I'm glad I did.I have other, more expensive pairs of earbuds and in-ear monitors that cost between three and ten times what these do. Some of those more expensive earbuds have lesser audio quality, some have shorter battery life. The FitSport Wireless compares favorably to all of them because they live up to their 6 hour battery life claim while listening to anything from rapid-fire metal to bass-heavy electronic music, with little distortion unless you turn the volume up to 11 (if you've seen "This Is Spinal Tap", you'll know the reference) and set the EQ for more bass response.Speaking of, these headphones have a nice feature that is generally reserved for more expensive earbuds and headphones - a built-in EQ. While it's not a nice software-controlled EQ like you'd find in high-end headphones and earbuds, it does give you three modes - balanced (the equivalent of flat), bass boost (where the low-end gets cranked up), and JLab Signature Sound (which cranks up the highs and lows for heavy bass and crisp treble). All three modes worked well, but like previously stated, turning the volume all the way up with the bass level boosted does lead to some distortion. The ear tips are also a pleasure. The "wings" do a good job of holding the buds in place when you're active, and with FOUR choices of ear tips, you'll find a good fit (I preferred the large silicone tips, but the foam "Cloud" tips were pretty nice). These earbuds also report battery life to iOS devices. They didn't report battery life to my Android 7.1 tablet, however. Some Android devices may receive the battery life information, however. All in all, you can't beat the value of these ear buds.

I don't usually write these, but I noticed these earbuds don't really have stellar reviews and I thought I'd share my personal experience with them. I bought a pair of these almost exactly a year ago from Target before they stopped functioning. Towards the end of their life the audio would sound sort of static-y. Not with every use, but frequently enough to be annoying. Then they officially died when I tried to recharge them and the indicator light would no longer light up and the earbuds became totally unresponsive.Totally a bummer they only lasted a year, but in all fairness, I got A LOT of use out of them in that year and they weren't ridiculously expensive. So while the earbuds themselves might not warrant 4 stars they are covered under a 2-year warranty, which was a nice surprise. I submitted a warranty claim and the entire process was handled over email. The response time was very quick, with only a little over 24 hours or so between the first time I reached out to make the claim from the time I was able to order a replacement with the warranty code I was provided. Overall, a quick and painless process and I look forward to running again soon with my trusty replacement earbuds.

Overall - these are excellent headphones for the price. I bought these for running and I pair them with my Garmin Fenix watch. The connectivity is excellent - especially compared to my Samsung Galaxy Buds which are unable to hold a connection while running. The sound quality will not blow your mind, but it is pretty good for this price range. Music will sound fine - it lacks some bass but otherwise its totally alright. As a microphone - it is okay. The product comes with 3 months of Tidal (nice, but no thanks) and a suggestion to use the JBL app to complete the burn-in process for these headphones. Skip this - avoid the website and the app, they are a hot mess. Finally! I found the earbuds with battery life I needed that fit my ears perfectly. I haven't run them dead yet, but I definitely get 8 hours battery life so far. The comfort wire is just what I need to ensure they stay in place. They fit in my ears with no protrusion, pretty flush with my ear. I use my Fit Sport 3 during many activities, the one odd one is during sleep. I have a hard time sleeping and depend on listening to various recorded programs (like old time radio) to keep my mind occupied while trying to get to sleep and getting back to sleep. The long battery life allows me to listen all night without a "Low Battery" warning in my ear while trying to sleep. The size is perfect as they do not cause discomfort while laying on my side with them against my ...Ā MoreFinally! I found the earbuds with battery life I needed that fit my ears perfectly. The long battery life allows me to listen all night without a "Low Battery" warning in my ear while trying to sleep. The size is perfect as they do not cause discomfort while laying on my side with them against my pillow. The only downside I've had with a couple of different JLab earbuds are the volume buttons. There is a contact block adhered to the rubber exterior cover that contacts the control switch on the circuit board. It is prone to detach inside from the rubber cover over time and make the volume switches inoperative. I assume this is because when I wear them in my sleep, they might get warm against my neck and pillow causing the adhesive to break down. This happens after a few months of use, but the good I get out of them is worth replacing the a few times a year. These are the perfect earbuds for me!
This is the 4th pair of these that I have owned!Great battery life, fit, and stays on with any activity! Sound isnāt that bad either.Unfortunately they donāt last! My first 3 pairs lasted less than 6 months before the sound in either the left or right earbud starts to cut out and completely dies soon after!!Luckily I was able to replace the first 3 with my Best Buy Totaltech membership. The last pair actually lasted just over 2 years! But, alas, this was also just after my 2 year device protection coverage ended!!Now I have to decide whether to buy another pair, or look for a different brand of similar design.
