This knife in question doesn't hold an edge for very long, but for the price it's not that bad. Not the kind of knife for a professional cheff, but in saying that it does sharpen well. For the price i would personally say that it is almost worth the cash. Honestly tho, if you're after somthing that holds an edge really well, you could do better then this. In no means am i saying don't buy this product, just be sure that you explore every option.
Bought mine for work. Great knife to use for multiple uses. I use it as my all around utility, go to chef knife, two passes with it as my simitar, as a slicer...etc. comfortable in the hand and well balanced. Easy to sharpen and retains the edge well. I bought mine used so it has some wear and tear but it functions as it should. All in all a great knife to ad to a home collection or for kitchen use at work.
