Favorite candle of all!! I can’t get enough of this scent. It’s so pricey tho, so I only light this when I have special people coming over on the house. I received so many compliments. It’s more of a dark floral but super sexy!! I have the cologne and body cream of this too. My hubby got this candle (his very supportive with my candle and perfume obsession lol) and I’m like wow! 👍🏼

Love, love, love this smell! Oud products are my favorite, especially rose! YUM!!! Overall a Great product! No problems thus far. Reasonably priced. Dependable and reliable scent! It’s easy to use and I would recommend to anyone looking for a great home smell!

If you enjoy Oud Rose- this is a deep, sultry scent that will fill a lot of space. It is not overwhelming- not old lady rose or dirty earth Oud. I love a sophisticated fragrance and this is transporting to me. This is something that is expensive, I only light it for about twenty minutes and it lingers for a while. It is my celebration candle- or just pampering with sensory pleasure. These burn very evenly and last a long time

If I could give a negative star I would...

What a huge disappointment.Where do I begin, in the jar fresh out of the box this smelt amazing. After burning this for a few hours, my whole house smelt like BO, yes body odour. My husband got home from work and asked if I had done a workout lol.This candle stunk, and as an avid candle hoarder that was painful to admit. The other really bad point I have to make is that the candle doesn't even burn out to the bottom, this one decided to melt unevenly and burn out halfway down.For the price you pay for this brand, you would expect the candle to not smell like BO and to burn down to the bottom.I will never buy another Jo Malone candle for as long as I live.This is overpriced garbage.

I absolutely love this scent. If you are used to other Jo Malone candles that are lighter you’ll be surprised with Velvet Rose & Oud. This candle has depth, richness and is very complex, intense and has the best throw! You only need to burn it for a short time for the scent to envelope your room. As a matter of fact, you may find the scent too strong for a small room like a bathroom so the 7oz jar will last you a long time. Not gonna lie, it hurts to replace it cost-wise but every time I want to treat myself, it’s out of stock. Again don’t expect lighter level of scent you get from other Jo Malone candles...this one is for you if you want something more sexy, more depth...just more!

Jo Malone candles which are made in London are not just beautiful to look at but the scent of their candles are gorgeous. The candle fills a large room with the scent making my home feel inviting. I have purchased quite a collection of different Jo Malone candles as they are my favourite.

So looked forward to buying this product !!

I waited ages to buy as I adore the oil and cream. Bought 3 and waited impatiently for them to arrive lol. Was SO disappointed, the smell was a lot weaker than expected and it only permeated the immediate surroundings not even the room! I normally buy Oud & Bergamot and even when the candle is finished the smell lingers and can fill a room!! Wish I had bought the Oud...or just one Tonka to try it....I was convinced it would be a lovely strong smell. Very disappointed as I also purchased the more expensive limited edition ones 🙁 Not for me unfortunately.

The quality you expect

This Jo Malone candle is fantastic! The perfume is luxury in scent form. Light it and your home is filled with gorgeousness. Yes, it is an expensive candle, but you get what you pay for, and in this case that is opulence and glamour your nose will thank you for.

Very mild aroma....

Beautiful dark candle with apparently an 'intense aroma' but the aroma is in fact very weak. Gorgeous scent but does not fill the small living room. I see someone else has commented the same.I have cheaper fig tea lights that are good and leave a scent trail the following morning but no such thing with this unfortunately. I will try a different one the next time because they have some excellent products

From the beautifully designed and gift wrapped packaging and presentation to the way the candle gently burns down, this is truly a self indulgent luxury that we could no longer live without. We also received a complimentary basil and lime cologne which is equally divine. The candle itself burns slowly andbreleases the most beautiful fragrance we have ever had the pleasure to smell and the whole house, including clothing, now smells of this wonderful candle.Is it expensive?