Pros:- Sound was good- Built in EQ was easy follow- Volume was perfect for my needsCons:- Need to bend the ear buds to get a comfortable fit- Stopped working after having them less than a month*- Giant volume and battery hanging on one side*If you workout hard and sweat a lot then I would avoid these headphones. I started noticing issues when I went to skip a song using the controls on the headphones and instead of skipping to the next song, the song started over. It eventually got to the point where I was skipping songs through my music device versus the head phones. The second issue I noticed was the volume started to automatically change by itself. I had it set where I wanted it, but then it would slowly start to lower the volume. I verified it by watching my device and watching the volume change on my device without actually touching the volume button.Third issue arose when I went to use them for my workout the next day and the device no longer worked. To verify, I plugged them in to see if they would still charge, and no charge light was present.I had high hopes for this pair, but I would look at spending a little more for a higher quality product and avoid this pair unless all you are doing is listening to music in a dry environment.
I know I shouldn't expect much for the price point, but I've had other cheap earbuds before that were at least tolerable. Positive notes first: good volume, quick connectivity, good audio quality.Negative points--------Low battery notification: this is purely agonizingly stupid. When the device hits 30% battery life it interrupts whatever you're listening to to warn you about low battery and will proceed to do so every 30 seconds. Assuming you have 10 hours of battery life, that would mean you have 7 hours of listening time and 3 hours of constant reminders that your battery is low. So it is essentially unusable at 30% battery. This has nothing to do with a defective product, this is simply a poorly designed function, which I would assume is standard across all ...Ā MoreI know I shouldn't expect much for the price point, but I've had other cheap earbuds before that were at least tolerable. This complaint is simply a petty afterthought that pales in comparison to the others. In summation. Don't buy them.
PROs:- Though not quite as extensive as some higher-priced variants, you still get an impressive array of tip customizations with 3 sizes of gel tips, a pair of Comply-style foam tips, and removable cushion fins to dial in the fit to best suit your anatomy- Seriously light as a feather--with the weight borne by the ears via the memory wire ear-hooks, the entire assembly feels like you're wearing virtually nothing on the head- Cable slider at the back helps tidy up the excess cord between the ear pieces to allow a fit across the back of the head as tight or as loose as you need- 3 EQ settings to pick from; the JLab Signature profile (essentially V-shaped) is the most pleasing of the bunch with a generally weighty low end and slightly bumped highs- Quick and ...Ā MorePROs:- Though not quite as extensive as some higher-priced variants, you still get an impressive array of tip customizations with 3 sizes of gel tips, a pair of Comply-style foam tips, and removable cushion fins to dial in the fit to best suit your anatomy- Seriously light as a feather--with the weight borne by the ears via the memory wire ear-hooks, the entire assembly feels like you're wearing virtually nothing on the head- Cable slider at the back helps tidy up the excess cord between the ear pieces to allow a fit across the back of the head as tight or as loose as you need- 3 EQ settings to pick from; the JLab Signature profile (essentially V-shaped) is the most pleasing of the bunch with a generally weighty low end and slightly bumped highs- Quick and painless Bluetooth paring...I experienced no skips or dropouts during playback and they re-paired quickly to my phone or Nano at the start of each new workout- Remained in place and operational during variable workouts (elliptical, running, weights) and post-workout shower with little movement out of the ear canal once seated properly- Inline "control capsule" was big enough to make the three buttons fairly easy to find when in motion and I appreciated the ability to exercise so much control without having to resort to multiple combinations of quick and long presses of a single button for things like answering calls, activating Siri, or changing tracks- The memory wire hooks actually held their shape well during a workout; I thought they'd be sharp or uncomfortable but they actually work very well for what they doCONs:- Honestly, the sound was just okay--the JLab Signature sound EQ setting was definitely listenable with just a mild hint of recessed highs but very pleasant mids and bass; the Balanced sound profile (ostensibly "flat") felt hollow with deeply recessed highs but still reasonable bass; the Bass Boost EQ setting was just WAY too over the top on the bass to the point of being intrusive, not just boosted- Despite the cord slider to tie up the slack, I still felt the remaining "pony tail" of looped cord between the buds flopping up and down behind my head when I ran; some cable clips would have been welcome for an even more secure and less distracting fit- Okay, so the whole setup is truly light as a feather, but that control capsule is SO large that it feels out of place somehow on the otherwise unsubstantial headphone wire which I was always afraid wouldn't stand up to much repeated use given how thin it is- The manual talks about downloading the JLab app--don't bother; it's not an EQ or settings manager for the earbuds, it's simply a JLabs shopping app/website wrapper with some FAQs about pairing/troubleshooting thrown in for good measure...the supposed "burn-in" sound file isn't even available in the app (it plays in a browser or via SoundCloud) AND you have to submit your e-mail address to get it (more SPAM...swell!)