Juliette Has A Gun Sunny Side Up 7.5ml

I get more compliments on this perfume than any other one & im a frag-head that tests everything I can get my hands on. It’s definitely a huge fragrance bomb - I’m careful where I wear it. It’s sensual like a hot summer night. Wood and raspberry it gives a different perspective than a lot of ouds that are paired with florals (especially rose). It’s not a middle eastern oud but a more western oud. I wouldn’t recommend buying it without trying it but I do get a lot of compliments on it

Very beautiful, soft and warm scent. Reminds me of that comforting sun dried laundry smell. It’s elegant yet approachable. Smells mostly woodsy with a little sweetness. I don’t really get much coconut which I was worried about. Wears close to the skin which is great for me since I work in a restaurant and don’t want a loud, demanding scent. The biggest con is it truly doesn’t last long. Probably only 4hrs max. Also the travel size sprays a very large amount of fragrance so it feels like I’m just blowing through this perfume with every spritz. I’d much rather have smaller spritzes in multiple places than these power spritzes that send the fragrance way beyond the area I’m applying it too. It’s very wasteful. This scent was a little unexpected for me. For one thing, Sunny Side Up from Juliette Has a Gun had flown completely under my radar until I recently heard of it. The sunshine in this one is more reminiscent of an early morning quiet time of reading and tea in a sunshine-warmed window seat than it is anything traditionally sunny. That's okay with me! It's not going to be a favorite scent of mine, but it does definitely fit well for certain quiet moods!

Just like the title, this fragrance smells just like a Moscow mule of ginger beer and lime. The longevity on this scent is anywhere from 6-10 hours depending how much you spray of this. The only thing about this scent is I find at least for myself you have to spray it on your wrist so you don’t overwhelm yourself with the smell of this. I find when I wear this on my neck and chest I get a little bit of a headache after a few hours. But when I wear this on my wrists I find I can really enjoy the fragrance!

The fact that the creamy notes are so prominent is awesome for me. I find it hard to find a perfume that promises a creamy note and can actually deliver on that. I also enjoy the woody tones to it. It really makes me feel more sunny! After the first spray I literally said wow and I’ve been using it constantly. The perfume comes out like an ultra fine mist it’s really unique to other perfumes I have including luxury perfumes and I love it. If you like to spray perfume in the air and walk through it, this spray will be perfect it hovers for a little because it’s so airy. It comes in an interesting black foam container but I’m not worried about breaking it. Here’s the bad new, the largest size is quite pricey. I believe $130 or so, I try not to think about it but I don’t have any regrets. Another thing, I don’t feel you can wear too much of this perfume it’s not heavy at all and it clings to clothing really well, on my wrist I found it faded and needed a touch up at about 4 hours. Really lovely, so happy to have added it to my collection.

Bizarre Scent

This scent really baffles me. Reading the reviews, I don't agree with ANY of them! It's really crazy how different this scent seems to be described by different people. "Cold Autumn Day" "Dominant sandalwood" "Cozying up to a fireplace" "squashed Ants" "cat pee" "Vanilla" "tropical"... ??? How is this even possible? lol. I love the JHAG perfume line, so this was a blind purchase. I do NOT relate to any of the descriptions I read about this scent. It slightly reminds me of the JHAG Not a Perfume scent, but with a different twist. Right out of the bottle, it smells fresh.. The name "sunny side up" is VERY suiting to this perfume - whoever picked this name was BANG on. It goes on fresh with a zingy start, and as it settles a bit... it has a bit of a sharp pepper zap while still maintaining a light/fresh base. I really love this scent - the more I wear it, the more I really love it. I don't smell "sweet" in this perfume at all really, nor do I pick up the dominant sandalwood/vanilla/coconut people are referring to. I'd say this is an everyday daytime perfume for any season of the year - its interesting more people are saying this would be more of a autumn/winter scent because I think it's more a spring/summer scent if anything, but I could wear this any season and have it work well. Scent I don't find to be overpowering at all, if anything its a little more subtle and less noticeable on myself as the day goes on. Truly a unique scent, likely not for everyone.. but I'm loving the bizarreness of this perfume.

Blech! A rare JHAG miss.

Horrible. I LOVE Moscow Mules but this makes me question that. I can’t even describe the fragrance. I personally don’t smell anything but basil or some other herbaceous note. I normally love that kind of thing but this ain’t it. It doesn’t work. And because JHAG fragrances are so long-lasting, it ruins my whole day when I wear it.

My favorite

Got it for my birthday. It’s the perfume which smells like success and cleanness. Moscow mule is a cocktail from vodka, but I don’t feel any alcoholic notes in it. I’m absolutely in love with the way it smells on me. Reminds me of “not a perfume” from Juliette has a gun, but with more citrus smell and leather. It opens differently on each person. Perfect for those, who are self confident and want to complete it with the perfume you are wearing. Recommend to try!

Smells nice but fades very quickly

Bought this for my wife for her birthday present, have to say a little disappointed. On initial application it smells lovely but within an hour it fades away. Not what you expect from a parfum at this price. A Toilette by Tom Ford is strong and lasts longer than this. Contacted Juliet has a gun and they said they can’t guarantee it’s real because it’s not direct from them, what a load of rubbish. Have to say wouldn’t buy again even though it does smell lovely.

reminds me of an autumn day!!!

So on my break at work I was spraying random perfumes to see what I would like and this one caught my attention. It’s unique, warm and spicy and reminds me of a cold autumn day getting cozy by the fireplace with a hot chocolate. THAT moment! It’s a very warm and deep scent. It’s definitely an attention getter by how unique it is. I don’t think I’ve smelled anything like it. You can smell the undertone of vanilla and sandal wood. It’s so delicious and I think it’s for a very specific person. I’m so glad to have found this. I immediately purchased the mini size and can’t wait to get a full bottle soon
