I'm a sucker for face masks, especially those that can stay on the skin after absorbed.I have tried many hydrating face creams and serums and this one just did not seem to tick all the boxes. The texture was smooth and soft on the skin, however a little too thick for my preference. It sat well under make up and offered a supple base for foundation. The Jurlique face mask cream was so great for my very sensitive skin. I didn't get any irritation. It is a thick cream but spreads out easily and started to absorb into my face within a few minutes. It has a beautiful scent that is strong but relaxing and once washed off only light. It is very hydrating and left my skin feeling soft, smooth and firmer. The box does say it can be left on overnight for an intensive treatment but due to its thick texture and strong scent I personally wouldn't want to leave it on overnight but I think it's great that you can. Nice sleek packaging with very ergonomic bottle, similar to other high end products. The product itself had a nice consistency when coming out of the bottle and a pleasant smell. The formula for the mask was nice feeling on the hands and during application although the smell was a little strong but not unpleasant, just more concentrated in the hand. Applied evenly with fingers and just as well using a silicone mask brush, not overly thick or watery; no weird tingly sensations like other hydrating masks I have used in the past. It felt very hydrating and over the testing period I couldn't see any breakouts which can sometimes occur if something is too hydrating. I really liked this product! Firstly,the packaging is quite sleek and you get a lot of product too. The product itself has the directions on it but not the ingredient list (only the box), I personally like to have the ingredient list available.The mask is super creamy and may be considered heavy, but it is a mask afterall. I think the scent is quite strong and although it's lovely, it may be too much for sensitive skin.Something I particularly like is the time saving factor, it is a hydrating mask which you don't need to wash off at all, simply rub in the excess. It's also lovely as a night moisturiser and could be lovely for dry skin. Overall I really liked this and will continue to use!

This wasn't what I expected, but was still decent.Upon reading the instructions, I learnt that this is a leave-on mask, which seems like a moisturiser more than a mask in my opinion. Nonetheless, the texture is lovely and it did absorb quite well, although it absorbed in certain areas of my face better than others.Another thing to note is that the fragrance is very strong. If you don't like roses, strong scents or fragrances, then this isn't for you.My skin is sensitive and can be reactive to new things, but this had little impact. I still used moisturiser (Cetaphil moisture cream) after this.Overall it's ok, if you like roses you might enjoy this, but I found my usual moisturiser more hydrating.
