It does work....I only have greys around my temple areas and when I first used it as per instructions ..not going to lie I thought "what the hell"...it went orange!! So I attempted to contact Just for men. But in the mean time I used it another 4 times and that made all the difference for me personally.It now looks natural with a few greys only slightly visible and I am more than happy to continue to use it.

I have read people saying it turned there hair ginger? My hair is dark brown that's going grey on the sides, I've been using this product for 2 tubes now and her buying the third. I used first everyday for 2 weeks, then every other day after. I have had no problems with it, so maybe it's a reaction to what's already on their hair. I suggest taking a picture of before as the change is so subtle you won't notice. My only complaint is the tube size which lasts about 5a month using every other day.

Also hair feels really soft, and smells a bit like Davidoff Cool Water?I actually miss the greys! I look different... not as sophisticated, so not sure will keep using forever.Hope this helps, by the way the bottle (147ml) is probably just under half empty so should last 3-4 weeks.Just have to shift a beer belly now :-)

Great Shampoo/conditioner and it works slowly removes grey ! Leaves hair nice and soft and didn’t irritate my scalp which is a miracle as I’ve spent years washing with cold tar products ! They Just need a non grey reducing shampoo/conditioner for in between washes !! Great product
I've been using the old Control GX for years, and it's been Great! I just bought the New formula without realising it was 'New Formula', but the result was a ginger colour to my hair. I thought it must have been an old batch or something. Then, seeing these reviews I understand why, and am horrified to find it's a New Formula! Why change something when it's not broken! How could the company not see this is a different and useless product that will turn away 1000's of customers! Absolutely crazy!
This shampoo is awesome! I used it for 3 days in a row and then a couple of times once a week for 2 weeks and now I'll probably use it once every other month just to keep the gray from coming back. Best product for getting rid of your gray without anyone even knowing your doing it. I didn't tell any of the other 3 people in my house what I was doing or my parents or people at work and not one of them noticed the gray was gone until I told them and they all see me pretty much every day. AWESOME PRODUCT! The only thing I made sure I did was wear some of those cheap disposable gloves when I used it to keep my hands from staining and make sure you shake it up good and store it on its cap for best results. I have been using this shampoo for around 2.5 years now and it has been fantastic and it gave me new confidence in my life however all of a sudden the formula has changed and my hair has turned a weird ginger/blonde colour. This has had a terrible effect on my mental health and because of the horrendous colour it made my hair go to the point I have had to shave all my hair off.Boots should read all the Trustpilot reviews about this product and remove it from there shelves straight away!!!
I've been using this product for over 3 years and used to swear by it. They have changed the formula recently though (as mentioned in other reviews) and although it hasn't changed my hair ginger just yet... I have stopped using it because I could see my hair going more and more red the more I used it!Please change the formular back or offer this formular as a light brown/red option and the old formular as a dark brown option!I would recommend this product to people who want light brown/ginger hair but not to those who want dark brown hair.
I used this product for over 4 years and was delighted with the results. They changed something a few months ago and it has ruined it. My hair went from dark brown to orange and people noticed within weeks. I stopped using it and would urge the company to return to the original formula. If it’s not broken don’t fix it. Do not buy this product in its current form would be my advice.

I've tried touch of gray, shampoo dye, beard and mustache[yes. my sides usually don't take dye well]. They have all left me with that INK-Head look. too dark, or turned brassy and left my hair 3 shades: black, brassy brown and dark blonde [calico cat looking]I went thru 2 bottles of Control X while using JFM dyes. it just toned down the colors, still tri-color.Stopped using all products,let it grow out, and then got it cut.2 weeks later, I tried a new technique used by another reviewer and it worked like a charm.
