Juliette Has A Gun Lipstick Fever 7.5ml

This is one of my top 3 favorite raspberry fragrances. This will stay in my collection forever. It’s sweet without being cloying and it’s so refreshing. I would rebuy this over and over again. Highly recommend. Esp if you are sensitive to fragrances this one probably wouldn’t bother you.

I’ve always been into clean fragrances, but this was the first deep, and sensual fragrances I got. I have always loved berry fragrances, and this one has such a beautiful smooth, and distinct raspberry note. I also love the musk. I highly recommend, especially because it’s vegan and cruelty free! The sillage is the only problem I have with this. This lasts long, but the projection is so low. Yet still, this is one of my favorite fragrances to date! A hard pass

I bought this blind based on the description of notes and the reviews. I’m a sucker for any “lipstick” scent - I love the powdery, creamy, not-so-sweet notes. Loved Maison Margiella’s Lipstick On. This one is a big time no- the opening is just incredibly harsh, musky and pungent with a sour raspberry note. I love berries when done right (like in Burberry Her), but this reminded me of a cheap perfume from the 90s. You get a very faint “lipstick” smell on the dry down but it competes with the musky stench and that defeats the purpose of the playful and mysterious lipstick notes. I returned it.

Beautiful!

I couldn't find this in any store to test so I thought I would bite the bullet and purchase the smallest size, (which incidentally is perfect for a handbag or taking away for a weekend!) and I am so pleased that I did! The scent is beautiful and it stays on well so there isn't a need to reapply. I've dropped massive hints for the bigger bottle for Christmas and if those hints aren't heeded, I'll definitely treat myself to a bottle!

Depends on your body chemistry!

I was so looking forward to this– I love violet scents, and I love Juliette Has A Gun. However, on me, it’s such a non-scent. There’s the barest hint of powdery florals, but that’s all. I can’t even layer it with other scents because, bizarrely, it seems to almost cancel out or erase whatever you layer it with– it’s so effective at that, in fact, that instead of returning it, I think I’ll keep it to use it as basically a perfume remover whenever I overdo it with another scent because it makes even my most intense perfumes completely fade away when layered on top. Maybe it’s just my body chemistry, because on my friend it smells lovely and soft, like freshly uncapped lipstick with light, powdery florals. Great evening/night out scent

This is my second favorite JHAG fragrance, the first being sunny side up. I first got it in the discovery kit and liked it enough to buy the travel size, which was cheap enough for me to justify purchasing. This is more of a night scent for me, because it's pretty floral-based, but it's not pure floral, like Lady Vengeance. It also has something waxy scented upon first application, which ends up melting away into a softened down floral, similar to what you'd have in your cosmetics. It probably wont be for everyone, but if you can get a sample, do so. I love it. LOVELY... wish it lasted longer!

this scent is fabulous. I bought the travel size to ensure I would like it. It smells of red berries and icing sugar and patchouli. It does not smell like a MAC lipstick. MAC lipstick smells like a red velvet cupcake. This does have some hints of vanilla but it’s not a thick, heavy vanilla. It’s light and airy. My only complaint: IT DOES NOT LAST. no staying power. I am constantly reapplying. Which is fine cause I love the scent but I’ve already sprayed a lot of the perfume in just a few days! I really wish it lingered longer. I think cause the formula is “not a perfume” the chemistry doesn’t allow it to stay put. But don’t let that stop you. It smells amazing. Just a short story. Ladies, remember when you were young, about 5, 6, or 7 and you felt the need to root through your mom's dresser and stumbled across her makeup bag? When you found it, it was like the holy grail for a kid that age. I remember it was in the mid '60's when I found my mom's makeup bag. It had these old vintage Revlop refillable lipsticks probably from the 1950s in fancy cases. I remember the smell of them too. So anyway, I got Lipstick Fever by Juliette Has A Gun as a free sample, and as soon as I put it on, I smelled those lipsticks and a flood of memories from that time came back to me. lipstick fever

i had high hopes for this because i've seriously been craving a perfume with raspberry notes. i got the smallest spray size to test out and it's just ok, imo. i liked it a lot to start; the raspberry notes are strong on first spray and gives the florals a nice shot of freshness while the florals keep the berries from going candy-sweet. pretty unique, but still very wearble. that raspberry note doesn't last long on me, though. it turns into a pretty generic, sweet floral scent after that first hour. it sorta reminds me of those floral body sprays girls used to use in my grade/middle schools. it's not bad, but not really my thing. the lasting power is quite good on me. i'm gonna use it up, but won't be getting the larger size.

Sadly as it seems to be a thing with all Juliette Has A Gun perfumes is the trial sizes are much more potent than the full sized bottles. I really don't understand why they do this bc I won't buy another knowing it doesn't smell as good as the sample I tried. I had been given a bottle of Vanilla Vibes and it's fine, nothing special but liked it enough to buy the sample pack which is where I fell in love with Lipstick Fever. The sillage and longevity were amazing and I thought it would be totally worth the money to buy the full size bottle. No, not so. I have to spray soooo much to get a noticeable scent with this bottle and it doesn't last all day like the sample size.
