Soft bristles ideal for plates, bowls that need a rinse. Good for the lighter loads as the bristles are on the soft side and long, so will damage on harder surfaces like cast iron. The hook on the handle is ok to rest on the side of the sink in conjunction with a micro cloth resting on the side, aiding in friction. Otherwise it can slip off when wet. I have a utensil pot in the sink which I use to rinse cutlery then rest the brush off.I like this brush as it is facing down ready at the use.It is good for those who are taller as the handle is longer; unlike others causing you to bend over. Not bad overall, but bristles could be a bit firmer. That’s ok as I use other brushes for their purpose. Could be priced a bit lower. Longevity may last 6 months. Not bad.

Not a bad brush as far as the bristles go. I've never really find a good one that is both durable and gentle as you tend to get one that goes to either extreme. Either it mar's the surface or doesn't take off harder grime. The scraper has lasted about 2 years but didn't really work as its a softer plastic that is now dinted and doesn't provide an even scrap. The main issue is the little knob that is meant to hold it. It does hold but only on dry surfaces. So if you have any wet or soapy surfaces it falls off. The only mitigation at have is to place a paper towel for the silicon to gripe on. The angle is also not ideal. I would have thought a 90° angle would of been best but they decided with about a 45°. This leaves very little contact with the sink.

I love Joseph Joseph products and thought this would reach my expectations. Sadly with very little use a few bristles have had to be cut off and those that remain on the brush are matted and horrid. The small green scraper on the back is not well positioned and is really quite useless. The only positive thing to be said about it is that the hook for hanging it on the sink (or draining rack) is useful. But you need to learn to hold the brush in a slightly different way when using it for washing-up to accommodate this hook. It is not worth the price as it performs just as well as a really cheap one, and if I lived closer to the store where I purchased it I would be asking for my money back, but it's too far and not worth the hassle.

The material is good quality. Beautiful colour design(I bought the green/white one). A excellent-convenient hook design so that I can easily hang the brush on the edge of the sink or the edge of the window sill, or even lie flat in the sun to sterilize. BUT the shape of the brush head is not round and the hairs is shorter in front, which makes it is not easy to brush the round pot or some corner of pan/tray. Hope it could be improved!
I was delighted with my special Dish Brush Integrated Sink Rest as this particular item is very difficult to find. It makes washing up so much easier as the Sink Rest stops the brush from keep falling back into the water, I'm surprised more manufacturers don't produce this design of brush.
This is the 4th brush I have purchased of this design and have found this version to have a smaller head than the originals and for some reason the brush does not sit on the side of the sink as the previous ones did which is so annoying as it keeps falling into the sink. Not sure I will purchase again.
I'm just about to replace this brush after 3 years. It's an excellent design and stays hooked over my Joseph Joseph draining rack (not so secure just hooked on the sink) when not in use. It's great value for money because it lasts so long.
Love the design and how it can hang or lie down but the bristles started breaking quite quickly, despite me not doing a lot of washing up by hand. It would be good if these could be made more durable. The dark grey looks good against my metal sink. I don’t know how sustainable the plastic is - I hope that Joseph Joseph are using recycled plastic wherever possible. It would be great if the company offered a recycling service for its products.
Sadly the great idea of it hanging over the edge of the sink so it drains directly into it after use doesn’t work! Unless the work top is perfectly dry or the brushed rubber “ hook” is dry it hangs for a few seconds & then slides & drops into the sink. It’s really annoying as the idea sounds great. If you have a smooth work top don’t buy this as it won’t do what it says.
Soft bristles. Handy hook to drain off excess water. The only down side is, it only hooks on side of sink next to the washing up bowl, the hook is too far along to balance in the draining section of my double sink, so it doesn't fit there, as the draining section is shallower.
