Love the design of this ensuite awning and how well thought-out it is.The adjustable height is excellent and aluminium arms are very lightweight.Dry zone is an absolute game changer.Very impressed with usabilityShitest tent pegs known to man, but that's an easy upgrade.Wish they would incorporate the beautiful monochromatic colour scheme into their other products so I could get a shower base and hot tap.I'd hazard a guess more people can stomach neautral colours as apposed to nauseatingly bright blue

I have been using this on a roof rack with my Tacoma. This is a well thought out, easy to use design. I was also happy that it was adjustable for shorter or taller vehicles. I would highly recommend getting a shower drain pan to use with this. I do not recirculate the shower water but it keeps you from standing in the dirt and you can drain the water away from your camping area and not make a mess. We also used the shower tent as a bathroom with our 5 gallon bucket seat. Overall it's a great design and I have no complaints, it's exactly what I needed.

Wow, what an addition to our F150 Raptor Overland truck. It's a shower room, a toilet ensuite, a change room and a camp storage locker all rolled into one neat package.Overall a great package. Well made, great material and we love the way it rolls up a bit wider but shallower than others keeping the entire unit closer to the boundaries of the truck so you don't have to think about it on the trails.The only letdown for us is the outer cover. It is a poly vinyl type of material that scratches really badly from light branches and you cant get them out when cleaned so the unit now always looks quite 'second hand'. We almost never stay in one place for more than one night. We also disperse camp exclusively. Lots of dirt, sand and mud. We are very particular about our gear, but travelling as we do, wiping down our ensuite double before putting it away every night was getting kinda bothersome. Joolca had the answer. Once I ordered and received the mounted single, installing it to our roof rack was very simple and straightforward, requiring only 2 brackets and 4 bolts (included). With no bottom to hold water, we now simply let it air dry in the wind for a short time and then roll it back up and zip it closed. No extra effort. That simple. Seriously...it literally takes less than 30 seconds to open up and about the same amount of time to roll it back in its case! All the features ... Fellas stop looking…..This en-suite has full coverage from top to bottom where most have straps at top.As in all other Joolca products it is well made and quality. I had an end cap for loose in shipping and they quickly sent me the part needed.What is great about this it is easy to setup and great to have on your truck all the time.Kids changing clothes after a ballgame…..in matter of secs it is open. It has many uses.I have the standalone en-suite that I used as outside shower for my Karavan but this one is awesome.
OK it was a bit pricey, but as with everything else Joolca has, it is exceptionally well designed and constructed with high quality materials. That being said, there are a couple of improvements that could make it even better.1. The snaps that connect the canopy to the mounting block could be stronger. They come undone when you try to unroll the awning. 2. The Velcro on the awning is problematic unless you’re 7 feet tall. It’s very difficult to get the velcro stuck to the arms in the appropriate locations if you’re short( solution step ladder), but it would be nice if they were clips or something which would be easier to fasten from below, the Velcro sticks where you don’t want it to if you’re not at the perfect angle. I’m attaching pictures just because there aren’t many out there. I am sure it’s going to look infinitely better when the corners are staked down and it’s on a level surface. Our driveway is an 11% grade. Be well stay safe and think of something that makes you smile.
Overall experience has been amazing. Team Global express was not that great to deal with, but we got there in the end.The Tent is awesome and has been used so much already.- Funny story, our home hot water system crapped itself and we had no hot water for about four days. So we set the ensuite up each night and used the Joolca. Kids loved it, and it worked a treat.Only feedback I have is the press studs that anchors the roof on where it rolls up. They pop of really easy, and no matter how gentle I roll it up and tuck it away, I always pop one or two. But other than that, it is an amazing product.Cheers Jimmy