- The design of the memory wire hooks kept the buds in place for all but the most demanding movement/exertion; at that point, the buds starting drifting out of my ear canal just a bit--not enough that they were ever at risk of falling out (the hooks really DO a good job of keeping the buds mostly stationary), but it's worth noting that the SQ is likely going to change just a bit the longer your workout runs simply due to the reduced seal in the ear canal as you sweat and move aroundSummary review:I have a lot of earbuds on the shelf and have gone through a lot of buds over the years as well...these certainly don't rank as the best I've ever used, but they aren't the worst either...for the money, they provide serviceable SQ and largely do all that I expected them to as Bluetooth buds should. The memory wire hooks turned out to be far more comfortable in use than I would have thought they every would be. I've traditionally shied away from over-the-ear-hooks precisely for comfort issues--usually the hooks are way too thick, hard, or big, or small--but this is the one case where they actually felt good, allowed a precise fit tailored to my anatomy, and actually did what they were supposed to--they kept me from losing my buds during particularly strenuous exercise.Sound quality was simply okay--perfectly fine for a workout and they'll play loud enough to cause hearing damage if that's what you're after, but I would personally not use these buds as everyday listeners, especially when I was seriously interested in playback quality. It's been my experience that JLabs simply tends to make decent products at decent prices and these turned out to be no exception. I do have some concerns about longevity given how thin the wires are running between the buds/inline controls, and though it doesn't weigh anything, the inline remote just feels a little too big and out of place on an otherwise thin and diminutive wire. But the nice part is that if I lose these, or they break or go out in a year or two, I wouldn't be out the money otherwise invested in a serious pair of wireless buds. Not necessarily my speed as I tend to favor something that dishes up better sound quality overall (even if I have to pay more to get it), but as a gym-bag set of earbuds or something you won't lose sleep over giving to one of the kids, these do a good job for the money.
First I have to look at the price, and considering that these are a serviceable pair of earbuds that I wonāt have to worry about losing or damaging when out and about. For walking the dog, going to the pool or beach, working in the yard, heading out for some shopping ā any situation where I want to listen to music/audiobook/podcast/radio ā these are just fine. The sound quality is not at the top end, but who cares when there is outside noise from people, traffic, or chopping logs? Crank up the volume and fill up your head with sound, and the high fidelity set of headphones is waiting at the house later on when it is time to settle down and focus on getting the best quality.Battery life is OK ā about 6 to 8 hours depending on volume. I can pop these in and go to sleep listening to my Harry Potter audiobooks, and since the audiobook player cuts off after 90 minutes the earbuds go into standby and they are usually OK for a few more hours listening in the morning before they have to be put back on charge. Very serviceable and enough battery life to make a good day around town before needing to worry about a swap.Microphone is OK as well ā phone calls are not any better or worse than other similar earbuds I have used, so nothing to really complain about here. I donāt spend a lot of time on the phone with earbuds, but when a call comes in these work just fine.Fit ā there are lots of ear tips and some cushions to customize the fit. About the same as most everyone else. These are the āsportā model meaning they hook over your ears, so they tend to stay in better with the extra stability of the hooks.Overall, these are a serviceable set of earbuds with pretty good battery life and a secure fit. For the price, a good deal and as long as you are comfortable with the over-the-ear hook, you should be OK for āgeneral purposeā listening.
it's not the best sounding high's (tweeters) - but can sound ok with some EQ- from the deviceit is ok at bass - but muddy at lower HZ's (I high pass at 50hz-ish to get the best performance- volumethe 3 onboard preset's EQ's are distinctly different from each other (hole forward + back for 3 secs to change EQ)I have had a few pairs of these now - in both the battery sizes, they are light and tuff (I broke them by being too tuff on them - that most people won't do - what they need is a shorter/tracking ear to ear wire's, always snagging some-thing until you bundle the wire and tie/fix withe from danglingoff center weight to the right ear ..they hold in/on the ear well - fully flexible ear clips - I leave one out of my ear a lot of the time, so I can hear sounds ...Ā Moreit's not the best sounding high's (tweeters) - but can sound ok with some EQ- from the deviceit is ok at bass - but muddy at lower HZ's (I high pass at 50hz-ish to get the best performance- volumethe 3 onboard preset's EQ's are distinctly different from each other (hole forward + back for 3 secs to change EQ)I have had a few pairs of these now - in both the battery sizes, they are light and tuff (I broke them by being too tuff on them - that most people won't do - what they need is a shorter/tracking ear to ear wire's, always snagging some-thing until you bundle the wire and tie/fix withe from danglingoff center weight to the right ear ..they hold in/on the ear well - fully flexible ear clips - I leave one out of my ear a lot of the time, so I can hear sounds around me -water proof-ish "resistant", work grate with sweaty conditions, does take a few minutes to dry out if water gets into the speaker, but I take these kayaking / white water rafting and with a good fit into the ear - won't get water into the speaker - can even do short swims with-out issue... Plz note - will not get blue-tooth reception while the receiver is under-water - (this is true for all waterproof devices - like cellphones)for the packages that come with extra/different ear-pads, comes with a blue set of memory foam pads that work as earplugs for job-sights, but get dirty /destroyed fast use with care with them I have not found a way to clean them - without destroying them ..
