I purchased the shower base to get a more comfortable showering experience. I had no idea that the lake I had camped at the beginning of summer had low water levels in winter. If I had the extension hoses I could have accessed the lake. Instead I collected rainwater in bins and used the recirculating feature of the shower base. Thank you for enabling me to shower with a limited water supply!

Our camper has a 100lt water tank for the sink and showering, so water is conserved at all costs. We both had long hot showers from about 5lts of water combined use, allowing us to both shower each day over our four days away and have water for the kitchen sink without worrying about running out and having to packup and resupply. We have the base and pump/filter to recycle the water around, and it was the best thing. Nothing feels better than a nice hot shower out bush, scrubbing all the grime away, without any risk of running out of water. The only minor issue was that it has to be level, and I mean level, otherwise water will run out of the lowest corner of the base. Made the wife super happy having a nice base for the toilet too.

I got my shower base today.Very high quality. However, it would have been nice to have a booklet with some basic instructions. I had to watch a video on your site to see how the middle support attached. Some people could probably use a primer for the other features, too. Could you post a PDF that contains instructions, with diagrams, on your site?
That it filters and recycles water. That the water can be drained away from camp site . This design means hot showers for as long as you like with pretty good water pressure
Have been trying to look for something similar. So way to go Joolca!!Just a quick comment though, while the area of the base is pretty close to the base of the Ensuite, it would be nice if there are some ways to ensure water drain thru the base. Although it might be in small quantity, I can imagine water crawling down the side walls and making their ways to the ground. In US, some campgrounds have strict policies to collect ALL water from external showers. Maybe some extra length of pvc + valcro will do it.

The shower was used for two weeks in an enclosed ensuite with minimal airflow and not removed to put in direct sun.As a result, extensive mould build up that I’m now in the process of removing.I have removed one star for the rating based on no care instructions being provided. I didn’t (and can’t find) any information that recommends daily maintenance. I think would be a good idea to highlight this in balance with the marketed features.But, “my bad”.As always, follow up support has been fantastic. It totally fits the purpose I imagined it would - it’s used as a shower base for an external shower at home where the nice finishes make it an appealing furniture-like feature rather than a piece of camping functional ugliness. So when I imagined the shower base I needed for that specific use - something that looks nice and drains the water away in one controlled direction only - I discovered this product and it has turned out to be a perfect match for what I needed and it fits really well in the limited space I have available. I have tried a few cheaper and flimsy shower bases and was never happy with them.The Joolca shower base arrived today and all I can say is WOW. This is a solid well built product. The wood slats are super heavy duty, I would even maybe say a little overbuilt.The frame looks well built, all bolts so no cheap self tapping screws.My only comment would be it's very heavy. So if you're trying to pack light and watch your weight this is not a light product. This will be going in a trailer behind our van, so I am not worried about packing light.I am looking forward to giving it a good test run in a few weeks.Long term will be interesting to see if the vinyl base holds up. There is one point where the vinyl contacts the ground under a weight bearing support. Simple easy setup & packing away. Absolutely brilliant idea on keeping your external ensuite dry & free from standing in sand & debris. Combined with the Joolca pump & hose system is easy to drain used shower water away from your ensuite or as we do, pump into our grey water tank in the caravan. Many camp sites don't allow draining of grey water into the ground so being able to catch the water in the shower sump & pump into our grey water tanks means we can set up anywhere & not get hassled.
