Disappointing
I've had this for a couple of months now.If you're buying this because you lack a ceiling fan, I would stay away from it. Totally ineffectual in the Queensland heat unless it's pointed directly at yourself at all times, and even then it just lacks any substantive power at the highest setting. I don't understand the other reviews here saying that it's too high at lower settings, or implying it's a fair substitute for a fan.I'd recommend getting a giant fan from Bunnings or something if you lack a ceiling fan like I do. This is just an ornament that air moves through rapidly. It's probably acceptable as an addition to a well-ventilated living room or something, but I just wouldn't recommend it.... Show more

DO NOT BUY!!
Its cooling effectiveness is good.. HOWEVER, I purchased this fan for my bedroom and the display screen is VERY bright. It illuminates my entire bedroom all night so its like having a nightlight on. Even when it is turned off it still displays the temperature so it's always consuming energy. Also, its has coil whining which is a very high pitch sound made by the coils inside the fan, sometimes sounding like a mosquito. On top of all this, I have owned this fan for a year now and decided it was due for a cleaning however the manufactures have used some specialized screws (triangle head screws) stopping you from cleaning it yourself so unless you have this specific screwdriver or buy it (I purchased a triangle head screwdriver) you cannot open it. In the Manual it says that only the manufactures are to clean it so I'm guessing they will charge you money for this. With constant use fans need to be cleaned a couple times a year so I'm not sure how they were expecting customers to go about this. Fans do not need to be this complicated! I REGRET buying this product.... Show more

Don't bother
The highest cooling setting is equivalent to the low setting of my 2 year old Ronson pedestal fan! I bought this to replace my pedestal fan for my small bedroom and to save a bit of space, well I'm not throwing out my pedestal fan! The label "Arctic Cooling Advantage" is a blatant flat out lie as it can't cool anything!! The unit is also wobbly after installing the base. Don't bother with this and anything from Kambrook that has to do with cooling!... Show more

Fan breeze feels nice, but that's about it.
We bought this for our bedroom. The height is good for blowing above the bed, but there's not much else to write home about.Very cheap construction and feels pretty flimsy. The oscilation setting is noisy and the base occasionally creaks. The worst part (for a bedroom) is how bright the display is. It has a massive blue LED display that even once it auto-dims is still bright enough to light the entire room. We've had to tape card over it to stop it being an unwanted night-light.It's fine if you want it for a loud loungeroom or something, but DO NOT buy this for a bedroom, especially if you don't like noise or light while you're trying to sleep.... Good height but noisy and wobbly
We bought this fan because of the 116cm height which is great to have the air circulating a little higher than other column fans. however it has the base width of a shorter fan so it is wobbly and easily knocked over by kids. It should have a wider base width to adjust for the extra height. It is noisy and weve resorted to propping up one side of the one in the bedroom to stop the noise so now it looks off centre. Finally the led light display doesnt turn off so it lights up the bedroom at night like a giant night light. We are about to cover it with tape. Thought we would splurge on a great fan but at $149 we would have been better off buying a $50 Aldi fan.... Show more

Keep your Cool/ 5th star won't show
This Cooler is fantastic it doesn't leave my bedroom as I feel the heat But no more what with its circulation it doesn't just keep you cool but I now have a new puppy that also feels the heat with his thick coat the look on his face says it all, he's in heaven while the whole room is cool. It also shows you the temperature in the whole room I just can't say enough great things about this wonderful product. Kambrook does it again. Thanks KAMBROOK & THE GOOD GUYS... Show more

Love it!
I love this fan! Its taller than normal and is perfect for the bedroom which is what we bought it for. A few annoying quirks though, its tall which is good but this also compromises the stability, if its set up out of the way, its not a problem. Theres also the fact that in order to change a function you have to push one of the buttons to wake it up before pushing the button again to make the change. Again, this is annoying but not a deal breaker. From all the other reviews I read, I was expecting it to be noisier however, I find it quieter than our pedestal fan we were replacing. Id definitely buy this one again.... Show more

Perfect for bedroom!
I have this fan set up at the end of my bed facing me, I have tried all different speeds & modes and I have to say it is exactly what I wanted! Even at its slowest speed, it is still sufficient to keep me cool. There are a lot of dramatic people in the reviews, this fan definitely makes noise but it is no where near enough to keep you up at night, it also does have a nice led display screen but again it is NOT powerful enough to light up your room. There is a sound when you change the speeds/modes but it definitely isn’t annoyingly loud unless ofcourse you are spamming the button then I can see how it would be annoying … Overall tower fan is perfect for my bedroom, kept me cool in 35 degrees.... Tested in summer. Honest review.
I tested it for approximately 10 days, that were averaging 31-38 degrees Celsius, I used it in a room of 4m by 5.5m. It has a gentle breeze at top speed. I would not recommend it for much bigger area then that. It is nice fan next to use next to the bed during the night. I recommend using a Aircon if heat is the issue as this only really helps with airflow. It's not overly loud and the base is a bit rocky. However overall I feel it's a decent fan for it's price. 3.5 stars week design but good value.... Show more

Very impressed - Great buy
My daughter had already used the tower fan before, so I finally got one myself. I am super happy with it. I got the larger one - When I booked it it was showing as available and then it was not. The Salesperson was so good - she organised to get me from another store and we were able to pick it the next day. Absolutely recommend this fan. Very sleek and the 3 speed with remote is very handy. I am planning to buy another one.... Show more
