This is brilliant! Works very very well. Only criticism is the battery it comes with. If you want to do anything even remotely substantial, like a car seat, youll need the bigger batteries. Its fantastic for tiny jobs, but heck of alot of money for tiny jobs. So, in my opinion, not worth the money for the small scale jobs it's designed for 'out of the box' ..... but it is good. Its a very simple machine and, as such, cheap to make. So Karcher are buling up after sales with high priced upgrades for you to get the best of it. If it came with the bigger battery in the box, then this would get 100% from me and I'd be willing to buy 1 more battery and the fast charger. Upon opening the box, everything was packaged well and easy to remove. Set up is super simple, everything just clips into place. You do need to fully charge the battery before first use, this does have a handy screen with a timer on it to see how long it will charge and last when using it. Filling the water tank with cleaning solution is simple, easy to remove and fill under the tap. Turn it on and you can feel the power of suction immediately, just press the bottom on the handle and it squirts the solution. In one swipe you can clean and suck up the solution, I have cleaned my car seats, sofa and spot spills on my carpet and they have all come up superb, as if new. I'm super happy with the results. I highly recommend

A fantastic tool with brilliant performance. Its compact and lightweight yet doesn’t compromise on performance. I have used it over various surfaces and it has performed exceptionally well by delivering a powerful suction and providing thorough clean leaving all the surfaces looking refreshed and spotless. I have cleaned red drink stains off my cream coloured carpet and you would never know there was ever a spillage there. I have also used it to refresh my car seats and bring them back to life with fantastic results. Im not worried about storage, it’s so compact it can easily be stored in the boot of my car. Works well and easy to use.Comes with a 2.5Ah batter, which isnt really good enough for the machine.With this battery you will get only few minutes of good suction and will hear the machine losing power after that. Plus the charging time is way too long for the run time you get.Had I known that it comes with a poor 2.5Ah battery, I would have bought machine only and bought 5Ah battery with charger separately.Kärcher should really know better.Love the machine though

I love the idea of been able to just pick it up and go to wherever I need to clean from the car to the sofa.The cleaner is so simple to set up and use and because it's battery powered you can take it anywhere. The battery takes about 4 hours to charge but unfortunately only lasts about 14 mins. The battery has a always on display which is very good.I tested it out on a patch of carpet andthe sofa arms. I sprayed the solution on by pressing the button then sucked up the water. This is where I feel it is let down as it left the fabric and carpet feeling very damp even after going over for several minutes. This has worked wonders on my car interior. I have a little one who often eats in the car and it gets everywhere! This cleans my seats in no time! The machine is nice and compact so easy to move around and get into smaller spaces. It has several attachments that make cleaning anything so simple. Once charged the battery has a good span and I’ve managed to clean all my car interior four times before recharging the battery. I’ve also used this on my carpets and rugs when we’ve spilt something, it’s ideal for those smaller stains and removes them in no time leaving me with clean fresh carpets. I’d highly recommend
The SE 3-18 has the potential to be a good product but is currently flawed. Prior to purchase I read the reviews and noted reports of a leaking trigger at the nozzle end. I purchased anyway and sure enough, the trigger leaked sufficiently to make the unit impractical to use. I contacted Karcher who advised to return the unit to SuperCheap Auto. A replacement unit had the same problem. This time Karcher were slow to respond. I did offer to keep the unit if they could replace the hose assembly with one that did not leak. They simply advised to return it to SuperCheap Auto which I did, this time for a refund.SuperCheap Auto staff (Noosaville store) were very helpful and efficient in processing the returns.Once the leaking problem, I'm not sure if it's a design or ... MoreThe SE 3-18 has the potential to be a good product but is currently flawed. This machine is a fab bit of kit. It is literally the easiest carpet/upolstry cleaner I have ever used. It's light weight and bright yellow so no concerns of tripping over it. The run time with the battery isn't the best, you would have to do your stairs in 2 maybe 3 charges as the runtime is around 10 minutes and then it's 4 hours to fully recharge.Cleaning in is also very easy you just insert the hose end without an adapter and turn it on. All around this is more of a spot cleaner or for small cleaning jobs as stated I just need a bigger clean so did it in numerous runsOverall the suction power is fab and the cleaner it's self over all is fab.I am definitely apply with this product no cables is fab and sick of tripping myself or the kids up with them
I purchased the above product on the basis of brand name, hoping that this was the right decision.The first one I purchased had a fault where water poured out of the handle. This was replaced by Supercheap Auto no questions asked.I have used the item once so far, and at the moment I’m undecided. I was cleaning my lounge and after using it and letting my lounge dry it needs doing again. I’m undecided if it’s the cleaning machine or cleaning product that came with it. If I use a different cleaning solution I’m sure it will void my warranty.It’s a lot of money when you are not satisfied with the results.,
This is a ripping product which can tackle any nasty stains and spills. It's easy to carry and very compact which is great for storage. I especially loved using this machine in my car to clean my dirty seats. You should see the colour of the dirty water afterwards its amazing what comes out! Highly recommend trying the SE detergents too for maximum spray ex performance. Might have to look at the other Karcher battery products now