I also have the hot tap water system.All-in-all, I would recommend this shower tent to anyone, particularly women travelers, those who travel with women, or those who have a set-up where space is tight or weight is an issue.PROS- Tent length closed is about 36” (this includes the “puff” from the bag). Many of the en-suite tents on the market are much longer. I didn’t have the space for anything wider than this on my rig.- Adjustable length. It’s a bit of a pain to adjust if you’re under 6 foot and on higher ground (I’m 5’6”) because you have to manually remove and roll each side to adjust, but the fact that you can change the height as needed means that there is no fabric either ... As a female, this is a big deal.- I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that it encloses all the way around including the top. As a woman, having total privacy for changing, showering, and other basic necessities is a huge pro. I am surprised at how many men tell me that I should just park further away from people. As an often solo female camper and someone who camps with her family including two young girls, privacy is important. Drones, rooftop tents, different level campsites at many parks, and even the spacing between vehicles either at campsites or while overlanding, privacy without a “roof” impossible. This tent solves the issue- Additionally, the back unzips easily so you can reach for something in your vehicle or from exterior storage without having to leave the shower. I keep my toiletries and shampoo/conditioner in an exterior storage box directly behind my tent and it’s easy to get to as needed.- SO MANY POCKETS! The dry storage area for TP, towels, clothes is really convenient. There is plenty of space to keep toiletries and other necessities so this shower tent really can serve multiple purposes.- Dual entry points. There is a zipper on the front left and the rear right so you can exit from different places. I do wish it had a zipper in the rear left, because then I could walk to the rear opening of my driver side 270 awning without ever being exposed to the elements/outside. Now that winter is setting in, this would be a huge plus.- Made of quality material, even the zippers, and the whole system is lightweight. Even the bag shows no sign of fading and I’ve had it installed for a little more than a month parked in direct sunlight outside in the MidWest.- Joolca’s customer service is outstanding. They are responsive, proactive and professional. When I had a request, they accommodated me. When I had an issue (see below), they resolved. 100% 5 star service.- Fully integratabtle with different shower systems. I have the joolca hot tap system, a diesel heated shower nozzle on my overland camping trailer, and an Old-school shower nozzle with a solar bag. This works well with all three.- Despite its smaller foot print and light weight, it does accommodate people larger than me! My husband is 6’2” and 235 lbs. - he can use without issue.- Unexpected perk if you use the roof nest awning brackets and have a rooftop tent:I can still use the rooftop tent ladder and it goes directly into the tent. If nature calls in the middle of the night, all I have to do is use the rooftop tent side entrance and keep the en-suite tent roof open.CONS- I had to separately purchase hanging hardware - roofnest awning brackets for Falcon Pro worked perfectly - for the rail system on my rooftop tent. The hardware that’s touted in the video does fit the shower perfectly, but only accommodates certain kinds of roof rack systems. Be sure to check your attachment points - included is an L-bracket with localized top bolt mounting to your vehicle/rack/etc. Depending on size of rail system, you may have to drill larger holes as this uses fairly small bolts which are not standard with many systems. It does not work with closed rack slat systems nor systems that are not linear (the OEM Defender roof rack is neither of these things). It would be nice if, like many of the awning systems on the market, it included multiple brackets OR a multi-use hanging bracket/hardware.- The tent bag had a hole in it from the way it was packaged during shipment. One of the bolts poked through the Joolca bag and scratched one of the aluminum arms en route to my home. Customer service was OUTSTANDING and mailed a new bag out quickly. Hopefully, the poor packaging issue has been resolved.- Not an issue yet, but worth noting: there are MANY tiny screws that will undoubtedly loosen with time. Since I had to remove the original bag and replace with a new one, I got to know the whole system really well. My vehicle is my daily drive and I use for camping/overlanding. The vehicle movement is going to affect the tightness of the screws. I expect to have to look it over season-to-season for loose and missing hardware.
I purchased a joolca single mounted shower awning tent in the Black Friday sales, I received the awning tent today and I mounted it to my shed racking as I have a Land Cruiser on order and planning to travel Australia in the near future.I unboxed it and got a good feeling it was going to be good quality by looking at the bag the tent is mounted inside.I mounted it and I am pleased I spent the extra money to go a joolca instead of other manufacturers on the market!Frame is aluminiumBolts are stainless steelAnd the only thing the would maybe rust is the brackets.. but they are optional to use depending on your set up.I would highly recommend joolca awning tents!
I really like the build quality of this item. I have the Ensuite Double Tent and the materials on this Ensuite Mounted are better.My one critique, but is not a deal breaker, is the mounting channel. I would have liked it to be an M8 bolt channel instead of an M6 bolt channel. Being able to use a larger bolt would have fit my mounting situation better, as I did not use the provided L brackets.I really like this product overall and would buy again. The price point seems right for the quality of product you are getting. The fact that it sets up in under 30 seconds seals the deal. Trying to setup the Ensuite Double Tent, while larger, took 5-10 minutes to get fully setup and if there was any kind of wind, a single person setup is almost impossible. If you solo ...
