It looked smart. I was eager to use my new toaster. First time I operated it the fuse blew and my house lost all power. I reset the emergency power board ... checked that I had everything connected properly and lowered the toast and again the power went off in the house and I had to reset the power board again. I threw it onto the hard rubbish collection because I was told that the unit would be repaired & returned to me. I did not want to take the risk.

My mother recently purchased this toaster. No matter how many pieces are inserted or where they are put in the toaster, part of the toast is irretrievably burned and part is undercooked. I would have to cut off part of every slice to make it edible. Tried adjusting settings numerous times.The only saving grace was that we could return it to the store.
This toaster is great, cooks evenly, takes thicker bread and is quick.Also the ease of service from Harvey Norman online was fantastic.
The toaster is rubbish. I would not recommend it. I bought this Kambrook toaster thinking that it's a reputable brand and it would be good. I would have been better off buying a no name brand toaster from Target or K Mart. It toasts one side of the bread great and not the other side at all. I've tried both slots and the same thing happens. So now I wait for the toast to pop up, turn the bread around and toast the uncooked side. I wish I kept the box so I could return it. Wasted money. Would give zero stars if I could.
Love this toaster. Looks good fits most widths of breads and crumpets and simple to use. Kambrook products, I have always found to be fairly priced and reliable. And what can I say about Harvey Norman service - impeccable, my trusted go to electrical and large appliance provider. Great service as always.
After a lot of research, I bought this toaster and tried it today for the first time.I should have checked these other comments!The edges of the toast were burnt, though the middle was hardly done, and the other side was not toasted at all!Also, the slots are NOT extra deep, in fact not deep enough at all.Not even deep enough to accept the whole piece of standard square bread!I'll be taking it back!Why can't someone make a toaster that actually works?
This toaster is a waste of money. Burns one side of the toast and still uncooked on the other no matter how you place ur toast. You have to turn it down low and stand there and pop it up to physically turn the bread. Waste of money
