I'm a 69 year old man whose only owned one set of wireless earbuds, a style made for exercising which have a bendable "hook" to help hold them in place. I like how they sounded when I would press them into my ear with my finger but, no matter what size tip I tried or how I adjusted the hook, I couldn't get them to stay in snug enough on their own. But they did prove I would enjoy earbuds if I could find a good, or tighter, fitting pair. So I recently decided to shop for inexpensive earbuds and, after doing my research, chose these JLAB Go Air Pop earbuds. They were highly rated in numerous reviews for their price, performance, build quality, ease of use and for having three built-in custom EQ settings. They were highly rated in numerous reviews for their price, performance, build quality, ease of use and for having three built-in custom EQ settings. I'm so happy with them I had to write this review.Even being plastic, the earbuds and the case seem well made. However I can tell it's best not to exert too much sideways pressure on the case's hinge when it's open. I read many didn't care for the attached charging cable however I use a charger that has 5 usb ports and it's very easy to plug the case into one of the ports on either end, and I find the attached cable to be very convenient. The orientation of each earbud is maintained magnetically and "snaps" into the case nicely, afterwhich the red light on the case glows steadily if the case battery is above 25% or blinks if it's below. And I love the fact both earbuds pair automatically with my phone when removed from the case and then tell me they're connected and fully charged.I know the sound likely won't impress true audiophiles, but I'm extremely pleased with their fidelity, much better than I expected. I know a lot of it has to do with the fact they fit snugly in my ears. They're light and comfortable and fit me great out of the box with the medium tips but even better when I switched to the small tips. I switch between the EQ settings regularly because they definitely enhance the various music genre, i.e. enhanced bass for Rock, JBL's Signature EQ for instrumentals, enhancing the mids and highs, etc. Even being a novice to earbuds, I found the controls straight forward and very user friendly. They all work as described. And they've proved to be excellent when it comes to phone calls. In fact I received two calls during my initial use and both were clear, on both ends, because I asked each of my friends if I sounded any different than normal and they both said no.The last pleasant surprise is how well the bluetooth works. My home is a small split level yet, with my phone in the living room, I can walk almost anywhere in the house without losing connection. The other day I was listening to music in the garage before realizing I'd left my phone charging in the kitchen.I've rarely been so pleased with a purchase and can't imagine a better value for the money. I've been using them almost daily and hope they'll last a long time however, for what little they cost, if they don't I'll buy another pair without hesitation.

I upgraded the Jlabs I usually wear, the corded Bluetooth variety with these. The quality is good, the product they have a decent sound quality to them and their battery lasts a while, tho I do use them infrequently so I haven't had a chance to take them to their limit. There is one gripe I have with this, well a couple. One is that the touch feature for stuff like changing songs, adjusting volume, and more is a tad hard to get right. The other one is that of fitment. My previous set, see the link to check them out. Fit in my ears nicely and quite comfortably. Not these, they tend to slip out sorta, staying in the hear but allowing sound in and giving this constant feeling that they will fall out of your ear. This is on top of them being uncomfortable to lay down ... MoreI upgraded the Jlabs I usually wear, the corded Bluetooth variety with these. I've been using my new Go Air Pop wireless earbuds for a few weeks now. For reference, I also own Jabra 75t sport wireless earbuds (discontinued, I believe), and bought the Jlab buds when I temporarily lost the charging case for the Jabra's. I mention this since I am comparing the budget-friendly jlab buds with the more pricey Jabra buds. So far, I am happy and impressed with the jlabs! The sound works well for me, although I don't listen to music as much as I do podcasts and audiobooks. The buds work well with making and receiving phone calls. They are also tough, since they have fallen on the floor several times and haven't broken or been scratched so far. This brings me to my one main criticism, which is the same as for the Jabra's. I used Jaybirds in the past and appreciated the "fins" that they included with the buds. They really kept the buds in my ears. Aside from that, I don't have any other criticism of my jlabs at this point. I have the light purple, which is nice and not flashy. I don't mind not having an app for my phone, which I have for the Jabra buds, since I hardly ever used the app. My jabra buds have lasted for over a year with no issues, so we'll see how the jlabs do in time. Thanks to Jlab for offering a quality product at a budget-friendly price.

