Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturizing Cleanser

Back a few years ago before I really new alot about skincare and ingredients do what I brought this from a recommendation of my moms friend. I havent used it in years now and I have recently been renewed with it because of ipsy and its still as good as the first time I used it and feel in love. Listen I love my cerave hydrating cleanser but recently I have been choosing to use this when im at the sink getting ready to wash my face. This also says alot because im a skincare hoarder and I have a handful or two or more hands of cleansers I could use and I have been using this one for about 2 months straight now. Im even past that half way mark where I feel like I need to repurchase because I cant go without it... oh no. That being said I plan on using what I have in cleansers up and when that time comes I do see myself repurchasing this. I love this cleanser for multiple reasons #1 being that its great for sensitive skin #2 it doesn't strip my oils or leave me dry and tight #3 this genuinely takes the day off . I am one of those people who likes to use a cleansing balm or oil cleanser or on lazy days micellar water for my mascara. Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturizing Cleanser gets sunscreen off and makeup and waterproof mascara with ease! I cant tell you the last time a cleanser succeeded in both chores. This #goatmilk cleanser is great for all ages and all skin types. I love it and truly do recommend.

I got this is my Boxycharm in November and I bet seldom instantly add something new into my rotation simply because I get several subscription boxes every month so I have a crazy amount of skincare products in deck but since I was switching over to my winter routine because my skin gets drier during the colder months I thought it would be a good fit and I am so happy I made that decision. I absolutely love this stuff. I always double cleanse and usually start of with a cleansing balm since I wear makeup practically everyday. I cannot say enough good things about this product. Even with the fact that I have officially had to accept that I am not 20 something and need products for mature skin. If you have sensitive skin, dry skin, or just want a great cleanser that leaves your face feeling clean and looking gorgeous give this a try

My skin gets drier during the cold months, especially around my nose and cheeks. I love this cleanser for those drier skin months! It's so moisturizing that sometimes the hydration from my facial SPF is enough to get me through (no additional Moisturizer is needed). It's very gentle and milky. It gives off a slight milky suds only. Very light-to-no scent. Highly recommend for dry skin babes! It's a little on the pricey side, but only a nickel-size amount is needed for entire face neck, so a bottle does get me through fall/winter. You can sometimes find it on sale. I still believe it's worth retail price since it keeps skin hydrated, plump, soft when you need it most!

This claims to be formulated to to cleanse and soothe without tightness or irritation, it’s a non foaming cleanser. After 2 weeks of use, in some cold, dry weather, my combination skin feels great. No dryness, or tightness after cleansing at all. All time favourite

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve bought this. It’s my go to cleanser. I find it takes off makeup, including eye makeup, and does so gently, which is great as I have sensitive skin. It’s moisturising, it leaves my skin feeling clean, and with none of that film that you get with some others. I think what really keeps me coming back to it (along with all its cleansing goodness) is the smell. I just love it. It makes cleansing a pleasure rather than something you have to do. I like trying other cleansers and often have a few on the go, but this one always remains my favourite and is the one I use day in day out, summer/winter/wind/sun/dehydrated/greasy…

Almost perfect gentle cleanser - strong fragrance.

My skin type is combination/ very sensitive with eczema and is often dry due to retinoid use. I was looking for a calming, soothing rich cleanser to use when my skin is stressed or dry. It has a lovely creamy texture that lathers without stripping and leaves my skin hydrated and residue free (I use it as my second cleanser step at night after an oil cleanse to remove sunblock and makeup), or on its own for a gentle morning cleanse. However, the one star off is for the fragrance: fragrance is stronger than I expected (I did notice fragrance at the end of the ingredients list but most KS products I’ve used have had minimal or no fragrance and most reviews indicated it was mild). If you’re sensitive to fragrance or dislike vanilla/coconut type bath and body works smells give this one a pass or try a sample first.

Great cleanser, but…

This is my absolute favourite cleanser and I have purchased the standard 4oz bottle from Space NK many times. Was v pleased to see a jumbo size as using it every AM/PM I get through a bottle quickly. However upon receiving the consistency is extremely thin and runny compared to the many 4oz bottle’s I’ve had. The formula is usually “firm” and can sit on the end of my finger however this is entirely runny. Feels like they’ve just watered down the same amount of cleanser and called it a jumbo size. I contacted Kate Somerville customer service who kindly sent me a new bottle however sad to say it is exactly the same despite having a different batch number.Brilliant cleanser but unfortunately will stick to the 4oz bottles with the proper consistency.

Like a blanket for your face

This cleanser is like a blanket for your face, it makes your skin feel so soft.My face looks more even, moisturized, and its extremely comforting to use, I find it reduces the redness after cleansing your face and It does not strip your skin but yet makes your skin feel so clean.I find i enjoy the experience of using this, it is effective and you feel the quality of the product when using it. I have combination/acne prone skin and was recommended this in store by someone with similar skin i usually would never go for a cleanser like this usually I used foaming cleansers that often stripped my skin without knowing, this still makes your skin feel clean and refreshed but without the tightness as before. My OG Cleanser - Gentle, Soothing and Hydrating

I've been using Kate Somerville's Goat Milk Moisteriser for almost 3 years and it's Holy Grail. I could not be without it. It's gentle, soothing, low-to-no fragrance and does not strip my skin - leaving it nice and hydrated. A 120ml tube will last me 6 months - I use this for my AM and 2nd PM cleanse everyday, and all year round. It's brilliant in the summer (sometimes I pop it in the fridge for hot days), and I use it in the winter. I've found to get the most out of this cleanser I need to apply a small amount from the tube directly to a dry face, rub it all over, and them emulsify with water which makes it milky. I usually use a soft flannel to remove, but it's also easy to splash this product off with water just as easily. I couldn't be without it.

Test first if you have very dry, sensitive skin

I was super surprised by this product. It's thick and creamy, and goes on quite well, and I expected it to be really appreciated by my ridiculously dry and sensitive skin, but nope. It actually felt a bit tight especially on my forehead after use, which was a huge surprise. There's very few cleansers that I can use that don't give me that reaction, but I thought this one wouldn't do that. For anyone else with sensitive, very dry skin, definitely test it before buying to see if it works for you. Hopefully it will be ok. For everyone else, you'll probably love this stuff, hence I would recommend you give it a go. It was very nice in texture and didn't smell awful.
