I love this cute little eggman! I have used it a few times and it has worked great. I cut my eggs one way and then flip and slice them the other way. I'm glad I read the other reviewers so that I go easy with using and cleaning it. You can't beat the price and it is very compact, easy to clean. I recommend it for anyone who is willing to take their time in their food preparation and savor the moment!

is it cute? Yep. That's the only positive aspect. This was my 4th one of these. I only keep buying it because it's the only one my walmart ever has in stock. This one broke the 2nd time I used it. Junk.

I love this cute little eggman! I have used it a few times and it has worked great. I cut my eggs one way and then flip and slice them the other way. Do NOT buy. It is extremely cheaply made. This is the 3rd one I purchased and the 3rd one that broke the 1st time I used it. The "wires" that cut the eggs pop and break with normal use. I do not recommend this at all. I wish I could give zero stars.
This is the 3rd egg slicer from a different source I have had in the last few months. This one? The wires are loose enough to where they do NOT go all the way through the hard boiled egg. It DOES slice it, but it just comes short of going all the way through!
Horrible. Gave it only one star because I had to chose something. Lightweight, hard to manipulate AND it broke on the first use. I think they spent more on its appearance than it’s functionality. The scared little egg face should have been my first clue to NOT buy it. Already ordered something sturdier.
yes. it is super cute, but that's it. why is it so cheap? because it IS cheaply made. ours didnt last beyond 1 use. first egg and three wires went loose. we only bought this one because we needed one in a hurry. if you want cute, this is your ticket. if you want long lasting functional, pick Any other slicer.
I've purchased this egg slicer twice now. The first time, the wire broke the first time we used it. I thought maybe it was a fluke, so I purchased a second one. The second one lasted a few weeks before the wires became so stretched that it could no longer slice an egg all the way through. Would not recommend.
OH. MY. GOD.This is the best egg slicer I have ever used. It slices my hard boiled eggs 🥚 more perfectly than my wildest dreams could conjure. The cutting wires pass through the egg so smoothly, it is like easing the power seats back in a Cadillac.The happy little egg face makes it fun to use. I have named mine Emilio, as it reminds me of the friendly gardener/caretaker at the youth detention centre where I was housed for several years in my teens.10 out of 10. Would buy again.!
Its been a couple weeks and works great. It was the best price I could find and probably the best slicer? The wires on this one line up perfect and never get caught when closing (unlike the more expensive one that they also have in stock at CT. On others the wires aren't centered and the hinge allows too much play). The hinge on this one is solid. You have to be gentle on the wires when washing and handling but that's the same for all brands. Hopefully lasts for a while.
