K&N Oil Filter - HP-1004

I absolutely love K&N products. I use their cold air intake on all of my vehicles and their oil filters as well with AMSOIL signature series oil. I recently bought a 2014 Hyundai Genesis coupe 2.0 turbo and will be purchasing a cold air intake for it as well. If you care about your vehicles use the best parts even if it's just an oil filter. One more thing, if you drive a turbo charged vehicle, do yourself a favor and buy a K&N cold air intake. You will really hear your turbo spool up and it sounds nasty!

K&N makes quality products, but overall have the best oil filters on the market in my opinion and nothing beats the quality, even if it's a little more money then most filters out there you get nothing but the best filtering and and performance from your vehicle.Used on my 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan SXTOil Filter: HP-7026

So if you don't have the tools or you've never cut open a filter before. STP is good. FRAM is something you should avoid. K&N is great. Bosch is equal to K&N. Now I said what I said cause I bought multiple of each. After going 3k miles on a FRAM filter. The filter material was few and well dissolved. Hence why it's bad. STP has less filter material which means less filtering action, but it wasn't missing any pieces after 3k miles. K&N and Bosch has about the same amount of filter material and the end result was about the same. The only difference is the little hex on the K&N filter. I guess it can make it easier to remove, but if it's on that tight. You already made a rookie mistake and need to make sure you didn't strip anything.
