear headphones, made of plastic with faux-leather earcups. Like I said they’re very lightweight and the earcup padding is plush, but the clamping force is pretty high so those with larger heads (like me) will be uncomfortable after even a moderate listening session. Those with normal-sized heads might feel differently. Overall, the construction seems pretty good. The controls on the 520 are straightforward and similar to other JBL units. There are buttons on the right ear cup to help you turn the phones on and off, adjust volume, skip tracks forward and backwards, play/pause audio. The power button is also used for Bluetooth, and the upgrade to Bluetooth 5.3 is a nice addition. Charging is handled by USB-C. You can also adjust the equalization using the JBL Headphones app.The 520s delivered very balanced sound out of the box. It was extremely flat, but connecting to the app allows you to tailor them to your liking. Stereo separation is great and the bass extension in the app provides a ton of punch. It took me a little while, but I was able to get the equalizer set to my liking.Bottom line: The JBL Tune 520 are a nice way to break into JBL headphones. They’re super lightweight, the battery life is tremendous, and if you like bass you’ll love these headphones. The ability to tailor the sound using JBL’s app (which I really like) is a big plus for headphones in this price range. You just better have a smaller head.
It is a very good headphone with amazing sound quality. 100% worth the black Friday price and even original price. The default bass is perfect as you expect from each song. It is also perfect for outdoor wear as it is tight enough so I am not worrieed whether it will fall off. However, there was a slight problem with the design with the headphone design; the band would not perfectly sit over the head and left a noticeable gap over the side of the head. This feels a little weird as other headphone do not tend to have this design problem. Finally, it can feel a little tight after about 30 minutes of usage, which does heat up your ears due to lack of ear ventilation. Advice to potential customers: do not allow the bluetooth volume to go over red marking on mobile ... MoreIt is a very good headphone with amazing sound quality. 100% worth the black Friday price and even original price. Overall, a perfect balance of sound quality, value and price. Greatly recommended.