I've had one pair for three years and after this night I had to write a review, I'll put a tldr at the end. Some context on me, I'm a brute force, dirty forgetful idiot. I use to buy skull candy earbuds and every two weeks had to get a new pair so when I upgraded to jlab I was very happy to find their basic headphones could survive me for a full year+. After about 3 years I needed some earbuds for working out, yeah COVID dreams of getting shredded didn't work out but these earbuds did. I typically hate earbuds as my ears are either freakishly small or the absolute Shrek ear wax that forms makes them smaller. Well jlab deliveries again and these things are hella comfy and don't fall out. Now skip two years and I'm working in a warehouse so imagine the dust sweat and other grime that gets on these things. They're still kicking and going though a bit beat up and slightly faded but sound and quality are still great. I drop them so often, step on them, leave them my hot car and so on. So skip to present and I had lost them 6 days ago, turned my house inside down and figured I managed to lose them finally. Come tonight and apparently they kept the charge long enough for me to figure out they were in the house by my phone connecting to them, and tracked them to my currently running washing machine. They were in a puddle, soaking wet but low and behold they STILL WORK without any issues. To top this off this is THE SECOND TIME I'VE DONE THIS. Safe to say these things aren't water resistant but water proof. I understand companies can change how good their products are so I'll update if they're just as good but if they're even a fraction of the quality it's still worth the 20$.TLDR; I'm a dirty, Shrek ear, forgetful idiot whose dropped and put these poor earbuds through a wash cycle twice but their still kicking10/10 would highly recommend
These earbuds were exactly what I needed for good workouts and short bursts of music on the fly. They were incredibly cheap for what they offer in terms of decent sound quality, quick connectivity, and decent fit even when doing numerous exercises. Please be aware that the case is VERY compact and super easy to lose when storing them in loose pockets. Also, the earbuds themselves are super small especially compared to my previous pair (sony wh-1000xm3). In fact, I struggle with pulling each earbud from the case. Adding small grip-like texture may have helped. Also, this may be due to me having large hands (6"3' btw) or the fact that the magnets allow the buds to sit inside the case very snug. Either way it may be a small gripe. Also, there have been times where I've ... MoreThese earbuds were exactly what I needed for good workouts and short bursts of music on the fly. Either way it may be a small gripe. Also, there have been times where I've lost connection to my device without the voice prompts alerting me. Each time this happened (about 5 times) I have had to remove both earbuds, place them back in the case, and toggle my bluetooth on & off to get them to reconnect. In terms of sound quality, theyre about what you'd expect for a $25+ pair. They come equipped with decent noise cancelling and bass with no options for customization. Call quality can suffer a bit too. The people on the other side of the call can pick up a lot background noise when I'm out in stores or around places where noise isn't that prominent. This can be annoying and off-putting when you need your hands free to shop or carry things. Last thing I'll say is that the battery life lasts pretty long. I've only had to charge them twice since my purchase and I use them a lot. If you're looking for a decent, relatively cheap pair of earbuds and don't care about certain features, these are for you.
I just bought these today, and I'm loving them so far. I love the teal colour (that's what drew me to them, and them being on sale) and despite there being another brand that was the same price, with an original higher price, these had better reviews.I was looking for a low cost option, because I figure I'll lose them within a year. I also have a hard time keeping normal corded earbuds in my ear so figured these would fall out like those do.These tuck nice and perfectly into my ears though! They have a good, tight but not too tight fit (they're secure). They come with different silicone nibs so you can get better fits if needed. The ones that came on them were perfect for me. I used them for cardio and weightlifting at the gym with no issues, and I'm now using them with my computer while on discord. I don't really understand how the microphone works, but it picks up my voice clearly on Discord, and on calls. I can also be pretty far from my phone or computer (whatever it's paired to) and the quality of sound, and voice is still excellent. They pop in and out of the case easily (I feel like there's a magnet or something, they go in smoothly and securely, and you just pull them to get them out). The universal USB charger is great, no struggling to figure out which way the USB has to go in. They hold a charge really well so far too, and I love that they charge in the case, and you can charge the case with them in it.Pairs really easily too. Just find it on your device and click connect, and you're good to go.I'm only on day one, so we'll see if they hold up in a few months, but so far I'm super happy with my purchase.
