My purchase of the Karcher K4 Full Control Pressure Washer 130 Bar is to replace my Karcher K3.200 which has served me well for over 5 years. This K4 has proved much more improved, the extra 10 bars has cleaned garden chairs much better that the k3.200, it is quieter and more comfortable to move around with the handle being higher, much better design especially being an upright. The price from Tooled-up has also been a factor in my purchase and the fact I received it the following day. I am very pleased and would recommend this product.

Bought to replace an earlier K4 which had a top mounted hose reel and was always forever falling over. Much more stable as the HP hose exits near the base but uncoiling and recoiling the hose is a pain as it has a very clear memory of being tightly wound and mind of its own.The pressure indicator on the handle is just that, it reflects the vario jet setting rather than controls it so doesn’t add anything significant and I won’t be bothering to replace the batteries when they expire.Performance is much as before and great for patio washing, car cleaning etc with benefit that all our existing accessories still fit.Detergent dispenser is not adjustable as on prior model but seems to be more effective.

I bought the Kaercher K4 just over two weeks ago and used it for the first time last week when we eventually had a dry day. The machine used a full bottle (not supplied) of Kaercher Car Shampoo in less than 5 minutes? and I was unable to detach the hose from the gun. I phone Kaercher for instructions incase i was missing something from the manual, and they advised as it was only 2 weeks old to return the product to the retailer. Very were very understanding and another product was sent out the following day. Pros: Not really used it all yet but the oscillating fixed pressure lance is impressive - it cut the cleaning of my block paving time down by half. The variable pressure lance was good too when used on the car.Cons: If you could provide a less rigid hose that would be brilliant.
Pros: This pressure washer has plenty of power for those really stubborn stains. Quick to set up and use and doesn't take up much space in the garage. The range of accessories is excellent too so one machine does loads of jobs.Cons: The hose for the lance has a mind of its own. This has been my experience with past karcher machines and can be frustrating having to stop and untangle the kinks. Annoying but fairly minor. The same issue when trying to coil the hose back onto the machine when storing.

Also my old Karcher and very clever wheels on either side for storing the electrical cable and the water hose this one however being more streamlined and compact doesn't have that facility and I feel they've not made it easy to store away the electric cable or the jet hose. Pros: Very easy to use and the results are impressive - especially with the included patio cleaner attachment. Using the patio cleaner was easier than expected.Cons: Storage of power cables and hose could be easier - putting them back after use is like wrestling with a snake.
Pros: I upgraded to the Karcher K4 from one that was about 15 years old. The difference is incredible - going from an air cooled motor to a water cooled one. It is so much quieter than my old Karcher as well.Cons: My advice to anyone buying any new Karcher, is to invest the extra £50 for a Karcher Flexi Hose (or one similar). The standard hose that comes with it will buckle & kink during the very first use of it - no matter how careful you are.
Pros: Having bought cheaper models, we decided to spend the extra and go for a Karcher. We don't regret that decision, in fact I wish we'd done it in the first place. This is far, far superior in every way to the cheaper ones with the same power.Cons: Perhaps an interchangeable nozzle which is variable ie a wide spray function so you can 'sweep' wider areas.
