The JBuds Air are automatically switched on and connect to each other as soon as they are removed from the charger case, so you can continue without any problems. With a Class 1 Bluetooth 5 connection, you can charge 34 hours in each earpiece and 10 additional hours if that's about 14 hours of your favorite music or podcast. You control the sound. Tune the JBuds Air sound to your personal preferences with JLab Signature, Balanced and Bass Boost modes without the need for an app. Control your music and volume with one or two push buttons on the outside of the earphone. Use the builtin microphone to activate Siri, Google Assistant and other language assistants, or answer calls and keep moving. Thanks to IP55 welding resistance, the earphones withstand moisture and dirt so you don't have to worry about hobby, travel or workout activities. Additional earplugs and cuddly fins ensure that the comfort is perfect and reliable for your daily needs. The JBuds Air loading bag is compact but sturdy and fits in any pocket or jacket pocket you take with you on the go. The lights on the outside indicate how much energy you still have before your next charge.

I tried connecting to the app to see if that would fix it, but it doesn't seem to recognizey earbuds even though they are both connected. On a positive note, I love the redesign of the rubber ring that goes on the outside of the earbud. They fixed the issue of it sliding around and comming loose. Music can help keep me calm or focused, but headphones or earbuds can serve as a sign to others that I am unwilling to communicate, so having a more discreet option is sometimes helpful, and has improved some people’s attitudes toward me. When I need to really tune out distractions and be productive, I can do that by putting in both earbuds and setting them to ANC with a tap or two. If I want it to be obvious to coworkers that I can’t hear them, so they are less likely to interrupt, I wear a cheap pair of headphones over the earbuds, and tuck the plug into a pocket or drawer. The sound from these JLab ANC earbuds is much better than the headphones, and the noise reduction is a daily benefit.

These sound great, they feel great, and they're easy to use.On versus.com, they're rated as having better sound quality than several other similarly priced earbuds, as well as several higher priced options. I traded in my Sony wf-c500 earbuds for these, because these sound much better imo. The sound is full and has deeper bass. They don't sound small or tinny at all.The touch buttons on each earbud are heavily textured and more responsive to taps than other earbuds I've used. The microphones on these are also rated higher than others I've compared online. I haven't used these for phone calls yet, but the ANC works pretty well. These feel well-built - they're solid. I also love the charging case: it doesn't feel cheap like most other earbuds I've tried. The only downsides for me (very minor things) are:a) The tap controls are a little different from most others I've had (e.g. double tap for play/pause).b) The charging cord is a very short (2-inch) usb type A, which is attached to the case. Plugging into a laptop or something on a desk works perfectly, but charging straight from a wall charger leaves the case to just dangle two inches, since the cord's not long enough to set the case on something.Overall, I recommend these for sure. I bet you'd have a tough time finding wireless earbuds that sound better, short of spending something in the upper $200s, or more.

Good earbuds, but wish they had two more features.

I received a pair of expensive ANC earbuds that I loved as a Christmas present and used them for about three weeks before they were stolen from me. Being on SS disability I couldn't substantiate spending the money to buy another pair, so I started searching for a less expensive replacement. After a few months of on and off searching I had narrowed my choices down to two pair. I ended up going with the JLab JBuds Air ANC because of the two year warranty. They are very good earbuds, especially for the price, but they lack two features that the expensive pair had that made those great earbuds; the ability to automatically turn off ANC when I spoke, and shutting off when I removed them from my ears. If I have ANC turned on and someone comes up to me and starts talking, I have to physically turn off ANC to be able to have a conversation with them. Because of that, I tend to just leave them in ANC off or be aware mode and put up with the background noise. When I take these off and I'm not going to put them in the charge case, I have to turn off Bluetooth on device the earbuds are paired with first, and then a few minutes later the turn off automatically. When I put them back in, I have to turn Bluetooth back on on the device and then reconnect them.Since they are considerably less expensive than the set that was stolen from me, I can accept that these ear buds do not have these features, as I imagine those technologies would increase the price considerably which would keep them from being a good pair of inexpensive true wireless ANC earbuds.

I really don’t want to write a bad review on these buds because they just sound great especially in this price range. Then the left one played for one hour more, before it also said low power.I let It also play until it auto shutoff. Then I placed them in the charging box and let them fully charge before I took them out and did a 30-minute evening walk with the dog.I checked the power when I was back home and then the battery power was already down to 50%-So, because of the poor battery performance the rating will be a 2 star. This review is subject for changes.

Sound wise, they sound great. Good highs, good mids, low low's. I liked being able to switch between 3 eq's on the go and the charger built into the case was convinient. But they have some issues which just break them. They have Active Noise Cancelling(ANC) when it's on it blocks the noise out, but not all of it. I could compare it to extremely good noise isolation. Additionally, lets say if you're on a bus and if the bus goes over a bumpy road. With the way the ANC works, sudden vibrations cause the earbuds to "pop" and/or cause the ANC to go away for 5-15 seconds. As well, if theres a loud noise (lets say a go bus announcing the upcoming stop) YOU CAN HEAR IT WITH EVEN WITH THE ANC ON. Like come on. It caused my surface pro's usb port to malfunction when I plugged it in (luckily it still works) and the usb port on my surface pro charger to short completely. Can't even charge it from a power bank.Just don't buy these to be honest, spend like $20 more and get a decent pair of senhiessers or audio technica's or sony's. Oh yeah, I also got a 2nd pair cause in the 1st one, the earbuds didn't charge properly.

Revolutionized my life
24 March 2023

For some unfathomable reason I still don't quite understand, I never invested in a bluetooth headset until last year when I picked up a set of these in an impulsive decision. When I say these revolutionized my life, I mean it. They're pretty dang sweet. I was replacing my wired headsets like twice a month before I got my Jlab airs. Now, I don't get anywhere near 24 hours of playtime, more like hmmm 6 or 7 hours. But that's alright. Over time it seems like the case and the buds themselves hold less and less of a charge, the overall volume seems to have degraded over time, but all in all these are very solid and very reliable, great for the price for those of us broke jokes who could never afford the more pricey brands. Definitely getting my moneys worth with them. ... MoreFor some unfathomable reason I still don't quite understand, I never invested in a bluetooth headset until last year when I picked up a set of these in an impulsive decision. Definitely getting my moneys worth with them. Might be time for an upgrade soon, but they have served me very well in the year + some change that I've had them. I clean them regularly with alcohol and lost the rubber buffer rings forever ago but they still stay locked in with my crazy thrash dancing and mad cleaning marathons, so they get good marks from me. Only docked one star because could they be better? Sure. Took a little trouble shooting to fit my children's sized ears, and sometimes the sound quality leaves more to be desired than I'd like, the range is PRETTY GOOD for a 50 dollar set. I will always have love in my heart for my first pair of bluetooth headphones tho. They rock my world.

Overall it's a really good for a average headphones. It works as intended almost for an all day use.Issues and downside.1- App's kind of wonky as of now. Doesn't want to connect most times in the app for the button layout change. When it finally connects, not all the button layout that you change will work to your liking. Most will work then all. Once they are done overtime in a random moment, something's triggering it to turn back on connect to my phone and there is no way to fix it, (without opening the case; close, or turning off the Bluetooth) to stop turning on when I'm not using it. If should know to be "OFF" when in the case and "ON" when you pull it out of the case. Idk if this happens to all of the changing cases, but for mine it has the issue.