The overall quality for sound for these is good. They fit well in my ear. The problems I have with these earbuds though, are:1) The charging holder. The earbuds are frustratingly difficult to remove from the holder. As in, "why won't this come out, I have to put so much pressure on one side and oops it just went flying out of my fingertips" frustrating. Not well designed at all.2) No option to power off the earbuds without placing them in the charging holder. There have been times at work where I need to take them out of my ears for a few minutes and, with previous earbuds, I would simply turn them off to save on battery life. Not so with these. Just would be a nice feature.3) The actual tap controls on the earbuds. These are touch-sensitive as opposed to be ... MoreThe overall quality for sound for these is good. They fit well in my ear. There have been times at work where I need to take them out of my ears for a few minutes and, with previous earbuds, I would simply turn them off to save on battery life. Not so with these. Just would be a nice feature.3) The actual tap controls on the earbuds. These are touch-sensitive as opposed to be an actual button that 'clicks'. I cannot count the number of times where my tap either 1)had no response or 2) caused a different response than what I intended. Having a tactile click sound is really important for me, and makes sure that the buttons are responding how I want them to. In the latter point, for example, I would try to tap twice to stop from playing, but it would start playing the voice audio for the EQ3 settings (which I still don't even know how those settings work). This has become a common occurrence, so much so that it's a giant distraction when I'm working out or at work, instead of being a fairly seamless experience as I've had with earbuds with actual tactile buttons. The EQ3 settings leads me to my next gripe:4) There is such a thing as too many options. All I need is to be able to start/stop, turn off, and adjust volume. Anything more is overkill, especially when you make all the settings accessible from just 2 buttons - and given how clumsy and unresponsive the touch controls can be, makes it all the more frustrating.Overall, again - sound quality is good. But the design of the buttons is the biggest and most maddening frustration I have. If they were tactile buttons and didn't cause so many mis-taps, I would have far less of an issue with these. As it stands, I'll be going back to the brand I used prior this when these stop working.
These headphones are decent for the price. The sound isn't too bad, and they're comfortable in my ear. I do enjoy the variety of colours I took off stars for a few reasons:- There are no replacement earbud tips, so these can fall out of my ears because the tips are too large. Very annoying, especially if you drop them on the dirty ground!- They only seem to work well when paired to my phone (Android). I do not have an iPhone but I assume it would probably be ok. Whenever I try pairing to another device that has BT capabilities, the sound is distorted and choppy. I am pairing to a relatively new PC with Windows 10 capabilities, as well as a Nintendo Switch. Both have the same problem with the sound quality.- The controls on the earbuds decide when they want to ... MoreThese headphones are decent for the price. Whenever I try pairing to another device that has BT capabilities, the sound is distorted and choppy. I am pairing to a relatively new PC with Windows 10 capabilities, as well as a Nintendo Switch. Both have the same problem with the sound quality.- The controls on the earbuds decide when they want to work. It can be a PITA to have to fiddle with them or have to take out your phone from your pocket/bag to turn it down, change songs, or pause.-I have also noticed They also just randomly cut out, not long, but enough to disrupt a jam session. It's not often that this happens, and it's very possible it could be interference on my end but I do want to make people aware of it.If you're looking for a cheap pair of headphones for a workout or morning commute, I would recommend them as they get the job done and seem to work well with most phones. Otherwise, if you can afford the extra cost to get something a little better, especially if you need it for work/school/gaming, etc., I would suggest doing that. .
Functionally great.Nearly impossible to get out of the storage/charging box, the size and placement and magnets made it impossible for me and spouse to be able to grip them (two finger pincer grip) and get them out without the magnet sucking them back in.Functionally they worked great, after several minutes futzing with them to get them out of the box. No way to recharge them without putting them in the box . And they don't seal well enough to block ambient audio - the result is that if another person is listening to the TV speakers you will hear both the TV speaker and the delayed sound from these buds. NOTE - I had also tried other brands (competitors) and the latency was not any better or worse between them. If you want low latency you need to have both a BT transmitter and receiving device with compatible low latency (LL) codecs. These products are available, just make sure you have both transmitter and reciever that use the same LL codec.
My husband and I use these earbuds on pretty much a daily basis, what I can tell you is the buds themselves have fantastic battery life (we use them for 9 hours on work shifts, they hit half battery by the end of shift, I've never had them die during work after a full charge). The sound is bassy, clear, and has great volume for noisy environments like work. They do block external noise well, there is no distortion at higher volume, and they also fit very well due to their small form (these are all around better than my Bose headphones, at least in my opinion). The touch controls are decent, not fantastic but they do work once you get to understand them. The case is durable to drops, has a small form, and has a strong magnetic lid. It also has a built in USB cord and charging light. At first, I really didn't know how long they would hold up, especially with a built in charging cord. Now, I can tell you for certain that these will always be my go to earbuds, for the price, what more could I really need? I'm always very active with these, if I ever lost one/broke one, at least I'm not breaking the bank like I would if I lost a pair of expensive earbuds. I've literally never had a single issue with them, they still work as great as they did out of the box (granted, the case is a bit scraped up from countless drops). I don't doubt that I could get a couple more years out of them. Don't listen to the, "Expert reviews", they sound like they've been privileged with fancy equipment for too long. Real world experience from a music addict, THEY'RE GOOD. They have 4.5 stars at the time I'm writing this, I cannot find any other set under 75 dollars that has better ratings. Trust all of the reviews, don't just take my word.
