Then i recently learned that Jo Malone scents are meant to be layered 🤯! Since then, I have a new perspective and have been experimenting with different combinations to see how that goes. This particular scent smells nice and fruity to me. Can definitely smell both the Pear and the Freesia pretty distinctly. I paired it with another Jo Malone sample I have called Wild Bluebell and it smells so fresh and springy to me. It also seems to last longer when mixed. One huge downside is these scents are pretty pricey by themselves, so mixing two would be double the already expensive price. A versatile, classic but unique amber floral fragrance - my signature scent!

I've had phases with this perfume over the last 5 or so years but ultimately I've realised over time it's going to be a staple in my small collection for as long as it exists. I love that it embodies so many contradicting aspects - it's warm yet fresh, cosy yet uplifting, sweet yet green with a little spice, simple and wearable all year round and yet somehow distinct. A little powdery but not overly so, slightly creamy, slightly woody, honeyed yet light. When I first bought it it reminded me of a vanilla chai latte - hot or iced. This one REALLY surprised me! I got this as an added option in the "offers" category. I've tried Wood Sage & Sea salt, which I love at first. The dry down of it leans very masculine so I don't like it as a stand alone scent. Normally, if one scent doesn't settle on my skin well, I stay away from the others. I feel like the dry down of one scent that works well, makes it safe to stay in that brand. This is an amazing skin scent that lasts all day for me. Even into the next day on my clothes. Powerful and beautiful

I have never tried Jo Malone perfume before but with the sample I received, I tried the pear and freesia. I must say one spray from the small sample goes along way. So fresh and floral. Perfectly delicate to the nose but strong to catch all my friends attention. My partner loves it and even my mother in law. It reminds me of essential oils and when I researched more into it, I found just that. Jo Malone use only quality fragrances like essential oils which gives the perfume the refreshing and relaxing scent unlike store perfumes. It is expensive but I think very worth it. I will be buying a full size and hope I can sample some others. Completely recommend for all ages, I'm 26 and mother in law 52. Absolutely beautiful and you don't need much at all.

I want to start off this review by saying I just repurchased my second bottle. However I buy Jo Malone fragrances because I enjoy the smells, not because I think these are high performance fragrances. This is a unisex green scent that lasts around 2-3 hours on the skin. I do overspray and have found that when I spray it on my clothes I can sometimes smell it on there the next day. This was my first love from the brand and have never smelt anything similar or like it. If this is in your budget and easily obtainable in your current lifestyle then I’d say go for it. These are cologne intensities so they are made to be light. Because of this I find that I can layer this beautifully with my other Jo Malone scents or fragrances. I knew I was gonna like it because i had received a sample of the body wash in this scent with my previous purchase. This is a hefty price ngl and plus the quantity is so less too. But the smell is just sooo good. It's fresh but at the same time deep and cedar-y..omg idk how they did it. Just the perfect after shower kinda vibe it has but elevated by the richness and clovy spicy nature. Omg omg the first fragrance that I have enjoyed. If you have enjoyed sweet, fruity, floral scents then this is not for you since you enjoy stronger scents that lean heavily on one type of scent category. Y'all can't charge so much for a cologne dude. If Jo Malone were priced at ₹3000 or under...trust me id have tried so many of them.

Summer heat in a bottle

Jo Malone wood sage and sea salt is a very transparent citrus musk fragrance. Although light it has relatively good staying power although close to the skin. This fragrance has a very photorealistic feeling when worn of being on a northeast coast on a dry hot day. It does not smell of sunscreen or have any tropical feel whatsoever. The tart grapefruit meshes with the salt to give a feeling of hot sun which leads to the sage and Ambrette that gives a woody musky feel giving a feeling of being on a hot shore near the dunes rather then the waves. You smell the sand and the driftwood and you feel the sun heating your skin. This is very unisex minimalist attractive. I wanted something fresh, subtle, and a crowd-pleaser and I definitely found all that in this fragrance. Wood Sage & Sea Salt is a salty forest, green forward but in a soft pleasant way. In some way, it smells like the ocean without being aquatic! Maybe more of an east coast ocean vibe. This fragrance doesn't lean masculine or feminine, just the perfect balance.
